One of the best beaches out east! Beautiful, big, and secluded, bathrooms far and need a 4x4 to get back and forth to the beach and bathrooms but it is well worth it if you are looking for seclusion in the heat of summer. If you get there with a 4x4 proceed to back of the parking lot and deflate your tires. Then unto the sand about a mile into the beach. Arrive early to set up camp and plan to stay into the late hours of the night, set a fire pit and roast marshmallows on the other side of the beach where you can enjoy calmer waters and gorgeous sunset views. There is a snack shop / bar closer to the restrooms where the crowds like to hang out. Parking lot is limited. This place is well maintained and, it is by far the cleanest ny beach I’ve been to. Let’s do our part to keep our beaches clean for all to enjoy.

Breathtaking, pure clean white beaches, vast amount of sea shells, Elite group of people who have trucks with 4 wheeling permits. Must get here early or you will be regretting how far you have to walk to get your spot. We were lucky enough to even see dolphins splashing and playing in the water near us.

A Suffolk County Parks beach with parking, bathrooms, food hut, fishing, swimming & camping. It can get very crowded in the Summer, but it is an off season gem. If you do not have 4 wheel drive and a permit.. do not go past the parking lot. You will get stuck. Park in the lot, and take a walk West to the inlet. Dogs are permitted, but must remain on the leash.

Clean, drove my Jeep to the end, followed the path to the beach. Waves are always fun, not crowed soft sand. The main part has clean bathrooms, and Tiki Joe's for food and drinks. Will go there more often

Great beach. I go there all year long and is a beautiful long stretch of beach and usually has some good waves for surfing too. I would love to see the parking lot repaved in the near future though as it's gotten pretty bad. I wish everybody during the summer would stop leaving their trash, plastic toys etc. Just leave the beach with everything you came with. There are plenty of garbage cans around to throw things out. Please help keep the beach clean and stay OFF the dunes!

Ocean surf and white sand. Smaller beach. $18.00 to park with no reentry access if you leave and want to return same day. If you leave you have to pay another $18.00 to get back in. Bathrooms are air conditioned; snack bar and a small "surf" shop on premise. Worth the drive.

This park is the best when it comes to off-roading and harbor seal watching. You can do seal watching for absolutely free and most environmentally friendly ways by not disturbing them. You do not have to walk miles on the beach to see Harbor Seals putting up a show. Rather, you walk only less than half a mile, and you will see Harbor seals. These seals may be well aware of people around them, and they come in good number close to shore. You need a binocular to see them. I have captured a few videos with my cell phone to give an idea how close they are to the shore. As far as off-roading is concerned, this is paradise if you have 4 × 4 with the permit. Burma road is long, and it ends at Moriches inlet. Beach was clean and well kept. Please keep it that way. Driving to this park, the speed limit in West Hampton is 25 MPH. Keep it that way, or else you will get ticketed.

This was a tough one to rate. I almost gave it 3 stars. Beautiful surroundings, a bay on one side the ocean on the other. White soft sand no shoes needed. Total beach camping. No hook-ups at all. You need to air down all tires to get onto your campsite. Dump station and water down the road which means if you are here for a week and have to dump or get water you need to air up your tires each time. Outer beach permit and green key needed. Daily garbage pickup . We had a kinda cloudy rainy week and there was not much to do close by. Be careful driving down Dune Road 25 mph go slow. I gave this place 4 stars just for the amazing views and beach. Finally the campground only has 34 sites difficult to get one.

Pictures don't do this beach justice! The water is absolutely beautiful! If I told my friends I was on a beach in Florida, they would believe me lol the water is super clear and on a nice day, has teal swirls in it

Parking is limited. The beach is beautiful. We went for the intention to watch seal in March. Didn’t see seal but enjoyed a long walk along the shore. It is a popular seal-watching area in winters.

Beautiful beach, inexpensive to park. We got there early so it wasn't crowded. It became more crowded as the day went on, but it wasn't an issue. Can't wait to go back!

Beautiful well-kept with music showers and other amenities. Great beaches. Good prices amidst the expensive real estate of West Hampton Beach. Senior citizen Suffolk county green card get 50% discount on parking before 4:00 p.m. free after that.

Best ocean beach. Have to arrive early on the weekends or will be turned around due to no parking. Soft sandy beach. Has a concession building, ok food, great drinks, no chair rentals. Usually has a live band. During the week they have nightly dinner specials and live music.

A very nice place for relaxation after a stressful and busy week. It was the perfect place for a short family gateway for Summer weekend. Parking was as expensive as $18 per car, but could we expect a budget price in Westhampton area? Restrooms were very pretty clean. Lifeguards here are strong professionals as we have the chance to see them on their real duties. Visiting this beach for a second time, from Brooklyn.

Gorgeous beach area, took a minute to get there cuz it’s 30 mph hole way and everyone drives around 15 mph.. ate food at the food shack and the portions were huge.. way bigger than I expected! If your looking for a lax beach day, this place will be perfect

Great day and evening at the beach. The beach is clean and cared for. There is live music after 5 most weekends and you can get a cocktail or beer. Reasonable and good!

Great place, super beach, clean, sunny. Bring your own shade, umbrella, etc. $18 for parking, plenty of space. Not cold water, strong tide, undertow! Plenty of surfing

Great in and out of season. If you have the County 4x4 pass, the outer beach offers an incredible place to visit! In season snack bar, lifeguards etc.
