My First visit was absolutely splendid!!! The ladies at the front desk were kind and courteous. The spa is very clean and beautiful with a wonderful ambiance. My massage therapist was Valerie and she was wonderful. She gave a very relaxing and firm general massage and asked if there were any areas that needed special attention. I let her know that I had sciatica and pain in my lower back and left glute. She massaged the area and balanced it by doing both sides. When I tell you that after having pain for months and months and not even being able to sit down in my chair at work comfortably throughout the day and that after the massage the pain was gone.....The joy and relief that I have is priceless. Best decision I made was to visit Hand and Stone. I will definitely go back. I even signed up for the package. I was extremely pleased and satisfied. Who knew a massage would be life-changing?! .

Honestly, I was disappointed in this particular location. I’ve been to a different Hand & Stone location and I’ve had no complaints, but the experience I had here was not what I was anticipating. My husband booked a reservation for me to have a prenatal massage to relieve some pains and stress, I had been looking forward to this appointment for weeks. Neither my husband nor myself were informed of having to come in 15 minutes prior to fill out paperwork. He received a call 5-10 minutes from the front desk, before my appointment to ask if we were still coming in and that we needed to be there earlier. I would’ve gladly showed up 15 minutes prior had we both been informed. My husband also had added upgrades for my 60 minute massage, that we were told they would go over with us the day of to explain them, but at my appointment not one person mentioned or helped or put any of the upgrades requested to use. No one even consulted me as I know is done at Hand & Stone locations, no one informed me about membership plans or any products. I felt as though my entire appointment was rushed and the communication was extremely poor. I had a 60- minute appointment booked and it was realistically only a 35-40 minute appointment. Which I think is absolutely ridiculous because this is advertised differently on the website. On top of, if filling out the paperwork would cut into my appointment, I should’ve been informed so I could reschedule and not lose out on time as none of these massages are free. That is not my problem, no one communicated a time to be in for a set appointment. People look forward to their massages and appointments, and this place completely disregards that and their customers. I wouldn’t recommend this location nor would I go back. Entirely disappointed.

I had an awful experience at the Hand & Stone Babylon location. I booked a deep tissue massage. The masseuse Michelle started out the deep tissue massage by using the theragun on my whole body. I have bad back problems and know that this really shouldn't be used and I’m not paying for a theragun massage, it’s supposed to be a deep tissue done by hand. This was very uncomfortable and painful and probably went on for about 3 minutes before I had to tell her to stop. She then began to use her hands to massage me, with applying little to no pressure. I then asked her if she could apply more pressure, and she told me that she could not because she has arthritis. She then asked me if I was getting anything out of this, and told me she was going to stop and comp this 20 minute "massage". I received. She left me in the room covered in oil and in pain from using the theragun. I go to the front desk and they told me that I wouldn't have to pay for today but could come back another day and could get a free add on. I asked to do the CBD add on, which the front desk person said would be too expensive to cover. Not only was this a waste of my time, it left me in more pain than when I arrived. I am a member here with more treatments to use up and I really don't ever want to come back here. It’s honestly appalling that the masseuses use theraguns or the equivalent of a massage gun in place of using their actually hands to massage. At this point I would like to be refunded all the treatments I have banked. I am absolutely horrified by this encounter and will have to seek further medical attention for my back.

Waste of money. It’s 50 mins total, including time it takes to fill out their paperwork and change. So you’re really only getting a 40 min massage, but you’re paying for an hour one. Then I paid an extra $15 for a scalp massage so I thought it would be added time but it’s not. They incorporate it into your body massage. Online is totally misleading. They also only show “introductory” prices online. It’s all a ripoff. Never going here again.

I haven't gone to this place but my wife handed me a flyer that came in the mail. Well of course I knew what she wanted. Kind of the perfect gift. No driving to the store, no checking out stuff on Amazon and it's what she wanted. Ok, got the message. I went on the website and it was nice how easy it was to purchase massages. I had them sent to her on Christmas Eve via email. She saw the email the next morning and I got the approval, then the kids started with unwrapping their presents. So I will have to keep you posted on when she goes but as of now the shopping experience online was excellent. I did do my reviews on Google and that was one of the reason also why I purchased massages for my wife.

