👍👍 Finest meal on the island. We hit other favorites (Grand Ole House, Bacaro, etc.), but the complexity of the flavors at the Cracked Conch are on par with a Michelin 1 star. Our waiter, Cory, also knew the food, ingredients, and rounded out a phenomenal experience. People often mention good, service, delicious, great, restaurant, Conch, amazing, Cracked, Cayman, lunch,

The food was delicious, and the servers were nice. It is quite busy here, so you will not get your personal server Iike back in the state. The servers are busy, but they try their best to get to you, just be patient. Everything is great until you see the food portion (small) and the price. If anyone goes with family or friends, make sure to have plenty of money because the currency exchange rate is the same as UK. The view was awesome as well, right by the ocean.

Absolutely worth the visit. Eat then snorkle or vice versa. Entrance to the reef is by the outside restaurant. No entry fee. Saw stingrays, tarpons, and many other fish. You're greeted by many fish once you enter the water. The water is calm and amazingly clear. There is also a scuba dive shop onsite. Park your car in the restaurant parking lot, or in the lot just before the restaurant. Great snorkeling, great service, and delicious food! Try the Cracked Conch and Cobb salad.

["Food was very good. I had the burger and it was juicy and tasty, as was the Cesar salad and Fish and Chips. Loved that you can snorkel or dive directly from the outside bar\/restaurant area. Be advised if everyone in your party leaves the table for the water, you have to move your snorkel gear to an alternate location if you bring your own. You also have the option to rent gear there. A word on the snorkeling there, the wind is usually high on that side which causes pretty decent swell when entering the water from their ladders. And the current can sometimes be a bit much for beginning swimmers.",null,[0,237]]

This is the best restaurant in Grand Cayman. Sit outside and watch the sunset and hear the waves lapping against the beach. Super knowledgeable staff. We had a waiter named Cory who was just the best. Oh, and the food was over the top good. Must try the wahoo!

Flawless! Taste, texture, presentation, menu description and service timing - wow! It's Michelin * level in the most unexpected place. The hostess is adorable, and the waiter is a Sommelier'3, enough to say that he enhances the experience with elegance, knowledge on top of the lovely greetings by the entrance. In this case, the manager gets totally obsolet, tbh. The cuisine is exquisite. Hospitality is fantastic. Sunset is breathtaking! Location is easy. Wine list is vast enough. Price is fair. Ambience... well, you have to go there to experience it yourself.

this spot was a dream! the menu has plenty of variety, service was fast, and the views are spectacular! We enjoyed a bacon cheeseburger and a falafel wrap as well watched scuba divers make use of the entrance leading to the reef. Sting rays explored the little cove just feet from our table, such a great spot! also a major bonus, bathrooms have an independent A/C unit if you need a second to cool down!

This was the Best lobster on our vacation so far. The lobster bisque was absolutely delicious. Highly recommended!! Gorgeous sunset. Our sever was nice but a bit slow. He took a very long time to return to our table after seating us and we didn't even have a drink before ordering. So we ordered everything at once in case we didn't see him again!! Lol. Our appetizers arrived by the other staff and our server hadn't brought our bottle of wine! Food is fantastic, unfortunately server was not.

This review is for the Tiki bar at Cracked Conch. First, the location is really cool - different from the calm waters along Seven Mile Beach this spots out on the rougher waters of the northwest point of the island. The really great things are the unique view, sun sets from the tables that extend out from the restaurant. I guess they allow dogs as we had dueling barking dogs from three different patrons that were sitting close together - why folks must bring their dogs to a restaurant I’ll never know….The service is efficient but at times a little cold. The food is good, in two trips we’ve had the wings, conch platter, coconut shrimp and conch fritters. Prices are moderately for Cayman and portions are on the smaller side. Overall, worth the trip ! Enjoy.

We visit Macabuca multiple times on each of our annual trips to Cayman. The vibes, the food, the setting…all immaculate. We love Macabuca so much! Can’t wait to return.

