Avoid
at
all
costs
—
like
others,
I
was
strung
along
for
months
on
end
with
no
updates,
limited
responses
and
just
a
general
lack
of
follow
up
unless
I
intimated
a
request
for
an
update.
Just
a
total
run
around
during
a
stressful
time.
When
I
escalated
the
lack
of
follow-up
and
contact
with
the
owner
Marcus
his
response
was
appalling
—
he
was
yelling
and
screaming
that
if
I
didn’t
like
the
communication
I
was
receiving
I
could
go
elsewhere,
I
was
shocked
to
hear
a
business
owner
respond
with
this
tone
and
aggression.
He
went
on
to
flat
out
refuse
to
do
the
job
out
of
spite
and
anger,
stating
since
I
didn’t
like
the
communication
I
was
receiving
I
could
go
ahead
and
start
the
whole
process
over
with
someone
else
(which
was
in
violation
of
the
contract
we
signed
since
the
job
had
now
spanned
over
6
months).
It
then
took
3
weeks
and
another
follow
up
from
me
with
Marcus
to
get
the
deposit
back
and
we
had
to
start
the
process
over
again
while
our
headstone
sat
blank
for
months
on
end
thanks
entirely
to
the
incompetency
and
arrogance
of
Marcus
and
St.
Charles
Monuments.
What
a
nightmare.
We
ended
up
utilizing
another
memorial
company
and
the
process
could
not
have
been
better.
When
I
told
them
what
was
going
on
for
the
past
several
months
and
now
changing
of
a
vendor
from
St
Charles
both
the
new
memorial
company
and
the
cemetery
representatives
separately
nearly
finished
for
me
,
“let
me
guess,
Marcus
bullied
you
over
the
phone
and
lost
his
temper
refusing
to
do
the
work”.
I
couldn’t
believe
that
my
experience
was
common
enough
for
others
to
fill
in
the
details
before
I
even
shared,
they
were
not
surprised
to
learn
of
the
ordeal.
Buyer
beware,
this
ordeal
dragged
out
our
families
grieving
period
and
no
one
deserves
to
be
treated
this
way.
Marcus
and
St
Charles
have
a
warped
sense
of
business
and
ethics
and
I
wish
I
would
have
done
my
research
before
contracting
them.
