Listen to the reviews down below DO NOT STAY HERE! IT IS A SCAM. My boyfriend booked our room through the booking app under his nickname. He went inside to check in and immediately felt animosity from the front desk personnel lady. They refused to give us a room because his state ID did not match the name on the reservation - understandable. He changes the name through the app he used to book our room (as instructed by the manager) and his associate ( the lady with a distasteful attitude) would not provide us with a room. We provided a confirmation email, his ID, the confirmation on booking (with the name change), and the physical card he used to book the room and she still refused. Everything we provided was sufficient to confirm that it was in fact our reservation!! Honestly, I'm sure they have a phone number with the reservation as well which she could've called to verify. So clearly, we can conclude that it had nothing to do with the name on the reservation. She did not care that we drove 5 hours from home and now have no place to stay and refused to give us a refund. All they care about is monetary gain and that is no way to conduct a business. Luckily, we found a hotel (the Marriott- A LOT BETTER) that was willing to accommodate us. That's how you conduct a business take notes and do better Days Inn. You will reap what you've sown and from the look of your dingy hotels, the apathetic employees, and the reviews- you already are.

Went for breakfast early the first morning. Found 5 Cocoa Puff bars, coffee, juice. Not much of a breakfast offering—even for an “item.” The chairs weren’t even taken down from the tables! We did our own thing the rest of the week, but tried again on our last morning. This time there was just coffee and juice—not even 1 bar! The chairs were still on top of the tables. When this was the Executive Inn, they had a decent breakfast offering. With Covid under relative control, there’s really no excuse for such a paltry offering! The next issue was the heating system. Every time it went on it made a loud thunk-clunk sound. Since there was no weatherstripping on the door (you could see daylight all around it), this went on and off all night long. Not very conducive to sleep! Adding insult to injury was the cockroach that scurried across the vanity as I was brushing my teeth. Since it was the only one I saw all week, I’ll assume it came in from outside, but it still shows a need for better pest control. (I’ve never seen one at a Wyndham resort.) On a positive note, the housekeeper was doing her job, as the room was clean when we checked in.

checked in here for a night because business trip got unexpectedly extended & the hotel I was staying out was booked. The Hot water in shower & sink was hit or miss. room was tiny but plenty of room for a single person.

Let me tell you for the price this is the best deal anywhere around. The rooms are exceptionally clean the king size bed and pillows are wonderful and the place is very quiet to get nice rest. I recommend it highly for the price. If you give them the hundred dollar deposit in cash they give it back to you upon check out so that’s no problem. I think people have problems with the card and the place is great.

Overall, I would sum up my stay at the Days Inn by Wyndham Woodbury Long Island as HIGHLY DISAPPOINTING! My stay was during a holiday weekend, which caused me to pay double of what the typical cost for the hotel would be. The room was pretty filthy, with noticeable stains on the carpet & furniture. Many of the outlets and light fixtures did not work. The smell in the room was musty, and got progressively worse when the AC/Heating unit was on. It was also very difficult to regulate the temperature in the room because the unit seemed to be faulty. The bathroom was dirty and tiny! However, the most troubling part of the trip was the treatment by the front desk. The person at the front desk was very rude. We arrived about 15 minutes before check in. The woman in front of us was allowed to check in. But when I approached the desk, I was told that I had to wait until 3:00pm. So, I stood to the side and patiently waited. Then, another group, who arrived after us, was allowed to check in to their TWO rooms. Now I understand if early check in is not allowed under hotel policy. But this policy was clearly not equally enforced, and led me to believe I was being discriminated against. My advice: if you can, pay the extra money for a better hotel. You will regret wasting your money on this overpriced dump!

Not as advertised. It was a small motel room which opened outside. No breakfast. Only tea & coffee. Carpet needs removing. Musty mildewed smell. Not recommended

The "included breakfast" which was supposed to be available from 6 to 10 arrived late. Also all of the chairs were on the tables making the area look closed. It was nothing more than a bag with a tiny muffin, bagel, fruit, and cream cheese. Not quite a continental breakfast. Rooms were clean and comfortable but our room only had double bed not queen. At least their were 2 so we could sleep comfortably but apart. My bed was softer than the other unfortunately. Not a great experience but adequate for one night. !!! IMPORTANT UPDATE !!! Just reviewed my CC charges and saw they charged me an EXTRA $300 for the two rooms! Corporate will be notified of this scam!

They charge you a $100 security deposit on top of what your room costs. It’s not a temporary hold that is released the next day after check out. They actually charge you the $100 before check in, which took about a week to be refunded into my account. Was scrolling through the reviews on here and some people never even got their security deposit refunded. Rooms were decent, and no breakfast is served.