["Macabuca, Cracked Conch, Snorkeling & Sunsets - This place has it all and is AMAZING! In 9 days I think we ate at these places 5 times and snorkeled just once. I would increase that ratio on the next trip. Great food, service and the atmosphere is hard to beat. If you don't dine at each of these then you've not experienced one of the best parts of Grand Cayman!!! AWESOME RESTAURANTS & CREWS!!!",null,[0,236]]

["My family and I stopped here for lunch after visiting the Sea Turtle Centre and if you're looking for a quick bite, I definitely recommend!! The drinks were fantastic, the scenery was beautiful, the food was good, and the service here was great. For drinks, I ordered the Macalada and the Raspberry Blastoff which were both delicious. As for my meal I ordered the classic burger with cheddar, bacon, and a side of fries. Thanks for allowing us to have a great experience!!",null,[0,238]]

Loved it, and so did the kids. Wear your bathing suit and take a quick snorkel around the dock while you wait for your food to come out. Amazing setting, great staff and delicious food. What more could you ask for? Update: We loved it so much, we went back for another lunch before the end of our trip. The Hummus is excellent. The coconut shrimp is delicious. The staff was once again fantastic. The kids snorkeled off the dock and saw the best underwater life of the trip. We almost couldn't get them out of the water to eat! Put this on your must do list for lunch in Grand Cayman. Bring your snorkel gear!

Great dining experience and very good quality food. Would recommend as either a regular meal out or a special occasion. The bar indoors is very relaxed and has a wide range of drinks. Dinner is either out on the terrace or partially enclosed verandah style area. The menu had some good options and very nice desserts too! Good selection of wine too. Staff were helpful and friendly, good service and would definitely be here more often.

Came here after visiting the Cayman Turtle Centre last January. The Cracked Conch is out of this world (crispy, tender, juicy)! The rest of the food is amazing too along with the staff and the views. One of our best meals on the island.

Cracked conch is my favorite restaurant in Cayman. The food is extremely flavorful with clear thought and balance placed in creating each dish. It’s cravable. Oceanfront with attentive staff. Would recommend 100%.

There are two restaurants at this location in the same building. We ate at the lower one. Food was tasty, I had a chicken quesadilla and the wife had shrimp Alfredo pasta. Both were cooked perfectly! We also had a homemade Ice cream sandwich and it was awesome! We sat at a table adjacent to the tide pools and watched small crabs and birds while we ate. The food was reasonably priced. We would totally eat here again! And we did! We ate again one evening during a small storm and it was awesome again! The seas crashed right into the restaurant! We actually went night diving right from the stairs of the restaurant!

What an exceptional restaurant! Excellent service. Very clean restrooms. The view is fantastic. People jump right in the water from the restaurant and go scuba diving. Their hush puppies are fantastic. I would also recommend one of their delicious beverages. I had the Caesar. It was like an island themed bloody Mary. If you like to smoke cigars they allow it. If you like to eat good food they have it. Plenty of seating and wildlife around. Enjoy this treasure which is off the beaten path.

Been on the island for 7 days now, eating breakfast, lunch, and dinner out every day. This place is the worst. Way too busy waitress, didn't explain anything, just threw “no lobster, no conch today” when providing the menus. We had our baby with us and no one offered a highchair. When we asked for one- they brought one that was broken, we asked for another one, and that was broken as well :( had to bring our stroller from the car to sit the baby. The food was just plain. Mashed potato seemed to be reheated in the microwave as the insides of the “scoop” was cool. Not what we expected to get for the price they charge. Definitely would not recommend this place and regret we decided to stay despite the highchair issue.

Poor service, super unfriendly staff, coconut mudslide had 0 taste, price wise compared to the beergarita it's small and not worth it.

One of the MOST incredible dining experiences of our lives! Definitely pricey but every bite was an amazing array and layering of flavor. We had the Snapper and Mahi Mahi, both of which were delicious. See descriptions below. Had the Mai Tai and Rum punch, also good! We finished with a chocolate taco and a Guava Cake, amazingly delicious desserts!! We’d give this place 10 stars if we could!

Loved the whole concept. Food was delicious. The people watching was great as it's also a hub for scuba divers and snorkelers. You can have some food and then rent some snorkel gear and go down the ladder and straight into the water. Lots of nice marine life to see. Staff is very helpful in pointing out where the best marine life can be found.

Macabuca always delivers. The views of the sea, the sound of the waves, the relaxed friendly atmosphere, and the service, prices, and food are all reasons to visit Macabuca. The Monday night BBQ is fantastic value and the food is great. If you're in West Bay, please visit.

This was my very first time to the Cayman Islands and we stopped by here while out and after the Turtle Centre and I will definitely be back at this same place again. The employees are very friendly and nothing beats the beautiful view of the Caribbean Sea and the amazing food. The shrimp tacos are the best I ever had!!!!