Very disappointed in my last couple of massages at this location. The therapist asked what areas I would like her to focus on during the massage, and she completely ignored everything I said. For 45 mins she basically just rubbed me all over with her calloused hands, without any pressure. I guess that could be relaxing for some people, but it was not the treatment I requested. Overall the facility is always clean and I’ve never had any issues with the front desk personnel.

60 minute massage is really closer to 45 minutes max. I would not consider it an actual massage as there was no pressure applied, hands were cold, little lotion used, linens were slightly damp. Will not be returning to this location

YOU MUST BOOK WITH JEN! I was very nervous about my very first facial, as I am not comfortable being touched. Jen was super friendly, knowledgeable and made me feel super comfortable and safe. She gave me a thorough explanation of my skin, and it was great to learn how I could improve and set goals for my skin for future sessions. I walked out of my session feeling zen and my skin was glowing for days! The check in and check out process was super smooth, and I walked out with an amazing membership package. Can't wait to go back!

Umm. I’m pretty sure I paid for an hour facial. Somehow I went into the room at 10:05 and Sarah wouldn’t stop talking to me for 10 minutes. By time I was getting dressed it was almost 10:20. Then she started the “facial” which was really just exfoliating and motioning my face a couple of times. Honestly like 3-4 things. Then a massage. Ended early at 11 exactly. I’m pretty confused on what I paid for. I’ve had facials before where the people put on about 10 stuff on my face and do extractions. Never go to this location. Nice people but this is suppose to be luxury, so how come the Chinese peeps do it better and cheaper. I’ll give them the $120 next time because they do a better job.

Very upset with whoever answered the phone. (Deaja) I was asking for a different time because I try to accommodate Jennifer’s new time availability. I love Jennifer but, I already have an engagement that cannot be changed (I just found out I couldn’t change that). I understand policy terms, but I have had other reps that are more accommodating and helpful. And to hear that this rep is telling me she is doing me a favor? I’m not sure how you expect to keep customers if that’s how you speak to customers. I pay monthly never had an issue and it’s annoying to deal with someone like that. Although Deaja has called me back to tell me she won’t charge me, the back and forth is not something I associate this high end experience that Jennifer and the rest of the team of Hand and Stone Spa has given/shown me.

I booked 2 massages and a facial for my grandmother, sister and I 6 weeks ago for my grandmothers birthday and bc my sisters in town. A while girls day planned. My grandmother got a phone call saying they had to cancel her appointment bc the girl doing her facial was sick. I asked if they could get anyone else, switch appointments around, get us in at a different time or location and I got a nasty response and they really didn’t care. I wouldn’t recommend this place at all!

I received a gift certificate for 2 massages. When I used the first one, they said, "we put the credit for the next one in the computer". Cool. Then the pandemic happened and I didn't go for a while. Not sure if the gift certificate expired (I didn't see an end date on it) I called and they said it was still in their system. I booked an appointment. Before the appointment, I double checked and "yup, still there." But when my massage was over, the receptionist explained that she couldn't apply the credit because they "changed computer systems recently." After trying to explain to them the concept of credit and honoring their word, I just gave up and paid full price on my credit card. And just as I was thinking about going regularly... I won't be back. I was basically ripped off.

I have been going here for the past 5 months and have been seeing Harriet and she has done absolute magic with my skin. When I started with her in January I had active breakouts and very clogged pores and I have seen amazing results. She is amazing at what she does I definitely recommend going to her for a facial!! Overall I have a great experience every-time I go and leave there feeling refreshed and relaxed! Highly recommend

The Black Friday Special was great so we stopped in to purchase a future massage. The pricing was a bit confusing because there are a couple different memberships and therefore the price fluctuates between them. The waiting area seems comfortable and welcoming, we will let you know how the massage part ( most important part) goes, so stand by for an update...

