This is a standard Best Western. I stayed for one night in July 2023. The staff I interacted with were nice! My room was comfortable and spacious with a king sized bed, a desk+chair, TV, microwave, and kettle. There are signs that the room was a bit dated but nothing serious to me. The AC worked really well!! There is a free breakfast every morning from 7-9. They served some fruits, pre-packaged muffins and pastries, and cereals. It was nothing decadent but filling enough!!

If there is less than 1 star I would give this place, the place is terrible. It smells very bad ,the stairs are rusty and broken. I couldn’t believe that this called hotel. Thank god that I booked only one night. Never again. Terrible experience

DO NOT STAY HERE. We called to book a room as part of a wedding block. When we received the confirmation, it was for only one night, not two as requested. The night of the wedding (Saturday) was excluded from the booking. We called again to fix the reservation and were informed that we were all set for two nights, including the night of the wedding. We arrived at the hotel and were informed that we had only reserved one night. Saturday night had since sold out. The manager on duty was antagonistic and completely unhelpful. She told my husband "I'm not saying you're lying, but....." implying that he was attempting to manipulate the situation for personal gain. We went to the room to figure out what to do. By the time we went back to the front desk to see if any accommodation had been made, the manager had left and delegated the situation to a man that I'll politely describe as "checked out". He shrugged when the situation was explained and offered no apology or assistance. All the other hotels near the wedding venue were also sold out. Essentially, the perpetual incompetence of the staff left us unhoused the night of a wedding in a city a flight's distance from home. The room we were in for an hour smelled like mold and must. The fixtures were dated and stained. I've stayed in hostels and less-than-ideal lodging around the world, so I am far from pretentious about my lodging, but the odor in the room was enough to give me a headache after a short time. Never again.

Nice place. Clean room. Nice pool. I would have given it four stars if it wasn't for the guy behind the desk being rude when I wanted to check in.

I have stayed at Best Westerns before and they're no thrill hotels but this was below standards for the franchise. While the location was good, the hotel itself is not a place I would ever consider again. When I first got to the room, it appeared clean but aged. When I returned after getting dinner, I got ready for the evening and that's when I was grossed out. I had to have my room switched because when I pulled the blanket down, there was a giant dark mark on the bed. I looked a little closer and discovered it was not only a clump of hair, but the sheets has a giant hole in the middle of the bed. I immediately got in my car and drove back to the lobby where they switched my room. The second room appeared the same (clean but aged) but luckily did not have any hair on the bed. There were small holes in the sheets. I hadn't noticed it much at night but in the morning when I was brushing snow off my car, I realized it was really dark (6:30am). There were absolutely no lights in the parking lot or the walkways.

I chose to stay in a hotel for my friend's wedding so I didn't have to have an early commute and be exhausted day of. Joke was on me, because a glitch in the phone system woke me up three times in the middle of the night. I paid ~$130 to get no sleep. I told the manager and he said he'd request a full refund for me. It's been a week and I still haven't received the refund. Edit: Bumping up my review from 1 to 3 starts because I finally got a 30% refund for the inconvenience.

The room I got was alright looking. The heater/AC unit was very obnoxious. Just too loud at times and would randomly rattle loudly when changing the temp. The door doesn’t properly seal at the bottom. So there’s a lot of leakage of air through the door. Which causes the temp control unit to constantly go off. You should really put a strip at the bottom to stop the air from leaking into the room. Especially when it gets cold outside. The back of the dresser had a power outlet ripped out of the wall. Gotta love unsafe fire and electrical hazards! The bathroom was incredibly small. The breakfast? Oh god. What breakfast? Their bagels are individually packaged. Not fresh. THEY HAVE NO CREAM CHEESE! How could you have bagels, but no cream cheese in a Long Island establishment?! That’s like a burger without a bun. Buttered bagels are just not the way. They have these breakfast sandwiches in some box that keeps them warm. Probably is, the sandwiches were still cold. They should be heated up first and then put into the warmer. Their other prepackaged breakfast stuff was mediocre like their cheese danish and some chocolate croissant thing. They had zero cooked items. No eggs, no bacon, just figured throw us some breakfast sandwiches that were still cold and called it a day. The workers there don’t really care to do their job right. Pretty sure I saw the employee at the table playing a video game in the back of the room. Probably just some teenagers or people in their early 20s that consider this place a dead end job. The housekeeping service comes by super super late and does very little to nothing to the rooms. Pretty sure she tossed Frosted Flakes into the bathroom toilet and never flushed. Gross. Overall, not impressed. The only saving grace was the touch screen beverage maker, but unfortunately the serving size in the cup is super small. A lot of places are conveniently near this ratchet motel. Which is great because the diner near the place has good food.