No hot water. They lie about it. It's either the power is out. The guests are all showering so that's why. Etc. ( there's noone here this morning. So that's a lie. ) I asked for a refund the manager is in a meeting and won't come speak to me. The desk clerk wont handle it. Bad bad bad. Stay anywhere else. Rooms are marginal and need updating. Carpet is gross. My room had no shower curtain. Pretty sure theres something illegal operating out of here too. Lots of extra cars last night. Good location close to stuff. But just really poor customer service.managed to get 50 back on the room. Still not enough if you ask me. This place was bad.

I actually like this hotel but the staff is poorly trained and the manager sucks. I spend thousands of dollars here every year and my most recent visit they wouldn’t let me check in until 3 PM even though the rooms were available. If you can’t make an exception here and there for loyal customers you obviously don’t need my business. Pretty disappointed. I’m gonna take my business elsewhere.

This establishment is situated in a very convenient area, although it resembles a motel. Management is unprofessional and subpar. We were charged $50.00 USD to check in 40 minutes early when the room was already available. The rooms were overall clean, but carpets were dirty and the sink is next to the bed. Would not return to this motel.

Absolutely my worst stay any where ever!! Let’s start with I’m not made of money and because I didn’t check in by 7pm even though I called 4 times that day to keep them updated on my arrival they charged me a $400 refundable fee which caused my card to be declined on site when paying for the room costs. I asked what I was supposed to do and if they could apply the $400 towards the room costs and charge me the difference which they said they couldn’t do. With out paying the total cost of the room on top of the $400 I couldn’t stay there. With coming from out of town and NY Traffic not always cooperating I was basically left to sleep on my vehicle if I couldn’t find someone to come give me a card to pay for the room. I have never had this happen ever not even from Hilton or bigger name brand hotels. Very disappointed in the customer service and that they would have made me sleep in my car if I didn’t get someone to pay for my room until I was refunded the $400. Very disappointed in this company. If you plan on arriving and checking in past 7pm make sure you have the extra funds to cover this deposit.

If you want to be treated like trash, definitely stay here! My mom was staying here. A hotel staff member knocked on her door and asked her if she would like to check out or stay another night. My mom told this staff member that she would like to extend her stay. Then she gets a phone call, and they asked her if she wants to extend. She said yes again. A little while after that, the hotel staff suddenly shows up at her door with a cop, trying to intimidate her and demanding she leaves the room immediately. My mother and the police officer both went down to the front desk to sort the matter out, but instead of a civil and reasonable solution being found to the problem, my mother was instead berated and laughed at for not knowing English well. The lady at the desk was rude and bigoted. My mother was a paying costumer and was treated so poorly just because of a small misunderstanding where she was apparently supposed to go down to the desk even though she had already been told twice that she was okay to extend her stay. Even the police officer was confused at the situation, and felt the hotel was in the wrong. We have been returning customers to this location for many years now, but after this we will never be returning to or recommending any Days Inn location ever again.

A lot of reviews are complaining and you need to understand that for about 80 bucks a night, you shouldn’t be expecting the Ritz. The rooms are clean upon arrival, did a check of the room before setting anything down (as I usually do) and there was no dirt or bugs. The female at the front desk was very kind and welcoming. The area is located across from a strip mall containing a starbucks and various food options! Overall, you get what you pay for.

Okay, if you're from out of town and you're looking at places to stay in NY, this place is two hours trains, etc, from Central Manhattan. You'll want to Uber from here to the nearest train station and take that into town. The rooms were nice, clean, and quiet. When we first entered our room, it stank heavily of THC, which wasn't great, but after running the shower, the smell went away. Some staff are really good, some are just okay. There is definitely a breakfast/coffee room in the check-in office place, IDK what the conditions of it are like as I skipped it, but when we were checking out we were offered coffees, teas, etc... Despite all of this, it's affordable, and clean and I would stay here again.

No hot water in the shower. Was staying one night last weekend for a wedding. Went to shower before hand and got no hot water, had to take a cold shower to get ready to leave. Told the front desk about it after that and they wanted to change the room but told them I was leaving shortly for the wedding and would not be able to do a room change since our Uber was already schedule. They decided to send someone over who was like the hot water works in the other rooms. Cool, it doesn’t in mind. Then got pissed I didn’t want to stick around and see if he could fix. You came to the room as I was getting in an Uber. Obviously I have some where to be in my suit getting in an Uber. Don’t get pissy with me. We made it back to our room around midnight and it had been snow and rain mix all day. The parking lot was a sheet of glass. No salt or anything to keep people from slipping. Real safe. The rooms were old looking but I can deal with that for a one night stay. My room problem other than the obvious hot water was the door and chain on the door. The chain looked ancient and the door no better. Time for a new a door and lock just for the safety of people staying there.

