A beautiful cafe in a nice quiet street. Lots of parking close by. Don't hesitate to come here as the staff are friendly and the food is really fresh and tasty. Coconut cold brew was very really refreshing and perfect for a sunny day. The smoked trout salad had really nice asparagus and the hot smoked trout was very gourmet. Highly recommend this. However the falafel bagel was just divine. The pickled vegetables salad in the side actually went very well with the bagel and everything in it worked. Can't recommend this place enough

We visited The Gallery Cafe for breakfast as it looked very appealing from the outside. My partner got the Eggs Benedict & I ordered the Honeycomb Pancakes which came with cream/jam. As I had a little bite of mine it was very yummy but as I spread the jam over my pancakes I found a dirty long hair which never seemed to end hidden in the jam! I was instantly turned off. We told the staff which weren’t apologetic, they replied I’ll get the chef to make you another. Which I just wasn’t hungry anymore. When we left a few of the girls working just gave us dirty looks. 1/10 wouldn’t recommend to anyone!

Friendly and helpful staff, great food and a lovely atmosphere. We had the falafel salad and lobster roll with a glass of shiraz. All were delicious, highly recommend

A disappointing brunch.....even though we arrived 15 minutes before end of breakfast service we were reassured that service was still opened. Our order was avocado on rye and the gallery omelette. The avocado on rye sprooked heirloom tomatoes... There were no heirloom tomatoes evident on the plate and a 5ml drop of whipped goats curd over a barely ripe avo ,does not pass the pub test... the gallery omelette was also underwhelming... a few crumbs of feta, and a small portion of overcooked egg and an added ONE slice of mushroom ( $4.50 extra, are you kidding) . It appears by the quality and quantity of food on our plates it was well below par. Dogs are allowed so be prepared for dogs at the table ugghh. Will never go back as had a very similar experience previously poached pear!!! Yuck . The wait staff however were curteous , very professional and friendly.

Lovely homemade food, great Will and Co coffee, easy street parking. Don’t arrive late though - getting there at 1.15 we were first told the kitchen was closed but then the lady said they could do a home made quiche - which was delicious! Moral - get there before 1pm!

The staff always go out of their way for you. Food is excellent, coffee amazing too! Nothing is too much trouble. Highly recommend the Gallery Cafe for the convenience of parking, attentive staff and overall customer service. Thank you for always looking after us.

One of the best cafe experiences I've ever had. Really good pricing, lovely staff and great food. We even had a citrus tart for dessert and I can say with 100% confidence it's the best one I'll ever eat. Love love love!

I came here with my three kids and the food and service were just perfect! The vegan board with avocado, pickled vegetables, roast pumpkin and so many delicious extras was just mind blowingly good. My kids said it was the best breakfast ever and they had the bacon and egg rolls. The coffee was perfect. If I could give 6 stars out of 5 I would! Definitely Coming back here. ❤️

Bit of a gem on a sunny day! Good for an early start with the warmth on you sitting at tables on the grass. Food was delicious and fresh and coffee absolutely brilliant. Thank you to the team for great friendly service. Easy to park but street parking fills up with town workers.

Arrived at the Gallery at 9:45am for breakfast today and ordered virtually straight away, 10:30am still no breakfast, waitress come to clear table next to us and asked how everything was. We informed her that we haven't received anything yet, when waitress come back we were told that our order hadn't been placed and that they were going to be rushed through. Finally received our meals at 11:05am. Breakfast looked like it was just thrown on the plate, extremely small portions and totally disgusting and it was cold. 2 x eggs your way on turkish bread......scrambled eggs tasted like fish, one small piece of bacon for 2 meals. 2 x Eggs benidict, again disgusting, both meals were cold. The owner come to clear the table and ask how the meals were.....we explained how disappointed we were in the meals provided. Her response absolutely infuriated us.......she just laughed and said life goes on. Final straw was when we went to pay the bill, today being a Sunday there was a 10% surcharge, our bill came to a total of approximately $104.95. When received the the receipt we noticed that we had been charged extra for scrambled eggs, when we asked for an explanation again the owner laughed and told us that to make scrambled eggs you need 2 eggs. And the only discount we received was $4, to say we were disappointed and disgusted is a total understatement. We DEFINITELY won't be recommending this place to ANYONE and will NEVER go there AGAIN.

Lovely little space in Ballina. Super friendly staff. We ducked in for some breakfast on the way to a friend's house as this was the most popular cafe on yelp in Ballina according to 65 other people. I haven't been anywhere else in Ballina, however, would recommend this place. Indoor and outdoor seating available, good coffee and cheap prices! I'm comparing the prices to an average Sydney breakfast though FYI.

Up from Sydney visiting family and have had both breakfast and lunch this week and both meals were amazing, service was second to none. Beautiful shaded spot, with easy on site parking and outdoor tables. Good for both kids and dogs and staff were so accommodating - we will be back!

I googled Best Breakfast in Ballina, and the Gallery cafe came up. It was the best feed, and the size of the big breakfast was gigantic! The gallery rosti was also delicious. Top service, top food, top setting. Thanks Gallery Cafe.

Must try their premium porterhouse steak, 12hour slow cooked brisket burger and lobster sandwich. I like their chips too! 😊👌💯🥖🥩🍟

Cannot recommend this place more!!! It all started with the long haired yahoo waiter… amazing service and tasteful small talk!! Then came the food… disgusting ~ DISGUSTINGLY GOOD!! The icing on the cake was the lighthearted joke made by the lovely waitress. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience 10/10

While the food and service from the wait staff was great we were very disappointed when we went to use my birthday voucher to discover that the current owner would not honour any vouchers issued by the previous owner. I contacted them via phone and email to resolve the situation but never even received a reply.

The food Is great at the Gallery, the service is quick and the staff are friendly. Book at busy time because the cafe is very popular. The actual Art Gallery is great to see too.

Happy we skipped the BP on highway and found this beautiful Cafe in Ballina. Service and coffee was great, breakfast was fantastic. We will definitely take the time to turn off next time we are on highway 😃

I enjoyed breakfast here after a one-night stay in Ballina. How lucky is Ballina to have such a great cafe! The menu covers all the breakfast bases. Service was pleasant and efficient and everything happened seamlessly as you would like it to, but often doesn’t these days. My flat white was the best coffee I’ve had out in a long time. My beautifully cooked omelette arrived “open”, with all the fillings on top. I was initially taken aback by the presentation, but enjoyed eating it that way. Most diners, some with pets, were sitting at tables on the grass out the front of the cafe. Breakfast dining doesn’t get much better than this.
