I really love this beach because it is clean. I have gone three times, and I do not have any complaint. The water was warm this day🥰. Kids have a lot of fun.

Great place for drinks, to relax and eat after a day in the beach. Lines for the food can get very long!! The tacos are out of this world. Worth the wait!! Day simple beach style bar and food court! Enjoy!! 🙋🏻‍♂️👍🏻😉😎

The beach has a couple of shacks selling chilled beers, foods and snacks. But it gets crowded with long lines. I planned to have fries but decided to skip due to the long lines. So, bring your own snacks and enjoy their chilled beers. Nicer on weekend with love music.

Great place to walk and hang out! We hit up Rippers and we were able to catch the live band and catch the orange noon as well!

Clean, fun and great for the family. Food is pricey, but what do you expert, they need to pay the rent. Drinks are good but can't take out. Cops watch you. Other than that all good.

Yes! Good food options and clean amenities. We ordered arepas and loved them - the service was super efficient and friendly. People at the table next to us ordered beautiful pizzas, said they were super good and went back to order a few more. Super cold beer available ($6 for a can of Modelo). Bathrooms are clean! And a really great DJ set started up around 4pm: disco, house, soul. I could hear him from the water as planes landed at JFK overhead, magical vibes all around. The beach and water were cleaner than at the peak of summer. It was a perfect mid-September day!

Had no idea how cool the Rockaways were. Since Hurricane Sandy, the place has seen a rejuvenation like none other, and this little seaside gem is a food court with great options, beers, and music. The views of course are paradise.

Beautiful beach with a large selection of local food vendors. Clean, clear water and sand(for the most part). Great spot to have a picnic, swim, bike or just to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Fresh food awaits you beachside if you're willing to shell out the cash. I was even able to find gluten-free food for my son. The stuff at each booth was friendly and attentive. My daughter got a spicey salmon poke bowl (Hawaiian), my son got an arepa and yucca fries, we also got a box water and I got a scoop of ice cream. The total for a everything was about $40. There is a place to sit and I saw many families who brought a picnic lunch. We are just not that organized. Pro tip: bring your most powerful bug spray because the flies bite you while you're ordering. They hurt so bad. The only time they're not bothering you is when you're in the water.

Always have gone to Rockaway Beach in the summer, they have bathrooms and sprinklers to clean yourself afterwards which is good and you can enjoy the beach with your friends and family.

Love the beach there! Clean and spacious. I prefer this beach to Brighton Beach because it gets less crowded (Rockaway is pretty far). You can reach it by subway (which is what I recommend if you're living in the heart of Brooklyn) or ferry.