September 2022 Extremely slow check-in even though I prepaid. The room was mostly clean and functional, the bed comfort was decent, and the shower was nice, but it's only 1 star because the staff was so unpleasant and then in the morning I saw a half dozen large roaches in my room. And it's a very worn interior for a place that was almost $200 for one night in late September.

The front desk staff was very friendly, accommodating, and helpful. They actually allowed me to cancel my second and third days because we had a change of plans. And they gave me a full refund for the two days. The room was very clean and the decor was up to date. The motel was nice and the continental breakfast was the usual Covid bag snack.

Clean, quiet, great reservation experience (by phone) and check-in experience (at the last minute, too). The staff members we met were all personable, friendly and professional, treating us very well. Would recommend. Note: if you have issues with stairs, be sure to specify a first-floor room. The stairway to the 2nd level is outside (but covered).

We had booked our stay and the morning we were supposed to head to NYC we tested positive for COVID so we were unable to make it to our booking in January 2022. Catching COVID was an unforeseen event and I doubt the hotel would’ve wanted someone with COVID staying at their hotel. Anyway, we requested a refund for the amount they charged us and we sent them the required medical documentation and they denied our refund request. Prior to them denying our request, we had already booked a stay with them for the end of February 2022. They wouldn’t even grant us a credit to our rescheduled stay. Super inconsiderate and we will be canceling and staying elsewhere. So in case anyone is wondering what their policy on canceling due to COVID…they don’t care. They just want their money. I guess this hotel rather have you just stay at their hotel even if you’re sick. What a scam.

BEWARE!! FILTHY MOTEL CHARGING HOTEL PRICES; WORTHLESS CUSTOMER SERVICE! We checked in on Dec. 25th, 2021 and were offered two different dirty, malodorous and dingy rooms. Due to the condition of the rooms, we were afraid to put our bags down anywhere. Therefore we didn't even stay 10 minutes in either room. Upon complaining immediately to Rebecca (Front Desk), she ASSUMED that we booked the room thru a third-party company (i.e. Booking.com) and told us that there's nothing she can do, so we'll have to call them to complain, in order to get a refund. After I corrected and informed her that we actually booked the room directly on the Days Inn by Wyndham Woodbury L.I. website, she called Jay P. (Hotel Manager). She advised us, as per Jay P. since we booked it on the hotels website, he will review our complaint & refund request, when he is in the office tommorrow..Yeah..Sun. Dec 26th , 2021. What a MAJOR inconvenience, as we had to find & book ANOTHER hotel room, at the last minute on Christmas Day! Despite, multiple calls and emails, as of today, we have not received a call, an email or a credit card refund from Jay Patel or Days Inn by Windham! ZERO!! At this point, it is obvious that Jay P. (Hotel Manager) either has no intention of rectifying this situation or he does not have the power to do so! The poorly maintained accommodations at the Days Inn by Windham (Woodbury L.I.) as well as the lacking customer service & communication by the hotel staff is just appalling. The "hotel room" as advertised on their website is misleading to say the least! Surely the corporate office of Days Inn at Wyndham, values their overall reputation in the hospitality industry, as customers have a lot of hotels to choose from. Hopefully, this will shed light on the changes needed, at the Days Inn Woodbury L.I. location and will prevent anyone else from making the same mistake we made by booking here wasting money and time.. YOU'VE BEEN WARNED!!

he room we got in the hotel didn't have a microwave. The fridge was tiny, and the bathroom door was hard to open and close. The sink is actually outside the bathroom, right in front of the bed. I wonder which genius thought of that! Our toilet got clogged suddenly, meaning the hotel also has poor plumbing. The hotel has only one floor, so there were no fantastic views. The remote for our TV didn't work, and when we asked for a new one, it didn't work either! Also, when we tried changing the a/c temperature, the display blinked and did not work correctly. The muffins were so tiny that you could eat them in one bite, and they didn't taste good. When asked for a change of towels and toiletries, it took hours before they were provided. Being someone who has been trapped in various hotels for more than two years, I can confirm there is zero value for your money here, I would much recommend finding any other place, and if it was possible to leave a zero-star review, I would.

