So beautiful! I visited the garden in the winter time and as expected, didn’t see much. I visited this summer on a nice sunny Sunday afternoon in June and it was stunning!! It wasn’t very busy and it was pretty big, so a lot of different areas to see. The rose garden was amazing and had so many different types of roses, all different colors. Walking around the garden there were many different paths to take with gazebos, bridges, and different plants to see. At the ponds there were a lot of turtles and small fish too. Absolutely beautiful!

We didn't expect much from Clark Botanic Gardens because they looked so small on the map. But the place is absolutely charming! Lovely meandering trails with both meadow and wooded environments. Spent an hour there and probably didn't see half the place. Benches throughout invite you to sit down and take in the serene beauty. There's even a small rose garden and an apiary. Can't wait to go back.

This is a small-ish, cozy garden/park filled with a variety of flowers and trees. There are multiple sections for you to explore, including a couple of streams leading to the ponds. The bigger pond is filled with small fish and turtles, and ducks and geese frequently visit. You can get really close to them and take some great pictures. There are lots of benches for you to rest, but be aware of all the mosquitoes in the summer time. You can explore this garden in less than an hour, and there is no entry fee. Note that it is part of the Reciprocal Gardens, so your membership from another garden is valid here. Make sure to visit the gift shop, as they have lots of great items available for purchase.

Beautiful garden. Came here on a chilly/ windy day. But still was delighted to see this hidden gem. Still needs work, & directions for paths would be nice. The pond needs a bit cleaning up. But enjoyed walking in the paths and exploring. Tulips, cherry blossoms, turtles, etc, so much beauty here. There's sitting areas. There's a restroom. There's a nice parking lot. Place closes at 6pm. Highly recommend.

This Garden is a joy to visit and we stayed longer than planned. You only need about an hour or two to fully explore this botanic Garden, but you can definitely stay longer to relax when it is not crowded. We went on memorial day and it was not crowded. We found both ponds interesting and spent more time by the one with the Koi/Goldfish. The small maze is fun to get lost in for little kids and can keep you busy for a few minutes. There are lots if plants and wildlife to see. We were surprised by the Quail enclosure. They are raising them to be released to help control the tick population in parks in Nassau. Little kids would really enjoy seeing these little baby birds.

It’s beautiful and has bees, flowers and large spiders and webs. There are what look like dragon fruit and the lakes had lily pads. Most of the paths are gravel so don’t wear heel sandals like I did lol

Very beautiful garden, spring visit and it’s green and a lot of flowers already after a cold winter. Great garden to come in family and bring children to appreciate nature. I love it. I hope next time in summer to be more beautiful than it is this May.

I love this place, it has very unique and very beautiful flowers and lots of wildlife like rabbits in every corner of the path and crystal clear water, I would definitely come here if you want some place to calm down and unwind from a busy day of work or school.

Decent place. Could be nicer. A lot of dried flowers and plants that needed some serious watering. Not sure why they don't have a sprinkler system. No entrance fee and there are benches throughout that you could sit and chat for a while.

It is nice park, cozy to sit on their benches and enjoy the view, the pond and the ducks, many kind of roses and other flowers. You can enjoy reading your book and lovely nature and bird's singing. You can also many kind of souvenirs in their interesting shop and some times there is a plant sale.

Nice and well maintained botanical garden that makes it a great place for a pleasant stroll or a photoshoot. It has a parking lot, but both, the park and the parking lot are not big so, I guess, it could get crowded during the weekends. Weekday morning would be a perfect time to visit.

I really need to get here more often. I think it might be helpful if they had directional signs pointing you in the direction of the gift shop, rest rooms, apiary, etc. We were wandering around the paths not knowing where we were headed. Other than that, this place is a little jewel and we are lucky to have it.

This is a very nice botanical garden. The size is just right for a nice walking experience. I went at the right time of year for all the plants to be in bloom. I went in April which I would recommend. The display by the entrance was a beautiful display of tulips.

This is an amazing place. Super well maintained and tons of signage. Everything is labeled. That's hard work. There is also a really cool apiary. I can't wait to go in the spring. It's free with free parking. I couldn't even find a place to give a donation.

A beautiful free botanic garden funded by the town of North Hempstead. There is a large free parking lot as well as plenty of street parking on the main road outside. Some highlights include the huge tulip patch near the entrance, the very gneiss rock garden, the dwarf conifer garden and the pond in the back of the garden.

The garden is a hidden local gem! It has a wonderful variety of plants, trees, and shrubs. It's a great place to come for a relaxing walk or to bring the family for a little outing. It's also a nice place to take some gorgeous photos.

Clark Garden is one of our favorite spots for a nice daytime stroll! We went for a walk over the weekend and were happy to find so many beautiful tulips and other flowers in bloom. There was also one cherry blossom tree still in full bloom! The parking lot up front makes for a convenient trip too.

A very nice area to walk through. Lots of flowering trees and there are also several pounds and streams. There is a gazebo tucked away in the back of the gardens. There are also lots of bee boxes set up for honey bees. There is a bathroom and a large parking lot.

Beautiful botanical garden to spend quality time with family and friends. Very well maintained. Many varieties of trees, plants, flowers and water bodies.

Nice place to go to walk around for a bit and take you away from the hustle and bustle of the everyday. The staff there was very friendly and informative. It would probably be better to go during spring where things would be in bloom.

Usually there are more unusual plants over at Clark Botanical Gardens, but it's nice they are open until 6 pm. No butterflies were out when I was there, guess it's too early in the season for that.

This is a hidden gem in Long Island. I have never heard of this place until a friend brought me here. While I may have missed the pond being full of vibrant lily pads, the flowers in bloom and sights in general were gorgeous!