Perfect for a quick stay. room was comfortable and Clean. Had a problem checking in since I booked online and the rate was different but In the morning a gentleman helped me out and got it fixed (I think his name was David). breakfast is included with your stay Just the juice machine wasn't working but they had enough food and they give goodie bag with water and a granola bar.

All rooms are non-smoking. That's not true! Every time you call service for anything, sheets, pillows, or blankets, they'll tell you no. I feel like it doesn't matter what you ask for. The answer will always be no, we don't have! I had to buy a pillow and blanket to take with me to the hotel. Mine you, I paid $200 a night. Rooms are smelly service is medicore. Hopefully, I will never be back again.

The rooms were all clean and the staff was friendly. It was a pretty decent motel, nothing sketchy about it. The shower was uncomfortably loud, as if a generator was running it, but it worked fine.

  • 1/5 Taylor G. 1 year ago on Google
I don’t know what kind of management they have running this location. Visibly dirty rooms, bugs in the shower, and a pervasive odor. Stay here if your alternative is sleeping on the street, if you can otherwise reach safety go somewhere sanitary and spare yourself unusually realistic nightmares of being eaten by bugs.

This best Western Inn is a decent place to stay for two nights the most, service is really good, treated me family with pressional service. it's the rooms are small compared to most hotels and inns. They have a great gated pool for people who stay the night. They do have great view from 2nd floor balcony.

Pros: Price Free breakfast Free parking Location isn't far from highway Front desk folks are helpful Cons: Breakfast egg sandwiches all had meat for the entire week i stayed, no options for vegetarians Breakfast window is only 2 hours Room 204 toilet is tiny like a urinal and doesn't flush Room 204 shower only gave hot or boiling water, to which our rooms were changed. Room 206 card reader doesn't work 3 nights in a row. Glad they are available 24-7 otherwise we might have slept in the car. Would not return to this location until there's a remodeling.

The rooms that we stayed in were small. They had multiple spiders, and the rooms had a strange oder to them. The shower head had more water coming out the backside of it than the front. The lobby is not wheelchair accessible nor are any of the rooms. They do have a handycap bathroom. In the main lobby, if you can get your wheelchair in the front door. The flower beds are not well kept. The staff, when cleaning the upstairs rooms, throw the dirty linens over the balcony, so watch out for flling sheet and blankets...

Room was comfortable, not all rooms have a bathtub some have shower stalls only... Check in requires a hold of 100 on a credit card or the entire length of stay on debit even if entire stay is paid in full. Staff was very friendly. Pool was beautiful, though not paid too much attention to... Water pretty cloudy even though max depth is only 4 and a half feet, water hose left turned on in the pool to the point of of flowing the pool itself. Since the hotel is near a wooded area there are insects near the pool not that annoying, but the hotel is pet friendly and I killed a tick walking nearby the pool.

A few of us got rooms here for a friend daughter getting married at the country club close to the best Western. Customer service was good. The location was good. The manager was able to extend our checkout by 1 hour.

Room keys kept failing and having to be reset every day after we got back from a long day out. Shower has air in the lines and makes a horrible noise. The only remedy is to decrease the water pressure. Toilet handle kept breaking. Smoke alarm was on the floor in the room when we got there. Housekeeping never even offered to clean our room or provide fresh towels. We had to ask for towels; which had holes in some of them. Wi-Fi stopped working for the last 2 days we were there. Bed was so overly soft and misshapen that I couldn’t sleep and literally woke up not able to feel my arms due to my neck and back being crooked. Our last night there, after a week of sleeping in the bed, I found a cockroach on the bed. Carpet is worn and appears dirty. “Sleeper” couch sags so much that it can’t be used as anything but a luggage holder. Stairs are dangerous, metal stairs that are not only slippery, but water pools on them towards the top of the stairs where the metal is dented, and the handrail is unstable.

