The views are stunning. Crab meadow is a unique seaside community. Charming.

A bit packed today but calm clean waters. Knocked a star off as there were some people smoking y the sunbathers.

Great views of Connecticut, town has been lacking in clean up. While you constantly see town trucks and police cars sitting in the parking lot no one has addressed the massive over flow of garbage at the few cans available. Pizza boxes blowing all over, cups, plates ect.

Always a great day to come here with something for everyone. Big playground for the kids and a pizza place or sit down restaurant with great views. Only negative is the sand is filled and with rocks broken shells and often seaweed that makes going on the water not a pleasurable without shoes. If you just want to sit by the calm water with a group of people then this place is for you. We come here often because there are a lot of ammeneties for the family.

This beach is beautiful and used to be a frequent spot of mine as a teen. But when I went the sand was itchy and bugs were eating me and my bf alive. You'd think the town or manager would do more to clean and preserve it. We had to leave early because it was unbearable. I still love this beach but I won't go back

Beautiful stretch of sandy beach on Long Island's north shore. Good restaurant, and a covered pavillion for rain-protected picnicking. Playground for kids. Plenty of parking. And fine sunrise views.

My old place to hang out. Facing the Long Island sound. Interesting views. Coarse sand, rocks, lots of of sea wildlife. Can get quite windy. Kind of a party beach. Love it. When I was young, I would bring my Labrador there. Her name was Lady. Lady loved this stretch of rugged beach. Rip Lady.

A lovely quaint beach. Plenty of places to sit or walk around. They have picnic tables and a small playground for children. There are also beautiful views in all directions. Not too crowded but large enough to hold many visitors. Not smooth sand, so wear flip flops or shoes but a lovely walk. There is also a formal restaurant/bar and pizza stand on premise in case you get hungry! Really enjoyed my time here.

One of the better beaches in a town with a dozen or so good beaches. Add beautiful sunsets to the equation. And a restaurant and covered pavilion. A big problem is that the restrooms are generally closed! I realize there is a lack of staff to do the regular cleaning of bathrooms, but what's a beachgoer to do when the time comes? On second thought - don't answer that question!

Very enjoyable beach. Cozy size, had a playground, facilities, restaurant right next to it. Not crowded and there was a nice mix of families, couples and solitary Beach goers. It is a rocky, north shore beach but it was great to go and chill out (and take some pics)

Really nice town of Huntington beach if you are a resident. $40 for season sticker. Very easy parking. Large, real restaurant with outside waitress service.

Usually when we go to Crab Meadow Beach it’s clean and quiet we went recently and there was garbage floating in the water garbage overflowing in the trash cans, loud music, large groups of people making lots of noise and only one lifeguard during a holiday weekend. And five employees in the booth to get into the beach. So disappointing. Especially when you pay $40 for a sticker. Please get your act together crabmeadow Beach.

4th of July was the most crowded I ever seen this beach. Otherwise, it's usually quiet. Either way, one of my favorite places on LI

Lots of horseflies. Had to constantly swat them away. Not like the beach can do a lot about it, but it made a pleasant trip to a nice beach and turned it into a not as great experience.

The most beautiful beach in Huntington. Must go with your loved ones. Has a cute cafe along the beach. Couple of scenic spots around here.

Best place on the north shore to see the sun set in the summer.

Great place to go, I gave 4 stars, only because there are biting flies all over, where you got bitten becomes so itchy and swollen.

Beautiful north shore beach with a playground and fantastic Italian food with a bar right on the sand. What more do you want in life??

Very nice facilities. The water was chock full of seaweed and other stuff, though.

Nice beach and playground. Like all North Shore beaches, it's very rocky.

We come to this beach for alot of events/birthday parties. The beach is nice, parking is easy. A nice playground for the kids and a great picnic area with bbq grills. During the summer you can reserve them if you are having an event/party but after summer it is first come first serve. It's nice that they also have a restaurant right at the beach. I hate that the water is so far down the beach and you have to step on jagged rocks and crab shells to get to it. After finally getting down there with your feet bleeding the water is pretty gross. I would not come here for a beach day.

I loved it, but my husband didn’t. There’s a playground, basketball court, and volleyball net there! My husband didn’t like that the water was shallow several yards into the shore line (he wants the option to quickly return to shore if a shark were to come by 😆), he thought there was too much algae, and he didn’t like the red and white smoke towers as part of the view. I felt the water was clear enough and kid friendly because it wasn’t too deep.

A nice North Shore beach to kayak or paddleboard from. Also a great place for an afternoon lunch that is right on the beach.

A lovely place that is easily accessible. Playground for kids on the beach close to the water. Gentle tides. However, a very rocky beach. Cost for parking seemed high.

Love this place. Keeps me cool even in 100 degree weather. Nice breeze. Good to grab a drink or Italian food at La Casa Cafe. Great place to bring kids - kid swim area and playground with lifeguard

We highly recommend this spot. A beauty of a beach! Gorgeous sunsets and plenty of beach combing. Nearly perfect sand and not overcrowded. Our kind of place!!

Great town beach. Boardwalk, playground, shallow water for swimming. Like all north shore beaches, a bit rocky but water is always calm and at low tide kids like to look for hermit crabs in the rocks. Patio restaurant serving pizza, drinks, and ice cream is a nice amenity as well. Town residents, with parking pass, only. Day pass isn't worth it and non-residents aren't permitted this summer - they pay a high fee in summers when allowed.

We went in mid-September on a weekday. There were very few people, we almost had the beach to ourselves. Very nice beach, not too rocky. Plenty of place to run and have fun. The water was relatively shallow and calm, great for young children. Overall, amazing few hours to relax and chill. No concessions at this time of year and open to everyone. In season it is restricted to town residents. Would definitely return.
