    Simply avoid this location. I was here to SIMPLY fix the date of birth error that they had on file. 9am in the morning and the woman with light hair and glasses was picking a fight with me out of pure, devious boredom. Just because she is behind bulletproof glass, she thinks she can talk to anyone how she wants. Avoid this location or do something about this woman because she clearly hates her job and brings her miserable life to work with her. I would hate to be in her shoes. June 19th, 2019 / Window 1 / 9am.

    I called and was told that they extended their Drop Box day to Wednesday. When I arrived no one knew anything about another day. There was also another person outside that was told the same thing. However, the information was wrong. There wasn’t another day for the Drop Box. This is very frustrating. Can’t they get it straight... one hand doesn’t know what the other hand is doing. Get it together, as people are depending on getting important information in the system. We were told to send it certified if we want it to reach them. That is just unacceptable when we can deliver the information in person. Being on a fixed income that is not using money wisely.

    After I had a very bad experience with the Mineola location, I called this location because my freind recommended it to me. VANEYKEN was great very professional, she took her time to help me and unswe all my questions.

    I visited this office for a very minor issue Friday afternoon. From the second I walked in, I was pleasantly surprised how friendly and efficient this office is. I have to admit that I had never been to a SSA office before, but in my mind thought that it wold be like visiting the DMV and maybe worse. I was so wrong. Upon entering the office I was greeted by the security officer, we walked me through the entire process. Besides being a perfect gentlemen, I am sure this fellow could take care of any problem that could arise. I waited maybe twenty minutes, and I was called to thew window. The agent at the window was professional, caring, and truly a nice person. She actually fixed a secondary issue (Birth-date related), and I was done in under ten minutes. I did bring along proper documentation, which helps, but the service was great!!

    Took my parent's to have an address change at the office. Starting from the security guard to the nice young man at the from window, were very professional and helpful. Really made this much easier. I hope all government offices worked like this one.

    Went there to get my name changed since I recently got married. When you walk in you have the option of signing in on the computer or through your phone, which I thought was very helpful. If you are changing your name and have to wait, make sure you have the form filled out (available in different languages) before your turn so you can get it done quicker. Mr. Giovaniello was friendly and answered all the questions I had. I also loved to see how people that didn’t speak English received the help they needed in their language. Overall I had a great experience. You can tell the management and supervisors work very hard in order for things go as smoothly as possible. Kudos to everyone working there cause dealing with the public can NOT be easy. And you can tell by some of the reviews that some unpleasant people have visited that office.

    I was denied access to the online ss account and after a phone call was told I had to get identity validation in person and appointments would not be accepted for this situation. I arrived today at 11:09 am and was finished within 10 minutes. The woman helping me was knowledgeable , polite, and efficient. I was very happy and surprised! If the workers at this office read this, please know I applaud you and send thanks.

    This is the MOST organized and professional SSA office in our area! The security officer there runs the waiting area helping, and treating people with respect while maintaining his authority. The reps are knowledgeable, efficient and helpful. We drive from Patchogue area there just because we know we can expect speed and proper treatment.

    If you can go to another location go , the woman at the front window is rude for no reason, ready to start a argument before even knowing the problem. Even being nice and polite as a grown person should be she is still rude and nasty maybe it was the color of my skin , I will pray for her

    Nakomoto the supervisor is the worse representative of any establishment I have ever dealt with. She was not helpful to me or my partner she shut us down completely and embarrassed and humiliated us. We had spoken previously and it was a pleasant conversation but when we showed up to speak in person she denied any knowledge of the previous conversation. If she is not willing to help those who need it she should find another profession where being rude is acceptable. Her actions and decisions to not help are hurting our family.

    the best SS office that i have ever been too. after horrors of dealing with SS & DMVs in NYC, West Babylon location was a pleasant surprise. almost no wait time, clean and very organized. very professional staff. we were in and out in 10-15 mins, which is a new record. Wish every government agency operated as this one.

    I would like to say THANK YOU to Mrs Kelly a true professional. She spent over an hour on the phone with me 2 times in the last 2 years helping me and guiding me with a family matter. Mrs Kelly gives me faith that there are still people who care.

    Very impressed with the service. Quick & easy sign in terminal when you arrive, the guard on duty was very helpful. Arrived around 10:30am on a Monday morning, it was very quiet, only a handful of people waiting. It took less than 10 minutes to be called to the window, and away 5 minutes or so after. Obviously it depends on what you are seeing them for, mine was a quick query. The inside of the waiting area seems to be larger than I remember. Clean environment. The staff were very helpful, and efficient. The whole experience was excellent. Thank you.

    I’m an interpreter and this is my office of choice because they are the best; the security guard is very helpful and does far more than just guard the place and the staff is friendly, respectful, and very professional. I’ve brought a lot of clients there and I’ve never had a problem! They’re also very efficient because you’re in and out within one hour. From my personal experience: Usual time to be seen after registering is 10-20 minutes!

    The office is small but moves quickly. Staff is all very friendly EXCEPT for the security guard. He starts barking orders at you the moment you step thru the door. The rest of the process is smooth quick and efficient

    I had lost my social I went to many offices and they treated me very badly and I went to the Babylon .NY office. Since I entered they treated me so well it is the best place like social Security my rating is 100 friendly staff I recommend 100%
