My fiance proposed with his great-great-grandmother's ring. It was a beautiful piece, but just a quarter size too big for me. We came here to see what our options were for resizing, and they suggested sizing beads, or "shots", and they also polished the ring for me. It fits me perfectly now, and the polishing they did made the ring look completely new and gorgeous!! We're so happy we found this place and will definitely return in the future!

Joe and his whole staff are amazing. My husband and I walked in back in 2018 in hopes to customize my engagement ring. We spoke with a woman who highly complimented them, saying she lives out of state and whenever she is in the area returns to them. Once we met with Joe for the first time I knew we would forever use Argyle Jewelers. Joe made us feel so comfortable, like family. They did a phenomenal job creating my engagement ring. We purchased my wedding band with them and after a complication with the band they generously went above and beyond to meet my needs. I have returned countless of times and whenever I enter the beautiful shop I am greeted with smiles and amazing customer service. Joe made a beautiful wedding band for my husband and made a stunning ring for my mother in law with his estate collection collaborated with a piece from a broach that belonged to her mother. Michele recently helped my husband and I pick out pieces for each other to gift for our wedding anniversary. We live in Astoria Queens now and will always remain loyal to Argyle Jewlers. I see some negative reviews but please don’t let them deter you from shopping with Argyle Jewlers. They always go above and beyond and their custom work is AMAZING !!

Written by my husband: I went to Argyle to have a custom bridal set made for my wife (girlfriend at the time). Joe was so easy to work with. He listened to me when I was explaining what I was looking for, and was open to all of the ideas that I brought up. He is also really knowledgeable and explained everything about the diamonds that were available. He was never pushy or trying to oversell, and he helped me create something perfect that was in my price range. Everything was ready really quickly which was great. As our wedding day came closer, my wife brought in a family heirloom, a blue cocktail ring, and Joe restored it back to its original beauty. We also purchased my wedding band from there. There was a great selection of men’s rings and I found exactly what I was hoping for. We both highly recommend Argyle Jewelers. Joe and all of the staff there are great.

Over the top wonderful!!! I recently got engaged and my ring was from a different jeweler and it was a horrible Diamond and my fiancé got extremely taken advantage of. We came into our local village jewelry store Argyle. Michelle took care of all my needs and replaced my stone and it looks like a million bucks. Beyond so so happy! We will be going back for all our needs.

Argyle had the best selection of the few jewelers we visited when looking for our wedding bands. Everyone was so pleasant to work with and the sizing/ordering was done so quickly. They also do a complimentary same-day cleaning/dipping of your engagement ring when you buy your wedding band, even if you didn't get it there. Could not be happier!

We were celebrating our 15th wedding anniversary. Argyle Jewelers was recommended to us. Everyone was wonderful. They made me feel so special. The people who work here are extremely nasty and unprofessional… I actually was brought to tears in the store by the way I was spoken to and yell at by the jeweler himself … I wish I had it recorded and on video for all of you to hear because I’m still in shock by the way I was treated as a customer…. One of the prongs was bent on my engagement ring after 8 years of wearing it everyday … I went there the last week of June and they told me metal can not be bent back soo I would need all new prongs on my ring for my diamond to sit which would cost 250… less then a month and 1/2 later one of the prongs were completely bent again… I was upset because I just spent 250 for it to get fixed and felt the new prongs should have held up a lot longer than a month … when I went there the workers looked annoyed and the jeweler came out yelling (not even exaggerating) at me saying it was something I did and that my ring is filthy and unkept and that he bent the prong back ( soo basically here you go and bye ) I said I though metal couldn’t be bent back that’s why I paid for all the prongs to be replaced by you in the first place and when I looked at my ring to see the prong that he “fixed” The prong placement wasn’t even correctly placed and even with the rest…he continued to yell at me and even flung my ring down on the counter top … I was brought to tears … I went else where to get my ring fixed was treated ALOT better and they said if you have any problems come back and will fix it no charge ! As a Babylon resident for 16 years I’ll never go back here !

Joe was absolutely wonderful to work with. My engagement ring was from brilliant earth, and I was very disappointed when my fiancé and I went into their showroom in Manhattan to find a wedding band. Argyle was recommended to us from our close friends who Joe had made a custom engagement ring and insert for, so we gave it a shot. Joe was wonderful and patient from day one, saw my vision and helped me create the wedding set of my dreams. He’s very knowledgeable and lets you know what’s possible and what might not be, and he was very accommodating to our budget. I know I did not want to go to a big corporate jeweler company when searching for a ring and was referred by a friend to come here, and I’m extremely happy I did. Dawn and the owner Joe worked with me with such patience and honesty when picking out a lab created engagement ring for my NOW fiancé. She absolutely loves it and said it was perfect. If you're in the market for an engagement ring this place is a MUST. My mom and I came here to shop around for an engagement ring and thought to go to a couple of other jewelers but after we met with Joanne we were absolutely blown away. I had them replace a watch battery. They broke the watch. Rather than offering to repair the damage they suggested I buy a new watch or pay them to repair it-at minimum $100.00 I took it to a reputable jeweler who confirmed that whoever changed the battery damaged the watch I’ll stay away from this store in the future! Repairs are going to cost me $100 plus- but the watch has great sentimental value

I walked in and automatically was greeted with a beautiful welcome. I was concerned walking in with shorts, tee shirt, hat and sneakers... I asked if they repaired chains.. she took a look and went quick in action to get it fixed the correct way. I asked how much and she said think about us during your next visit. I was shocked! My experience with Argyle Jewelers was nothing short of amazing. Joe and his staff were extremely knowledgeable and helped guide me in the right direction. I was stuck on a certain style and ring specification, and I must say they truly delivered. I told them what I was looking for, and the very next day they had it in store for me. They did this with no guarantee that I would purchase this diamond from them nor did they ever attempt to make me feel I had to. I dropped my wedding rings off to be resized and polished. They were done within one week, they are beautiful and fit perfectly. The woman who helped me was absolutely lovely. I highly recommend.
