Very nice public park with so many things to do. A lot of recreation & sport facilities. Children's playground was very nice. Hiking trails available. There is a swimming pool, iceskating, ice hockey arena, golf course, and different field areas for different sports. Big space for Public parking. There's a doggy park as well.

Every Wednesday June 2 to Dec 29 in the parking lot of Christopher Morley their is the Roslyn Farmers Market. They have so many good vendors. My favorites are the vegetable and fruit stands, Orwashers Breads and NY Gourmet Coffee. Please come and support these small business they have great products!

Went for a walk recently here and the forest walk is shaded by trees but there are ups and downs that might prove troublesome for those with stamina issues. There is plenty of parking area and am looking forward to the Farmers Market held every Wednesday, from 7am till 1pm. The Farmers market has everything from fish to vegetables, baked goods, a pasta stall, and a stall or two for vegans and gluten free, and a gourmet coffee stall manned by Java Josh 1( coconut, almond milks to add to your Java!). On your way to work Wednesdays, driving up Searingrown Rd, stop off and have a hot or cold gourmet coffee to go, or a selection of many exotic teas. The market runs from June through November. Bring cash not credit cards. There's also an ice cream and soda/water vending truck to keep the kids happy. Have not used the outdoor pool, with separate kiddie pool. Outdoor full court basketball courts, outdoor and indoor tennis, small miniature golf installation for young kids, outdoor children's playground area, and a well shaded picnic area with grills for charcoal cooking, and an adult nine hole golf course next door. A bit of something for everyone including your pooch at the dog park/walk. Soft drinks can be had at several vending machines. Also, an outdoor ice skating rink is available during the winter months. Having just visited the Farmers Market for first time in 2019, I am including some new stalls and photos.

Birds sing, trees grow, flowers bloom, squirrels run. What else do you need for a good holiday?! A great place for a quiet walk in the morning. Huge parking. There is also a place for walking dogs. and birding!

Good weekly market. About 20 to 25 vendors. Shout out to Terra nut crunch. Saw several food vendors with lunch food but market closes at noon. All in all good stop for locals.

I would never bring my dog here ever again. Although, it may look like the dogs in the videos are playing nicely it doesn’t show you what happen behind the scenes. I can’t blame the dogs for this. Mainly the people are to blame. If your dog isn’t friendly especially with other dogs just don’t bring them into a dog park and this is a reoccurring issue at this park. If you’re referring to the dog park, don’t come here.

Huge park with good walking/run trail but everything is old and outdated. It definitely needs some major updates and renovations but it will be sufficient to bring your family for a couple of hours. The kids playground is very large with many slides and jungle gyms for different ages but no swings which is a huge let down.

Pools are closed but it's a nice place to just walk around. The hidden fire pit looks enticing.

Have only been here for tennis. The hard courts are nice but the clay can use a bit of TLC. Looking to play some golf here and see how the course is.

This is probably one of my favorite parks to walk around in the area, it's easily accessible and has some nice trails and facilities, though in areas the paved trails could use some maintenance.

Had to stop there our tour bus to the city Ny botanical. Gardens broke down but it was a great day after all

Large quiet park to have the kids tire themselves out. It has plenty of things available, including a large playground and outdoor pool during the summer.

Love this playground for the 3 sets of variety of age levels that are inclusive. Nice basketball and fields to play on. Sometimes there is golf clubs to borrow and play mini golf too

Visited this park for the first time yesterday. As a new resident of Nassau (former resident of NYC), I was expecting the facilities to be in better condition but was quite surprised at how everything look worn and run down, including the children's playground which had holes in the rubber turf. Perhaps I'll be back in the spring/summer but everything could use a new coat of paint and/or a good power washing.

We enjoy going to this park. Very family friendly. They have 1-2mile trail, pool (pool is already closed for the season), tennis and basketball courts, park for kids and dogs. Dogs are only permitted in the dog park and on one of the trails (please curb your dogs and keep the park clean). On wednesdays they have a farmer's market going on until November, I believe.

Apart from the rude, entitled, & cult-like pickleball players, the park brings a lot of good people in. Playground area is currently being renovated. Lot of money goin in to fix this park up. Thanks Nassau County