We're in town for a wedding and the Fox Inn was booked the 1st few days of our trip, so we had to find a spot for the 1st two nights. The BW was close and available, the exterior is cute and fits the location, however the rooms and "amenities" are severely outdated. Several outlets didnt work, bathroom was small and door didnt properly lock (had to wedge a chair up against it to just feel like it was locked). However it did the job, but little surprised given the area. We are now off to the Fox Inn for the rest of our time here.

I did not get room service or any extra towels when requested the whole trip. The food at breakfast was moldy and spoiled. Lesly at the front desk was EXTREMELY RUDE and not at all helpful. But all other employees were nice

An experience I would not wish on anyone. I went to get something from my car. Leaving my son(12) asleep on the room. The key would not work to let me in. I called the front desk and no one could get a master key or regular key to open the door: how are you not able to get access to the space: what if this was an emergency? Poor training and poor service. All staff should know what to do in an emergency

Area is nice & convenient, but would not stay here again. Rooms & bathrooms are very small, run down, smell musty. Never enough towels. Housekeeper said she'd come in after we left to go out, returned at night & she didn't....had to go get towels & washcloths again. Needed a refrigerator for ice packs & insulin & it doesn't stay very cold. The parking lot is a mess with holes & dirt. I didn't see the line in the overview about this prior to arrival. The evening front desk person is very nice & the bed is comfortable, but so far that's all I can say that's positive

UPDATE - it took a while, but after speaking with the hotel management a few times, they did refund me for 50% of what I paid. They are in the process of renovations. They are working on replacing furniture but having a hard time getting it (like everyone else). They are working on improvements so I recommend just giving them a few months and revisit the reviews at that time. I give this hotel one star just because it wasn't filthy and the bed seemed clean. But everything else is a disaster. Parking lot is gravel and dirt and a mess. Walking in to the lobby gives you a preview of what your room will be like. Old, dingy and very musty smelling. Stairwell is outside and slippery and dangerous when it's raining. Gutters were leaking and pour water on you as you try to walk up. Doors to room open to outside and are not sealed so anything can crawl in. (And this makes it very noisy at night). Open the door to a horrible musty smelling room, like a 100 year old basement that has leaked for years. To the point it burns your eyes. Air conditioning didn't work, only made the room more musty and humid. Furniture had water damage, was peeling and warped and coming apart and smelled. Bathroom was incredibly small, could barely close door. Bathroom walls had water damage and were soft from damage. The room seemed to be cleaned pretty well and bedding was clean and smelled fresh but the musty smell of the room was overpowering and made my clothes even smell. This hotel is very much in need of some TLC and a major makeover. This place is not worth the price they charge for a room. I will not be returning to this hotel ever. Also I do not know where the pictures on their website are from. My room looked nothing like that. The lobby didn't look like that either. And the outside picture must have been from 15 years ago. Not what it looks like. The workout room was completely shut down. These pictures do not accurately display the room. There was no couch, no chair, floors were carpeted. Walls had stains. I could go on and on. I have pictures but don't see where I can add them.

Mold/mildew smell throughout lobby/rooms & available rooms are not ADA accessible nor is the lobby (there is a step), contrary to what is written on the Best Western site. If you get a room that is in the process of being renovated you can expect anything including stained carpet/water damaged bathroom walls. There is no elevator on the property. They are undergoing renovations but need to update info on their site to reflect the change in accessibility. I am giving an extra star for the manager’s flexibility in giving us a first floor room to accommodate elderly guests who were fortunately not in need of a fully accessible room.