Don not stay here the manager and his wife are shady and cover up occurrences on their property. They work with the local precinct. They covered up a data breech from a large financial data bag being stolen. Would not release the camera footage or who was there in between to me or authorities. Wyndham who owners them wants no part of it. They purposely dragged it on over a month so that when they are subpoenaed by the court they longer have the footage. I don’t know who they were trying to protect but certainly not their reputation

I checked in on Saturday only one person at the front desk and a line going all the way to the back just with this issue I would never come back or recommend this place. On a Saturday on a holiday weekend and you only have one person in the front desk and she is looks like she can’t handle this. Jay Patel the Manager On Duty is no were to be found un real. After our stay while in room the toilet leak for our 3 day stay and sink didn’t want to turn off. I would not stay here ever again…. Now to wait for deposit I’ll keep everyone posted on this!!!!!

I left a very important bag with financial information in it in the closet and somehow my passport was the only thing returned out of it. There was only one guest after me staying who are there for 5 days so it’s either still in the closet or housekeeping thru it out… not sure either way they were very rude and non understanding I filed a police report and and filing a complaint with Wyndham. If it was thrown out I would have had time to recover it if they could just give me any information at all. Won’t even say who brought my passport to the desk but Wyndham say’s they will get to the bottom of it could take up to 8 days my stuff is probably gone for no reason. I give them an F for being rude and non understanding.

Bare bones place to stay. Clean and quite with necessities. The main lobby has cookies, water, and seating areas for guests. They also have microwaves to use if needed. The rooms are equipped with the basics, toiletries, towels, empty mini fridge, etc. Great location, across the street from good food locations for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Right off the highway as well and they have parking for vehicles, you just let them know when checking in

Rooms were spacious and clean ( could have been a bit more cleaner in the sink areas) Management was super nice and friendly, and so were the cleaning staff. Breakfast was a grab and go bag which included a bagel, apple, granola bar a small muffin and coffe/ tea. Rooms definitely had an odd smell to them (wet dog, and cigarette) Decent place to stay for quick overnight.

The rooms are ok. The bathrooms are quite small and there is no food or bar options here. Just a standard place to sleep for the evening. Their online presence states they have an outdoor pool but this pool is not open and hasn’t been since COVID changed the world. The rooms AC isn’t bad and it is cleanly also having a mini fridge and ice availability. 3/5.

I would reccomend this hotel to family and friends! I felt VERY safe here. Quiet.. no "issues" Great area and NCPD Precinct very close by! Clean rooms! Some outlets don't work.. but rooms spacious and comfortable. Housekeeping does a great job. Front desk staff very accommodating! Preferred hotel! Be advised... 100$ deposit required and this location strictly limits stays to a max of 14 days!

The worst hotel of my entire life. They say breakfast is included and they only give you 1 sweet bar. People are very rude to us. There is no pool available, no gym, just a room with a hard bed, and above all, you have to give a deposit of 100 (The worst of the world)

  • 4/5 Peter L. 1 year ago on Google
Checking in went smoothly. Upon entering the room allocated to us according to our booking, it smelled horribly of "weed". We immediately put our stuff in the car, went to the reception desk and asked for a differant room citing the problem. We were given a differant room (upgraded at the same cost) which was far better. Overall the place is good, though minor repairs would benefit the overall impression of the place.

  • 1/5 Bethany L. 9 months ago on Google
Saw a cockroach within 30 seconds of being in the room. The service was terrible. The front desk representative set us up for failure. They’re slick with words! If they offer another room DONT ACCEPT. Because that’s her way around giving a refund. There’s bugs in your hotel!!!!! Be a better customer service representative and give people refunds when they find nasty dirty roaches!!!!

The rooms are good and some can be bigger depending on the room rental. They serve breakfast in the morning but it's first come first serve and a small selection. The manager and Staff are great

Location was pretty convenient, general amenities of the area were pretty close. Knowing that it was a Days Inn, if wasn't a terrible room but it was definitely for sleep.and go. The continental breakfast was a bag of bread (bagel and condiments) and mini apples. The vending macines looked like they were filled pre-pandemic and there wasn't much in the machine. Maybe it was when i stayed there but it was suspect.

I have stayed at this location 3 seperate times while in town working. Rooms are very clean. Housekeeping is well done. Management policies not so much. I was checked in for 2 weeks while working 6 days a week. No disturbances and no trouble caused. When attempting to extend my stay for another week to finish before Christmas, I was informed I had stayed my maximum amount of 14 days. I could not remain in the hotel unless I checked out for a minimum of 24 hrs before returning. The prior week the Manager told me that I could extend my stay past 14 days due to being 16 hrs from my home and only here for work. She rescinded that just 6 days later. I have been an out of town worker for 19 years now and have never experienced this policy before. Very displeasing to be told one thing then it not be followed up on. I will be back in this area as will workers from my company. We will never stay at this location again. I hope this can be resolved so others aren't basically kicked out after 14 days on the premises. Very disappointed.....
