    Came in for an inspection and was forced to buy new windshield wipers in order to pass inspection. The problem is I replaced them myself 2 months ago and throughly went through everything on the car prior to bringing it in, including the wipers, because I knew something like this would happen. It also was raining this morning and they weren’t cracked and worked perfectly fine. Always find something to fix that wasn’t even broken to begin with. Avoid them like the plague.

    Came here because the staff was friendly. They were putting on new wheels and tires. Staff is still friendly but when they were lifting my car, the lift wasn’t properly under the car. It cracked the passenger side bottom side skirt. The tech had to adjust it. I told the manager and he asked the tech and the tech denied it. I was standing there watching the whole time. Then the tech lied to the manager and said it was under the car but then later came and told me that he couldn’t tell them the truth or he would get in trouble. The right thing for the tech to do would be to acknowledge his mistake and for management to make right of the wrong. Still waiting for a call back to resolve this. I’m hoping they make it right so I can update this review.

    Beware of this shop. They tell you things are wrong when they're not or need parts replaced much sooner than necessary. After repairing something incorrectly, they'll blame you the next day. If you have to take your car to this shop, I hope you know a little about cars so they can't take you to the bank.

    Made an appointment for an alignment at 10am. They said it would be a couple of hours. Called at 3pm and they still didn't get to it. They finally finished at 4:30pm. They were unable to get all the parameters within spec, but he said it should drive better. Use the one in Lindenhurst on Sunrise. I've had much better service.

    Had good amount of work to be done on my car. Check engine light, a window motor wasn’t working, needed an oil change and inspection. Dropped off the keys and an hour later I get a call that my car failed inspection and its gonna cost $37. I failed because the check engine light was on and the window wasn’t working. I was under the assumption they knew the inspection would be done AFTER the repairs were done. Instead they charged me $37 for a failed test, then wanted me to pay for repairs to pass the test, then pay $37 for a second test. Now to see what caused the check engine light, they said it costs $100 to run the diagnostic. Now this takes a mechanic less than 15 seconds to do. Most mechanics do a free diagnostic then charge based on repairs needed. But that’s not the sleaziest part. They ran a diagnostic during the failed inspection. So they already knew what caused the check engine light, they just wanted $100 to tell me what they found. (Luckily the results for the check engine diagnostic were listed on the receipt of the failed inspection) So anyway I declined any further “help” from them, paid for my failed test and left. My usual mechanic was busy today, I stopped at a few other mechanics on the way to Firestone but everyone was busy for the rest of the week. Firestone was the only auto repair shop nearby that was available for walk-ins. Now I know why.

    West Babylon Firestone, never felt more comfortable taking my cars to any repair shop. Under Viren’s management, Patrick, Carlos, Kevin, they are very professional and they care about their customers. Thank you Viren, kudos to you all. I highly recommend West Babylon Firestone.

    I have been bringing my car here for years and I have never had a problem, the staff used to be very friendly. However, my recent experience with the “manager” NESS COSTA (who refused to tell me his last name) was disgusting, he must be new to that site because I have never dealt with him before. He was very very unprofessional, it was hard to believe he can even call himself a manager. He added a diagnostic charge for diagnosing what I already told him was wrong with the car which was over $100, especially when the car was there 2 days prior for a tune up and I told them to please check everything to make sure everything was good. But it needed to be towed right back to them the very next day! You would think he would have some sort of decency to charge me for what was fixed but nope! Never again would I go there after being a customer for years. Disgusted!

    Went for an inspection and oil change. Suddenly I needed new tires and there was additional change of $49 because I didn't have the tire tools in the car. What type of a car place doesn't have a tools to remove and install tires for all types of vehicles?! Unbelievable!!! Funny thing is when I walked in one of the employees was having the same SALES PITCH with some other client on the phone as with me later on. "The tires are very bad and not safe and all of them have to be changed".It this a place where your car gets serviced or where you get scammed into buying new parts? I am beyond disappointed and won't EVER be coming back!!! What it should be a maybe $100 service ended up being $450 service.

    Incredibly fast service for an oil change and the staff, especially Patrick, are amazing. Unlike most mechanics you can tell that they are genuinely caring people and won't try to take advantage of you because of the customer's lack of mechanical know how. Highly recommended!!

    Dropped my car off at 11am yesterday for full brake job, (caliper, pad, rotor, 2 brake hoses) and inspection. After the guys looked over the car and found the control arm was also bad. The company they use to get parts messed up and delivered the wrong parts. So unfortunately they had to keep the car over night. I missed work Got the car back this am at 10 and the mgr was more than apologetic and took a few hundred off bc of the inconvenience, free oil change. went out of his way to make a bad situation at least a bit better.

