If you want to have an enjoyable walk during the months of November thru April 1st., then this would be ideal. During the other months, you need to be a resident of Greenwich or pay a fee . The views are beautiful with NYC in the distance. Snack bar and public restrooms. One of my favorite places for walks with views of the sound.

Horrible experience! we were denied entry for not making a booking (website only available at 9 am monday through friday, days you are obviously NOT going to the beach) and were forced to leave, despite having walked 4 miles in the sun to get there, totally ruined our day. Pretentious locals keeping people out made all the more obvious by the fact that none of those geniouses had the idea to keep a box by the entrance to let people pay the $9 fee. AND to top it all off, the "person" applying this policy was PROUD of himself for turning people away and ruining their days. Despicable.

Amazing place for a walk, it is ammazing what wealthy areas have, becuase it is well taken care of. The dogs runninng around is cute and the atmosphere pf the whole park is relaxing, a great way to stretch out after a long week! Pay attention to park rules before you come, it isnt always open…

Beautiful place if you live there. Otherwise it's over $60 to get in. Definitely an exclusive beach designed to keep outsiders out. out of towners are not welcome and that's how they like it.

Spent my birthday here last year. Lovely spot. You can see the city! It was hazy that day so we could barely see the city but it was fun seeing the lights and bridges in the distance. Lots of boats going by. Sand is a little rough but there was a ton of parking, so those cancel out a bit. Expensive as heck but I'm not from round here so maybe that's normal.

Was hoping to check out this area while in CT for the weekend before business meetings. I didn't even make it in. I was told by the security guard that I needed a pass and was basically told to leave. I was not offered the option of purchasing a ticket so I left. After researching on my own, I found I could purchase a one time entry ticket for $50. Not worth the money as it was raining that day. Not sure it would be worth $50 if it wasn't raining. All I wanted to do was drive through and check it out. Seems like they don't really want out of town residents at their parks. What a total bummer.

Please note: May-September entry is restricted to Greenwich Residents or non-residents with a ticket. Non-resident vehicles will need a ticket as well. Tickets can be purchased online and in person, check the town of Greenwich website for details. Wintertime (October-April) the park is open to everyone.

Well maintained and clean beach with ample space for evening walks. Generally, entry is chargeable from May.

I came here twice, not even to go into the park but to turn my car around since the road before it is so narrow and this big old security guy immediately starts telling me I can't park where I was. I wasn't even parking and it was clear I was turning around and waiting for traffic to clear. The second time I was there to do the same thing but was able to do it quickly and as soon as the guard saw me pull in he came out of his booth. This really just gave me a bad vibe from this place and they are not welcoming in any way.

This should not be called a park. This should be identified as a private space. You aren’t welcome if you aren’t a member of this town and need to show a town permit to be let in. Boooo

Enjoyed the stroll along the beach as well as the trails. Great dog beach off season. You have to be a resident or pay a fee to enter this park in summer/fall.

Nice park. I have coming here for about 60 years beginning with my parents and sisters. There has been a lot changes since the 1960s. This year was the first time I saw deer and I got a special surprise. I watch an eagle having breakfast. It is a good thing the animals are coming back.

Great location, HORRIBLE STAFF at entrance. We were directed to park off to the side in order to buy tickets online and when we tried doing so another elderly man told us we could not park there and admitted that he yelled at other staff so when we asked where we could park he told us to drive back to town and also did not mention that tickets were inaccessible during the weekends. So rude and mean, would’ve gave a higher rating if staff was nicer. Went to a different beach in Stamford instead

We used to take kids here for their friends birthday lunches. Views of the sound are really beautiful and there is also a little beach and a few very nice walking paths around the park

A perfect winter dog beach experience ! So many dog friendly beach walkers. And around the point to Flat Neck offers stunning sunset views.

Lovely local beach. I think folks need to do a better job making sure trash gets put in bins, but overall we are so lucky to have the Point so close.

πŸ‘πŸ‘ One of the nicest beaches north of Virginia. So clean and well maintained. Water is so warm, calm, and shallow. Excellent for children. Doesn’t have a boardwalk, but the quality of the beach is better than anything in NJ. No comparison. Best feature of the beach is the shaded areas. They have tw...

πŸ‘πŸ‘ Excellent park with huge veriety of jungle gym equipment that's much more imaginative than most. The rock formations make it natural and a tad more varied than a simple park. Everything seems up to date and the bathrooms are also adequate.