I am having my wedding local to this hotel. I have people flying all around the country and thought it would be very convenient to have them all stay here at the best Western, after four or five separate attempts attempts to contact their sales team I got no response back and was told on three separate occasions that someone would call us back with information. Ultimately we ended up just having everyone go and purchase rooms on their own accord and have regretted it once seeing the attitude and demeanor of the staff here. They are completely unsympathetic and angry, We asked very simple things like the possibility of a single early check-in and it wasn’t the answer no that upset me it was the way it was said just extremely cold and rude as if I was being bothersome. Rubbing in my face that it’s a $15 service charge for early check-in and that at most that gives you a 45 minute extra window to check in. After spending multiple thousands on rooms between 30 different guest it was kind of insulting. I work in the hotel industry myself and if that was the way I treated my guest I would be out of a job so sadly I regret giving this establishment so much of my business

This hotel fell WAY under my expectations based on the reviews I read before booking my stay. Our room had SO many bugs (even in our bed), dust everywhere and black mold in the shower. Our ac unit made an awful noise and you can hear every other guest that is staying at the hotel. The room smells musty and I can’t believe I spent $700 to stay in this awful hotel.

Pros...Great price, decent breakfast, fresh beverages... Cons.. small bathroom, sink outside of bathroom, shower door slides after closing letting water leak out. Summer means bugs and stinkbugs are showing up. Carpet feels dirty, somewhat small beds but comfy, lumpy pillows. But can't beat the price and service.

Stayed a couple of nights. About average compared to other Best Western motels. Continental breakfast plus packaged hot food: no adult cold cereals. Overpriced vending with no diet soda. Chair, bed decent, safe shower. Temperature controls good. Pricey for the quality of the motel but about right for the area.

  • 3/5 Holly P. 1 year ago on Google
Just okay. Ice machine was broken. Pool had closed sign and needs work. Continental breakfast was poor. Hotel at reception desk was nice and friendly. No room service.

  • 2/5 DD V. 1 year ago on Google
The room overall was pretty ok, it has a little fridge , microwave and coffee maker. There’s an AC. The bed was pretty comfy and big. They need to upgrade the rug, also the sink wasn’t even letting the water go down, it just formed a pool. The room was pretty clean. The bad part was the breakfast , they might as well not even say they have breakfast , all they had was decaf coffee , tea, juice and hot chocolate. Not bagels, or anything else of any kind. I would say if you just need a cheap place to stay overnight , it’s not bad.

DO NOT STAY HERE! Our first floor room was broken into. We opened our door after deciding to come back early for the night (thank god!) and a man in a gray hoodie was clearly ruffling through our stuff. My girlfriend closed the door immediately while we were still outside hoping to trap in him, however he was able to pull the door open from the inside. He ran past us as I tried to grab him. He was covering his face the whole time so we didn’t get a good look at him. When we told the front desk the attendant did not seem shocked and at first only offered a room change. This place is suspect for sure. We left immediately after demanding a refund. We got very lucky as the intruder did not have enough time to steal anything. You might not be so lucky.

  • 1/5 Dan C. 1 year ago on Google
Not worth it. First, the pet fee is actually $25, not 20. You can stay at the La Quinta for the same fee and it's much nicer. Second, the front desk attendant (Leslie) was extremely rude, cutting us off when we were voicing our concerns. They literally don't care. I've been to a lot of BW's and have never had a bad experience. That changed today. The bed was very firm and uncomfortable. The rooms are quite small and smell like mildew. Noise travels far and you can literally hear everything from the surrounding rooms. Oh and don't forget the construction and the crews loudly idling their trucks in the parking lot at 6am. Not staying here again. I met an Uber driver who has driven and picked up from there and he simply said "Ugh...why would you bother with that craphole." This place needs to be remodeled or torn down.

I’m currently still in my hotel room and it’s 4am, this is the worst sleeping experience I’ve ever had at a hotel. The hotel had their power knocked out by nearby construction, so there is this massive generator that’s literally running nonstop. If that wasn’t enough, the mattress is so soft that it feels like sleeping on a balloon. Roll too close to the edge and it feels like you’re going to fall off. Miserable experience!

Do not go to this location. My name is Steven and I nstayed there March 7, 2023. On Wednesday March 9, 2023 at 8:00 AM , I lef the room to get their breakfast which was horrible, the maid went in my room and admitted being their. She took my personal belongings and took it to the front desk without finding out if I had checked out. Furthermore, I had $20.00 laying next to yhe TV which she took. Very bad hotel.
