The location is very nice. But the homestay didn't provide basic things like soap or hand wash for the washroom. The staffs were not informed about our stay even after booking on the previous day. After reaching the homestay we communicated with the staffs available there, they called the owner and then he confirmed. Before reaching I tried to call him but unfortunately his number always seemed busy. Visited this place last week. After reaching the place I with my family entered the homestay and after having the lunch started for ketaki lake and then Khandarini lake, while returning to homestay on same day our car had some breakdown in the middle of some jungle trail as we tried a short cut suggested by a traffic police. Tried to communicate with the homestay owner from that time may be from 5:30 pm but his number seems always busy. After several attempts somehow connected him and informed that we are at Belpahari with our to do the repair and won't be able to return the homestay on that night. We were very disturbed and tensed about our car so we stayed at Belpahari. The next day we visited Kankrajhor to collect our luggages, then the scene started. I asked the owner on the call (from his staff's mobile as we couldn't reach him from our number neither he connected us after that night) about our bill even though we haven't taken any facility or any meals there, we just kept the bags and had the lunch and still charged the full amount. I requested him but he said that I should have informed him that we were not taking meals. Whereas he was informed that we were not returning to the homestay the previous evening. On the stay the staffs provided the meals in a very lucrative way but the quantity was very less as while asking for more rice and other items they were hesitating, overall this service also was not up to the mark. It was our unfortunate that we had a breakdown of our car but we haven't received minimum cooperation from the homestay owner. Wasted my money. Totally unsatisfied. Not recommended at all.

Jhinuk camp 🏕 is a serene and scenic place where you can experience the traditional village life and the tribal culture. The staffs🧑‍💼 are warm and hospitable, the food is delicious and authentic, and the activities are fun and diverse. You can enjoy the nature, the campfire, the tribal dance, and the snacks without any distraction from the internet or the city🌆. The camp is also affordable and well-located. It is a place that you will never forget!📆

One of the best resort in Kankrajhor.Amazing place in Jungle. Jhinuk camp is situated lap of the hill. Food was awesome.Staffs are very friendly. Complete guidelines provided by Owner for visiting Jungle Mohol. If you are looking for a couple of relaxed days this could be a definite choice of stay.

Jhinuk camp is surrounded by nature...that gives you goosebumps.but their management condition is too poor.. owner isn't present with us,so employees are not too good at their service..no proper electricity condition. So this camp is not for the child's comfort zone..

Great experience... A place with almost zero network connection - exactly what we wanted... Food is really good, and must mention about the manager Sudipto... He was always available with a smile , to all the demands of one my cousin 🤣. Still a work in progress(almost reaching the end), the owner was open to our feedbacks for improvements. They will probably add some activities on the premises so that the guests can enjoy those while remaining disconnected from outside world.

Before visiting, it's crucial to understand that this place isn't a one-size-fits-all destination. If you have a baby or a small child, it might not be the perfect choice. In this remote village, the electricity supply is unreliable, and there's no phone network or internet access. However, if your child is a nature enthusiast, this place can be a hidden gem. I've observed children from other guests who truly relished playing and exploring the natural surroundings without any complaints. This isn't a destination for those seeking late-night partying. It's nestled in the heart of nature, and one should savor it without disturbing the environment. Immerse yourself in the enchanting sounds of birds in the morning, bask in the warmth of the crisp winter sun, watch the clouds caress the small hillock next to the camp, appreciate the diverse flora and fauna, and take leisurely strolls around the village or the forest's edge. In this place, you won't find phone network coverage or the option to purchase souvenirs. However, if you appreciate tranquility and unspoiled natural beauty, you'll find this place truly special. The local staff may not provide luxury hospitality, but they are genuinely caring. If your expectations aren't too high, you can enjoy their warmth and hospitality. While the cleanliness of the rooms could be improved slightly, it's not a major concern. The food is good, but it shouldn't be the primary focus of your visit. The shal-pata chicken is decent, and if you visit during the season, you might get to savor some delicious mohua as well. What truly shines here are the location and its breathtaking surroundings. P.S: It's worth noting that we were pleasantly surprised when they didn't charge us for the extra pakoras we enjoyed in the evenings.