We stopped for lunch at the suggestion of many friends and we weren’t disappointed. Let’s start out with the view off the back dining area: Amazing. You can snorkel and scuba right off the dock, snapping some amazing photos. The staff was really friendly and made some great recommendations of what to do in the area. Everything we had on the menu was excellent. I had the Conch sandwich, so good. The homemade ice cream sandwich was a special treat.

Hanger steak was delicious. Lava cake was the best ever. First time we sat outside. Second time we ate in the bar. Tanner took great care of us. Recommend reservation. Restaurant is on the shore. You can snorkel and dive at this location.

I absolutely love this restaurant! If you’re coming to Cayman this must be on your list. It’s great to snorkel at before your meal as well, super safe and very welcoming. We usually come here for Monday night BBQ but also love the dinner/lunch menus. The food is good, solid quantity and drinks are reasonably priced. The service is also good and attentive even when there are many people there. Would so recommend this place to anyone! Also you must try the ceviche it’s so good!

Everyone raves about this place and I finally got to experience why! The drinks are on point, food is fantastic, service is great. We loved lunch so much, we had to come back for the Monday night all you can eat BBQ! AND GOT THE TSHIRTS! Oh, and they have the cleanest restrooms ever!

  • 5/5 Geetha F. 2 years ago on Google
We tried many spots around this island and this place wins hands down for the quality of service, the flavors and the variety of food. Something for everyone. The best place for ceviche. Tried the tuna and the conch. They were out of the coconut ceviche. But if the two we had are an indicator, my bet is the coconut ceviche is amazing. Mixed drinks hit the spot and they have taps with local brews. For dinner we were eclectic. We had a cesar salad and it was exactly what it should be. I have the seafood curry with rice and loved it (I am of Indian descent) and my son had the jerk chicken panini. The panini according to him wasn't flavorful enough. But hey... The views are the best and the people that work here just really nice. Plus they added a sign for Ukraine on their sign 💕 So after a week here, this is my #1 spot!

Despite having the worst waitresss ever (totally ignored us for 45 minutes) we loved this place. On the water. Snorkeling right there at the bar. And good drinks and food.

Fabulous place to visit for food, scenery, snorkeling, and diving. The food was awesome, and the pina Coladas with Havana Club 7 finished it off. Must place to visit when visiting Grand Cayman.

After a long beach day we were all a little bit hangry and needed a place to eat where we didn't necessarily have to shower off and get totally ready. We had passed the tiki bar previously and thought we would go check it out. Such an amazing restaurant, tons of seating and beautiful views! The menu is super kid-friendly and there are lots of options to choose from. The shrimp tacos were fabulous! Staff was friendly and efficient, drinks were cold and refreshing. Definitely recommend!

Great place for upscale dining and lunch with excellent cuisine and view. Lunch at Macabuca, dinner at Cracked Conch. Very good menu, wine list. We tried an octopus, HOUSE SMOKED WAHOO TARTARE , tuna crudo, SHORT RIB TORTELLINI. Tortellini was so delicious. We ordered it twice. Amazing ceviches and tacos were downstairs at the bar. Expensive, but worth it.

We came back here several times during our stay in Cayman. Just a good, casual bar to have some tasty local beer and seafood. Great sunset views each time!

  • 4/5 Sara H. 1 year ago on Google
Great dinner experience all around. The menu is a little limited but everything we tried was sipper delicious. From the white conch chowder to the wahoo special to the Crème Brule. Two of us made due with 2 small plays/apps and were comfortably full in the end. Definitely on the must go list. Outside seating was pleasant in the evening, not sure how pleasant it would be midday to early afternoon.

Perfect spot for lunch after checking out turtle center or dolphin discovery. Right on the water, tiki bar with fun music and overall ambience. Friendly staff. Conch Fritters and Maca Burger were so delicious; we finished everything.

Ok!! I enjoyed the meal at the Cracked Conch! Did not get to try out the Macabuca tiki bar below, but I've heard nothing but great things. Maybe next time! At the Cracked Conch, the waiter was very attentive, gave good recommendations, and ensured we were comfortable. The food was delicious! Conch Chowder was great, and the Snapper fillet was amazing! Prices are a bit steep, but my friends treated me because it was the last day with them before I had to return home. They also have plenty of options for wine and other alcoholic beverages. You can dress up or dress down. It's by the cliff with a beautiful view of the sea. Overall, it was a wonderful experience!
