I went here on a day trip on my boat with a date and I really wanted her to have a good time so I found this place on Google and couldn't be happier with my choice. Steve, the guy that runs this place was waiting at our slip with his lovely assistant ready to help us dock and was incredibly helpful with his knowledge about the area and activities which helped make our date perfect. I was amazed to see that aside from being the dock master, Steve is also the bartender, repair man and general do everything guy in the area. He was literally everywhere at the same time and we were beginning to suspect there was more than one of him. LOL. I can't praise Steve and his amazing staff enough for helping make our day trip the best day ever. Thanks Steve from Devin and Stephanie (Your new best friends! )

We love docking and staying at Sailors Haven. Recently we experienced a huge amount of young people coming over on the ferry with no masks and visiting a large boat after the last ferry of the day. They congregated on the docks and partied with no masks and left very late on a water taxi. This is no longer a safe environment for us to stay in. Very disappointed in the lack of supervision.

My favorite place on earth. Quite and naturally beautiful. Sunrises are spectacular. Don't come here if your looking for "night life".

Probably my favorite place to take the boat. The gift shop is stocked with necessities, branded clothing and snacks, including ice cream. The visitors center provides maps of the trails and the park, as well as many learning displays and a shallow pool with critters. Great park to spend a beautiful day!

The walking trails that leave from here are very cool. The staff working in the visitor center are very nice and do tours of the walkways fairly regularly. Their are some sitting areas down the trails in the shade of the forest. So I recommend if you want to explore the dunes doing it on a cool day.

Steve the guy that runs the whole place is an awesome dude. He and his staff are very accommodating and will go above and beyond to make your trip to SH a wonderful time. And they just got their liquor license so they are pouring some nice frosty drinks!

Nice quiet beach that you take a ferry to get to

Don’t go there unless you like to see what rude female soldiers look like. The location is wrong which only Permitted cars can go there.

We’ve been here a few times. It’s amazing. Steve is so attentive and seems to genuinely care about his guests. Yesterday we were at the beach and someone told him there was an alarm going off on my boat. He left the marina and walked to the beach and found me to tell me something was going on. You don’t forget service like that.
