    I wish I could give 0 stars. I rented a car for local driving while my car was in the shop. Never left a 10 mile radius of my home. They ended up charging $2,000 to my credit card for “excessive toll travel”. Working with the company that provides their toll trackers to get a refund because of course it’s a glitch but now have made have multiple payments plus interest on the charge. Unbelievably poor experience all around.

    Absolutely horrible customer service!! This was my first experience with them and will definitely be the last. Every time I call them, I am put on hold for over 30mins, what could you possibly be doing that NO ONE can help me and I have to be on hold for over 30MINUTES? Then they’ll call me and leave a nasty voicemail, the audacity is insane! I should have stuck with enterprise. Also they gave me my rental dirty as can be! Didn’t even have the curiosity to clean inside it. Like I said NEVER AGAIN.

    Before renting from this location I checked out a few others in the area. This location had the largest selection and they were able to pick me up and drop me off. First off I went there a week before the rental date. They were nice and allowed me to see the cars they had. The morning of the rental I arrived around 8am and they were already bustling. The pick up process was smooth and fast. The nice younger woman was able to pick me up at home and I drove her back to the location. Flawless so far. The reason I rented was because my truck is about 15mpg and I was spending Christmas in Florida. For anyone reading this in Long Island why put miles on your own car when you can rent one that gave me 35 to 39mpg. I rented a Kia Optima. So 3500 miles later their car was perfect. No issues whatsoever and very comfortable for a long drive. I decided to return the car one day early and the Hertz customer service line took care of that since it was after hours. On the return day I arrived at 735am on 12.30.19 They open at 730am. There employees were in the office and all three greeted me when I walked in. They were ready for their day and I was checked out super fast. They kept the same price they quoted me and then the gentleman dropped me home. This entire transaction was just perfect and I really want to thank the employees of West Babylon Hertz for making a Christmas trip so amazing. 2

    I must say after reading reviews I wasn’t sure what to expect. I still needed a car and this location was close to my body shop. I gave it a try and I’m glad i did. I was greeted by Luciano and another gentlemen. Luciano was very eager to assist me with getting me situated with a car. This was great to see employees who are proactive and willing to help. I had a certain request i needed taken care of and he was able to make a few calls to other locations to make sure my accommodations were met. It’s great to see quality staff with the willing to help customers in dire situations. Thank you Luciano and Thank you Hertz, I feel he is a great asset to the company. Keep up the good work.

    Can you give them a 0? Their call center customer services is the worst. On call for over 15 minutes trying modify a simple reservation. Unfortunately National Car Rental is not near my home.

    If you want poor service this is your place. I had reserved a full sized sedan for a week long business road trip. The only car left smelled like an ashtray and had dog hair all over the back seat. I was willing still take it but the flat tire it had was a deal breaker. No apologies, no trying to do something about it.

    Very dissatisfied with my last reservation, I got there and they told me there were no cars available after having my reservation for 3 days, they messed up all my plans with my family and I trip I needed to take. It costed me dearly but I was very surprise being a gold member the treatment that I got, I'm thinking about looking at other options when it comes to car rental. I feel sad because I've been using them for years. Supervisor didn't have the courtesy of calling me back after I requested to speak to them and was told they would call me back. Still waiting!!

    HORRIBLE! THEY RENTED ME A CAR WITH BAD BREAKS. WOULD NOT REFUND MY MONEY. DOWN GRADED MY VEHICLE WHEN I RETURNED THE OTHER ONE TO AN ALTERNATE SITE. WOULD NOT REFUND MY MONEY. NEVER RETURNED PHONE CALLS. NEVER LET ME SPEAK TO A MANAGER. GAVE ME AN 800 NUMBER TO PASS THE BUCK.

    Rented an F150 crew cab from here. Made reservation online, truck was ready for me when I arrived. Transaction took less than 10 minutes, very nice staff. Truck looked like it just rolled off the showroom floor, beautiful and spotlessly clean. Wish I could keep it. Return went just as smoothly, with no snags. Word of warning: don't mess with the toll pay device on the windshield, use your own E-ZPass if you have one.

    I strongly do not recommend this place. I only went to Hertz because it was down the street. I came for a regular economy vehicle. They said they had no more all they had were teslas 🙄 which was $15 more a day. I said I only needed the vehicle for one day. I went from paying $65 for a day rental to paying $175! Never again! I recommend to just go through Turo or Enterprise. Hertz does nothing but scam.

    Excellent service, quick and easy process. The manager was able to fit my needs in a busy holiday weekend when it was really hard to find a big car at other rental places. She came to the rescue and saved my weekend!

    I came in today to pick up a car. They tell me make sure if I have pets I must clean the car before i bring it back. I get the car they have ready for me full of animal hair. The gas take is not full. The car was not washed ,dirty on the outside and dash board. It was u rgent I needed the car to take it to the city for a board test. Running late never again. Oh I'm sorry is all I got. They better not charge me any of the above. Oh I forgot to meantion change engine oil soon light was on as well. I said enough

    I have booked cargovan on the morning everything went well my van be waiting for me later for pickup, I got there in time but there is no van, the guy at the deck insted of find a car for me start complaining abut even if i book online I have to call them and its my fault because I booked to late.     Worst experience ever. I reserved an SUV weeks in advance. Day before i went into the establishment and confirmed my rental. On the day of i went back and they said that the last Suv was just rented out. They had no car for me. Absolutely the worst service. I honestly was trying not to give one star but I had to add one.

    The staff is very rude, my rental car was not what I reserved, no trunk space and the interior was not cleaned properly. We found used masks in the car. I would not recommend anyone to go to this location.

    Did not have the car class that was reserved . The car was dirty I had to wash the windshield twice in order to be able to drive at night. Windshield wipers did not clear the glass

I rented a car for the day to get around to pick up kids from school Take son to baseball on LI NY They charge you for tolls that you didn't go through in N.J. with there toll pass and it is my problem to take care of there mistakes should not have to do foot work when you company should not charge for things customers don't use

    If I could give no stars I would. These individuals totally disregarded a contract with them that I made through Orbitz. I rented my vehicle for 3 days. But due to the fact they are closed on Sunday I was charged an extra day. I understand this is their policy however, I spoke with a worker there twice in confirming my rental to which nothing was mentioned about my return day The individual did nothing to accommodate me except allow me to return the vehicle without gas. Thank God Orbitz had the deceny that Hertz didn't and refunded my extra day.

    I reserved my car online with my Hertz account and I was in and out within 10 minutes. They are courteous and will get you on your way. I'm glad that I switched to using Hertz!!