    Took my fiances leased car in for an inspection. I drove the car a few days earlier to make sure nothing was wrong. It was raining the day I drove it and there was no problem with the wipers. About 30 mins after dropping it off we get a call saying she needs new wipers on the car. I told the man on the phone that I drove the car the other day so I don't see how this could be a problem. When arriving at the store I was greeted with "oh its the guy who doesn't beleive me" in a very rude tone. We went out to see the car and the end of the wiper was cut. Even with the cut on the wiper almost all of the water was being cleared. After this I was told that I had an attitude despite speaking zero words to the man at the counter, Neal. After a third time of him being rude to me I finally said something back and he threatened me for raising my voice in his store. This man is completely out of line. Firestone just lost 2 customers today and I will be canceling my Firestone credit card immediately

    I’ve been coming here for the last couple years. I’m giving it two stars only because Luise is amazing! It was John that was primarily the rude one and for the FIRST TIME. I felt uncomfortable leaving my vehicle here. Had my truck dropped off at 10ish came back at two. Met with oh we might not get it today. I made an appointment with them to slow for my wants. Won’t be coming back.

    The West Babylon FIRESTONE ( 27A) has the most knowledge and PROFESSIONAL team I ever come across. From the management to the extremely knowledgeable Service engineers they shun Ot go unnoticed by Firestone corporate. I have been to many Firestone locations. The team at the West Babylon (27A) outpost are not only professional and knowledgeable.They are friendly and pleasure to speak with. Their store is immaculate.     I’ve been coming here for a long time! This Firestone is very honest and fair. i always wait to the last minute to get my car serviced! When I do finally get around to calling them, they always get me in right away and takes good care of me. Most times the manager takes care of me, I call him V. this man, right here is very professional and extremely helpful. I’ve known him since I lived in Coram many years ago when I moved to West Babylon and I went to firestone he was here. I definitely recommend anyone who has service needs for their car. please check them out You will not be disappointed.

    I’m across the street with a flat at 4:00 they close at 7. I called them to see if after my husband gets here to put my donut on I could bring my car over. I couldn’t even get a word in and the man on the phone started talking over me to say they aren’t taking anymore people today. I wanted to know if they had my tire in stock and would have left it there overnight with a donut on until they could get to me but they lost me as a customer forever

    Excellent staff, very friendly and compassionate. The shop and waiting area was clean. My repairs were done in a timely manner and they didn't try to rip me off with any unnecessary repairs. Excellent experience from beginning to end.

    I went there once and asked if they could replace a brojen headlight. They told it would take two hours. Probably would've charged me two hours of labor to do a five minute job. Sorry but my friend could do it in ten minutes tops

    I usually always bring my car here after I do my suspension work on my cars to get an alignment or to buy tires. They always do an excellent job. What made this experience different? I just did a lift kit on my Jeep and they took there time with it even though it was giving them a little trouble (rust). They test drove after the alignment and the technician was not satisfied and readjusted everything again. Usually most places turn you down once you modify the suspension, but the staff/technicians here are always up for the task. Keep up the good work and thank you!

    Always a Hassel never can get any straight answers from them I feel like they are always giving you the run around and the manger who greats you at the front has the personality of a flea he is rude and extremely unprofessional I'm in the service business and if I acted and treated my customers like he does I'd be fired do your self a favor and get rid of this guy !!!! I'm a long time customer and I really miss Will the old manager he was so friendly and professional !! this new guy is horrible I'll be going to the lindenhurst store from now on

    Have gone twice for tires, and both times V (Virender) and his crew were great. Went last week for a consult to replace 2 rear tires, and he talked to me like a human being. He broke down the prices for me, including all options, and then printed off an estimate for me to take home. No pressure, no sales talk, no scary talk like another garage that had tried to scare me into unnecessary work. I made an appointment to have the work done, and on the day that I thought was my appointment I brought it up, but it turns out I was accidentally a week early. Didn't matter-- they were so professional that they never mentioned it, and they just did what needed to be done. V made a hasty trip to a nearby Firestone to get my tires, they mounted the new tires and did an alignment, and called to say the work was done. Only later when I re-read my paperwork did I realize my mistake and profusely apologized. They otherwise never let on that I was a week early. Top notch customer service. And this was my 2nd servicing done by them-- my first one was New Years Eve 2021 at 5pm when I pulled up needing a plug for a nail in a tire. It was a holiday eve, yet they still took care of it promptly, and I was in/out in the time it took me to drink a tea across the street in Panera. Only good experiences so far.
