This bus company picked up my daughter and her entire class for a school trip and on there way back home the bus had broken down on Rt80 just as rush hour started to kick in. I called the office to ask for an update on what was being done to get all the kids off the highway and was immediately hung up on. After calling back 3 times on the third call a woman picked up and told me to loose the number and hung back up.The phone staff is so unprofessional and rude especially when there bus has over 30 kids in it just to hang up on a parent trying to find out what was going on. Everything turned out fine with the kids with not one word from the bus company. If I could go negative stars I would

Very rude. I called to render services and as soon as the gentleman answered, I asked "Hi is this Vanderhoof " he immediately hung up. I called three additional calls in case the called dropped. The man answered the third call and when I mentioned I was inquiring about rendering service but I was hung up on, he very rudely stated " I'm not looking for business".. There's your answer folks, no business here apparently.

Unbelievable bus experience!! Driver polite ,helpful and extremely careful!! The bus was so clean and beautiful! The ride is the most comfortable experience I have ever had on a bus!! This bus company I will recommend to all my friends!

Our charter bus service was great all 3 drivers were very professional in their interactions as well as their driving. The buses were clean and comfortable. Buses arrived slightly ahead of their scheduled time which shows they were fully prepared and ready for our charter.

We had a wedding in July and our original bus company cancelled on us in May. We called up Vanderhoof and they had availability for third of the price and the buses had AC. The drivers were incredible & accommodating all while being polite. If you are getting married in the New Jersey area, I’d highly recommend reaching out.

Such nice folks here! My daughter left a bag on the bus and they went above and beyond to help us get it back.

This company was very accommodating to our requests and changes and responded to each inquiry we made. They were on time and professional and we will use this company again next year for our annual trip.

Needed to rent luxury bus for a wedding When I drove up To the building I noticed all buses lined up ready to go When inside met with the staff Eddie & Stephanie. We went over the details they showed me the inside of buses they looked ( very nice) and around the property it was like museum tour ! Reason being the company has been family owned and operated since 1918 with this said I made my Reservation and waited for that very special day and when it arrived the day was spectacular.They met all my expectations and more. Great Family Business!

I used this company for a Bronx Zoo trip for my church and they were professional throughout my entire experience. Both buses arrived a few minutes early and the drivers were very kind. The condition of each bus was also impressive. I recommend using Vanderhoof and will use them again for future tips.

I did not like the way the bus driver was acting he was being very rude to the staff at my church cause we were going to the beach and he would not bring us to the beach.We had to call the company to make him drive us there.Also we was driving very slow when he was driving.

Traveled with a Vanderhoof bus to a sporting event with my team. Excellent service, the bus was clean and the staff was great. Anyone who needs a bus for any occasion give these guys a call.

Went on a family trip to wildwood and every single time the bathroom door opened, there was a strong odor resignations the entire trip. Was promised by owner that we would be given a freshly clean brush in great condition however this was completely the opposite.

First of all the bus was an hour and 15 minutes late. After a 10 day trip all we wanted to do was get home and a late bus delayed that operation greatly. Also the bus smells incredibly musty. It's straight out of 1971. Surprised it doesn't have a record player so we can jam out to Led Zeppelin lV which was conceived the same day as this bus. There are bugs everywhere no outlets and I'm gonna check my self for bed bugs when I go home. Would not recommend
