I travelled to the area a few times, mostly staying at a local motel, my Ramada experience was very good. Room was tidy, well appointed. WiFi was more than adequate for business needs. Designed with co-shared entrance with laundry for two rooms was a new experience. Well located, walking distance to restaurants and a woolies. There is a lovely walk from the hotel along the river towards the ocean. Parking was good, space adequate. The restaurant was closed when I stayed, but There are plenty of local options nearby.

Would recommend this hotel to each and every member of my family and friends. Everything was spotless and clean and requests from reception were delivered immediately with a friendly smile. Would stay again and would recommend to anyone! Highly recommend the river view room.

Booked a two room suite at short notice. We needed to store baggage before, during and after our short stay. The level of service provided was exemplary. Our request for an iPhone charger was satisfied within a couple of minutes, with a smile. Our suite was spacious, well equipped and had lovely views over the river. Strong winds kept us off the beach, but the hotel pool was very nice. Unfortunately the in-house dining was not available, however their is an excellent Italian restaurant less than 40 metres from the front door. Will definitely be back at the slightest excuse. I highly recommend a stay here.

Room was lovely. Great view's. Disappointed with no room service and with the restaurant directly downstairs 😒. On the last day we saw dolphins just outside. Lovely way to finish a two day break away.

Absolutely loved our stay, one night was not long enough! We were celebrating our engagement and the staff were fantastic. The rooms were modern, clean and beautiful with everything you need. Amazing view on the river and a great restaurant downstairs. Highly recommend.

Check in was quick and easy. The room overlooked the river, it was amazing. The bed was very comfy. Check out only took 2 mins. Will be back.

Had issues with rooms, but staff very helpful to fix things up. Great views of the river. Close to city centre. Nice walk along the esplanade. Be back, best accomodation in Ballina.

We are a couple, booked in at short notice, excellent value, very modern, very comfortable, bar fridge in h hotel suite, very reasonable prices, overlooking the river, heated pool, close walk to town, Woolworths and a choice of restaurants, and pubs. Very friendly staff, nice shampoo/ conditioner and body lotion to add to the luxury of your stay, wonderful hot showers. We loved watching the activity on the river. Book in you won’t regret it. 😀

Whenever I’m the area I stay here. Town is no Byron Bay, but that is why I like it. This hotel has one of the best locations in town. Good rooms, bed and showers.

Our weekend here at Ramada was fabulous! Such a relaxing place to chill and recharge. This Hotel ticked ALL the boxes. Delicious food. Excellent service. Quiet. Comfy bed (my huz always complains about the bed, but not at Ramada). Fantastic spa bath and shower. No waiting time for the lift. Staff were super prompt when I needed assistance navigating the TV channels and remote. Great location. I have found our weekend getaway for regular R&R.

The Ramada Hotel in Ballina is a really lovely place to stay. The location is excellent, being right on the river and in the middle of town. The rooms, service and facilities are all first class. We really appreciated the undercover parking and the friendly welcome upon arrival.

We have stayed in the Executive Suite Room 608, on several occasions, what an amazing room on the top floor with a huge balcony with over 270 degree views of the water. Highly recommend this room, it has a very comfortable bed, we will definitely be back again.

Great location close to alot of great restaurants, clean room with a nice view, welcoming staff and easy parking.

I have attended meetings there and also had several meals at the restaurant there. I would recommend this venue for the mentioned events and also if you are looking for accommodation within easy walking distance of the CBD . Also has a beautiful riverside walk for a relaxing stroll

Pretty good room for a pretty good price, I have been waiting for food for 3 hours. The staff are great though friendly and helpful just don't eat here if you want your food.

We've stayed a few times now and it's consistently good. Lovely location overlooking the river. The rooms are comfortable with a coastal vibe. Worth paying the difference to have river views. Staff is lovely. Handy location with some very nice restaurants downstairs. Only thing we'd change is the noise of the doors when they close. There is a shared foyer with room next door. The doors are very noisy when they close. We had a sudden wake up, out of an otherwise great night's sleep.

Beautiful place to stay room had views on the river n balcony so quiet n peaceful had dinner at there restaurant pork belly and vegetable’s and a seafood 🦞 dish both lovely nice cocktails 🍹 would recommend this place for a peaceful getaway Nice breakfasts 🍳 also

Lovely customer service. All the reception staff were so helpful and kind . Great views of the sunset specially from the downstairs bar! Rooms were clean and nice only issue was that our aircon didn't work!

