Amazing relaxing park, great for hiking. The 6 miles trail around the lake is picturesque and peaceful.

Beautiful place. I have hiked the lake trails several times but never completed the loop. This time we went for all six miles hike and we saw the historic district. Very nice and we'll kept. This is one of my favorite places on Long Island.

Need to get away and reconnect to nature? This is a perfect place to do it. Great trails run around the edge of the lake and plenty of wildlife to observe. The southwest corner of the trail along the walkways is really amazing as well as the north east by the old mill

Lots of swans in the water, easy to find parking, nice views. Includes a dog park. You can do a walk all around the lake which *I'm told* is like 10 miles or there's a shorter walk which is about 1.5 miles. The trails aren't paved but they're not rough either.

Blydenburgh Park is a wonderful park to go bird watching and its also dog friendly as long as the dogs are on leash with the exception of the dog park. Blydenburgh Park is also a wonderful park to go for a nice walk and there's a huge pond

Grew up here. Don't try breaking in. Loudest alarm I ever heard. We were kids being kids. It is beautiful but do they really have to put a no fishing sign in the middle of the ponds sandy opening? Totally ruins the authenticity. I saw somebody rip it out and throw it in the bushes. I thanked him but Smithtown has no control over county and this is a county park, not town.

Nice place for a hike, dog friendly and we came across a few peoples on horses. We hiked 2.5 miles total, up near the horse stables, the dog went for a swim in the stream. It was hot and humid. It was July on Long Island! Humid? We had a nice hike

Long but one of the best on Long Island. Closer to the water the better. Pas the dog park, down to the water, make a right. Great trail!

First time hiking the loop, and it was awesome! Next time I will spend more time checking out the house, and old mill.

👍 Beautiful beach and very quiet compared to other places. It's not overly crowded and the water isn't too deep (perfect for kids). There's a raft in the water where you can chill or jump off, they provide outdoor showers/bathrooms, a life guard hut, and gorgeous sunsets. There are multiple entrances...
