I regularly come to this amazing cafe for several reasons. Firstly, it’s conveniently located right near the Babylon railroad. On top of that, the food is some of the most authentic and delicious I’ve ever had. I regularly order the birria tacos, which are generously sized for the price and come with a dipping soup. There are also a few chairs and tables if you want to eat inside. From the counter to the kitchen the service is excellent. I recommend this place to everyone I know.

Absolutely spectacular food! Fast service, authentic atmosphere, and we enjoyed every single thing we ate. The Birria tacos were some of the best we’ve ever had! My boyfriend also loved the chorizo. It was spicy, crispy, and delicious, and everything was fresh. We’ll definitely be coming again!

It is now a Mexican Taco etc. restaurant. The Chilean and the bakery are long gone (except for empanadas and Tres Leches cake). Excellent tacos, biria tacos, huevos rancheros, .... The owner was very nice , welcoming and attentive , i had the birria tacos and my husband and i loved them . Authentic Mexican food 100%. Highly recommend this spot . We will definitely be going back

1st time at this little new secret hideaway of the most mouth watering pastries , cakes , pies , cookies and specialty sandwiches. Homemade rolls that don’t overpower the taste of the her specialty sandwiches. Purchased various sweets just to try because it is a new introduction to her amazing heritage of baking. Please make the attempt to try her bakery and support her new business. You won’t be disappointed...

Best spanish/mexican food I have ever had. Most authentic I have ever experienced. Great people working there as well. Best burrito I have ever eaten. Exquisite seriously. Amazing prices too. All around excellent restaurant.

The convenient location of NZ-grei is not the only thing this spot has going for it! The food is fresh and tasty! If you're looking for guacamole (to stay or to go), this is your sign! Enjoy!

Highly recommend NZ-grei Mexican Cafe! Food is very fresh and tasty! Had the huevos rancheros and really enjoyed the green sauce - tasted homemade! The birria taco was delicious and the shrimp taco was very good too! We tried the corn soup tonight and its was really fresh. We did take-out out once and ate in another time. If you are looking for a more authentic Mexican place in Babylon - check this one out!

Great Mexican place located next to Babylon Lirr station. Closer to a 4 then a 5 but I think for the location they are hard to beat. Review on Birria Tacos only. As it's all I tried so far. Place: was a small but clean set up with a few small 2 top tables for people to sit and eat if they would like. Lady behind counter was pleasant and helpful. Food: this place has had the best Biria tacos I've had in the area local to my job. The tacos were filled generously with a really tasty, moist and well seasoned beef. It had the typical raw white onion, although many restaurants go a bit heavy handed with onion, especially since it's also in the consume. I was easily able to pick a few off and it didn't overwhelm the flavors like at a nearby competitor. The addition of sweet red pickled onions gave it a nice mix of flavors to offset the salty rich meats and they use a wet Oaxaca cheese melted onto the tortilla to add the creamy cheese chew. The tortillas was crisp, even after driving back to my job and did not fall apart even when dipping into consume. Now the consume... the consume was nicely rich and flavorful. It was darkly colored and they give you a nice large portion of it for my 3 tacos. I picked some of the raw onion out, but that may be a more personal preference. I will definitely be eating here again soon and would like to try out other menu items as well. I will update my review as needed. FINAL NOTE: It seems at one time this was a bakery with cakes and cookies on display but I don't think they do that anymore as I hadn't seen any baked goods at all. So just be aware that you won't be picking out baked goods from a case. But go for the Biria!

Amazing Authentic Mexican food. Santiago is amazing chef. I go there everyday for lunch. My favorite dish is Al pastor Molcajete.

Our friends just told us about this bakery so we just got some treats from there. Delicious, especially the brownies. To live for. And the coffee is awesome too. However, the sweetest experience was meeting Luisa the owner. She is absolutely sweet. You have to visit this little piece of Heaven in Babylon near the train station. You will not regret it. I can't believe their service is SOOO ON TOP! I only ordered the green juice but the server cleaned each veggie by hand with gloves on. And the juice was so delicious. Please try it for yourself.

Very Fresh ingredients, and high quality dishes. I love the tacos and quesadillas! Authentic to tradition and delicious. The restaurant is also very clean, the design with all the flags are very decorative and cool as well, and all the fruit and vegetables look fresh and in order. Will be coming back regularly. I can not recommend this bakery enough! I came in yesterday with my wife and kids and they were so welcoming and kind. The food was amazing! We has such an amazing time and the family friendly atmosphere put me and my wife at ease. We can not wait to come back again!

It was a very pleasant experience. The owner was very friendly, and the food was delicious. The place is very homey, and it's decorated with chilean art. They have 3 tables that can hold 6 or 7 people. I visited this cafe with my family (husband and toddler). We ate a completo, barros luco, and empanadas de queso. Everything was fresh and good. They also offer a large variety of pastries. We took home lemon merengue pie, berlin, alfajores, and torta tres leches. 5 stars!