My experience at Hand & Stone in Babylon was great. The staff at the front were very professional and knowledgeable. My esthetician, Harriet was AMAZING! She took the time to observe my skin, asked detailed questions about what I was looking to achieve out of the facial. I walked out feeling great and my skin was glowing! Even though it’s a bit of a trip for me to go there, it’s totally worth it! Harriet is my official go-to as an esthetician! Highly recommend!

Truly enjoyed my facial experience at Hand and Stone in Babylon, The front staff was very knowledgeable and professional. My esthetician was also very helpful and had my face feeling brand new after. I did purchase the add on during my facial but it was not pushed on me. I will be returning :)

Excellent experience at Hand & Stone today for a facial with Diane. She recommended an anti aging mask for an additional charge, but was not pushy for the up sell at all, and it felt amazing! Very comfortable and relaxing environment, very clean, and very friendly staff. Highly recommend.

I bought a massage and hot towel foot wrap for my wife. It was her first time at Hand and Stone, in Babylon. She loved it. All she talks about is going back. I'm going to get her a membership so she can go whenever she wants.

I wish I could give this place zero stars. Disgusting customer service. How dare you people treat someone who just lost their husband in such a vile manner! All because someone asked you to be gracious and waive the cancelation fee...they were exposed to covid AND their spouse had just passed. I would never give my money to any Hand and Stone locations again.

I just got a massage from the wonderful Breno! Breno was honestly amazing! He listened to me with everything from pressure and my pain. I have been dealing with hip pain for months and he worked out the pain. He was so professional and gentle. This whole experience was amazing. From the environment, massage and front desk was FABULOUS! 10/10 would recommend 🙌🏼

The worst customer service ever . My father passed away early last week and my mother decided to make an appointment this week since she had a gift card and figured it may help her keep her busy . Unfortunately several people got covid in our family and she was in contact with several of them at the wake and had not been feeling good at all the day of her appointment. She made the appointment early in the morning but by the afternoon time she felt awful and also did not want to get anyone else sick. She called me about 10 minutes before her appointment and she told me she felt so bad she unfortunately fell asleep called them right away to apologize and reschedule and the front desk was atrocious to her. When she called to reschedule she was informed about the policy that she would be charged half of the service because she did not make it to her appointment. She did inform the young lady at the desk that she was exposed to several people with Covid and that her husband had passed earlier during the week and she would show a prayer card or some sort of information explaining that and it please asked if I was a one time thing she would not be charged especially if she did reschedule for the following week or two when she knew she would not be exposed to Covid any longer. The receptionist was extremely rude , disrespectful gave her an attitude and told her that she would not be able to help her if my mother continued to be mean to her , she was to busy to help . My mother then asked to speak to a manager and was told she was in meetings all day which is understandable . She did proceed to ask for the corporate phone number because she felt so disrespected from the receptionist and her response was you can find it on Google . I had then proceeded to call and left a message that I would like to speak to the manager and that I would like a call back later on that day or the day after and the same receptionist that had spoke to my mother previously spoke to me and was absolutely disgusting on the phone . She had an attitude from the very second she picked up the phone before she even got my information she sounded miserable and she was extremely unprofessional . Yes it is the holiday season and it is about two weeks or so before Christmas everywhere is busy but that does not give you the right to treat any customer like a piece of garbage.

Facial from Hell!!!!! Lisa was well aware that I have sensitive skin and use retinal but proceeded to exfoliate my face with rubber gloves on until it I told her that my face is burning up! She then proceeded to put creams on my face that irritated and burned my skin even more. I asked if wearing gloves is a new protocol and she said she only wears them so her fingers don't get eaten up from exfoliating ... but it's ok if my skin is roar and her fingers are protected unlike my skin! Three days later my skin is still red and burning with open soars that bleed, worst experience I have ever had! Never again will I step foot in a Hand and Stone, had facials all my life and never ever had an issue! Took the survey emailed to me and requested a call.. still waiting!!