I have stayed here before and this time just as great. This is one of the best places I've stayed at. The view is magic , river rooms worth it watching the beautiful sunsets and sun rises. Love the boats going by the the water splashing. Room super clean and comfortable. Just love this place. Superb location. Wish I was staying longer this time but short visit for a wedding. I'll be back

Nicest Ramada in the universe! Everyone was friendly and the room was glorious (the sunrise from our balcony was awesome)… there are multiple food/bev options on-site… it’s in a great location. After check-out, the host graciously allowed us to leave the car so we could wander around the city for a few hours. Well done y’all, thanks from Texas :)

This room, the Executive Suite is on the south east corner of the top floor. What a great room, the view from the balcony is sensational with almost 270 degree view of the river and the heads. We personally love the location, so central with only a short walk to the River Street shops. Close to several cafes, numerous restaurants and Woolworths is only a couple minutes walk, less than a block away. We were only here 15 mins and saw a pod of dolphins and a turtle. We have stayed in this room before and will definitely be back again.

I Stay at Ramada Hotel Ballina for a wheelchair access room with nice view Balcony for 5 nites , not far from shops , restaurants , Woolworths & Ballina Information Centre to have a look the brochures & gifts also can go by bus to get there at Lismore or Byron Bay its nice to go out 👍.

I stay here regularly for business, about 40-50 nights a year. They are always welcoming and make me feel appreciated as a regular guest. Very happy with the quality of rooms, the cleanliness and proximity to great dining options. Can't beat the view of the river at sunrise and sunset.

The weather was awful when we were there so could not enjoy the Balcony. Room overlooked the river as promised and the view from the small balcony would have been excellent if the wind and rain had allowed us out there. The room was mostly clean. There was a hair on a pillow that did not belong to us but otherwise it was good. There is no toaster or microwave in the room. The mugs for tea and coffee are a good size and not those tiny cups that hold two sips that you find in most places. The staff were all very friendly and eager to help. There are several places to eat within walking distance, although they all seem further away in the terrible weather. Woolworths is also close. The room was quite small but as it's designed for only two people, it is adequate. There was a table and chairs as well as a chair at the desk and a patio setting out on the deck. The bed was quite hard, but I like that. Tv was a good size for the room. Bathroom was roomy with a separate shower and spa bath. I would definitely stay here again if I got a deal like this time. It's a bit expensive for me at full price but worth the money.

Location is good. Room services finishes at 8.30 and choices not great Rooms itself are clean and comfortable Bathrooms mouldy Air-conditioning broke in the middle of the night Laundry has no ventilation so when the dryer is on there is water all over the walls.

Great place to stay located right on the river. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. Views are beautiful especially at sunset. Easy walking distance to cafes and restaurants with the local RSL about 10mins walk away. Stayed here a few times and will continue to return.

Fast wifi and comfortable beds in room. Nice view of sailboats. I am not a seafood fan so I didn't eat in hotel restaurant. Underground parking was very tight entry ramps.

Love it. We had problems with our spa the first night. The manager assisted and gave us another room. This one was even better, overlooking the river.

Still staying at the moment in the suite. Housekeeping totally horrendous. They just make beds and replace towels. They do not clean the toilet bowl and sink. They do not clean the cups you used. They do not empty the rubbish bins. Is it normal standard in Australian hotels? Funny thing is when I asked for extra hand towel, housekeeping staff told me it was standard that there should only be one in the room until I insisted and she grudgingly handed me one. The next day, I requested again but was instead given extra floor mat. Truly perplexing.

Nice room with pleasant outlook. Good location. Traces of previous occupant remained. Issues with operation of A/C & toilet. Some noise problems. Housekeeping was disappointing during our stay.

Great river front location. Good friendly service and reasonably priced food. About average value but you are located in area with great river views.

From the money you walk in to checkout the staff are friendly and very helpful. The room was great, the bed was soft and big. The shower was nice, towels were soft and bigger then other hotels I’ve stayed at. Our room over looked the pool and town, the balcony was nice to sit and have a coffee and meal. The hotel is in the perfect location, easy to walk to shops and walk to river. Can’t wait to comeback and stay again
