The greatest local lake around. The beach is wonderful. They even have a life guard. There are walking trails, sitting area, bar-b-q area, play ground, and more. Then you have the best quaint little town of Lakehurst to window shop, get ice cream, pizza, etc. I love this town!

It's my son and my favorite place to go swimming and fishing. We also take our inflatable boat out on the lake to fish, and we love it. The crowd is mostly friendly. Once in a great while, there's a bad apple. I love how friendly the lifeguard is and the police that patrol the lake. The crowd mostly consists of families relaxing, which is great. Lastly, the sunset can't be beat. I love Horicon Lake.

First time walking our dog here and many people at the water's edge swimming and having fun. Beautiful lake and small trails along the woods and water..a treasure in Lakehurst!

So glad to have found this little gem after a horrible experience at Harry wright near by where it was a very unwelcoming vibe with unorganized capacity rules..their one customer recommended we head over here and we are happy we did it was great!

Such a beautiful place free swimming for the kids with a lifeguard provided. The lake is absolutely huge. There’s nature trails and walks, absolutely stunning and free.

Nice little lake for family fun. They had picnic tables and restrooms. The water was okay, it had a bunch of algae and stained our bathing suits.
