This restaurant is always busy on holidays. Outside, you can see delivery men waiting for the takeaway orders. Seating arrangement is comfortable for four and can be adjusted for larger numbers. Steamed momos are well cooked, Hakka noodles, fried rice, and with / without gravy chilli paneer / chilli chicken are hot favourites. Went with family and had a decent meal. The exotic vegetables dish can be skipped. Doesn’t fit. Has ‘ parbal/ potal’ served - that doesn’t go with the other items in the dish.

It is a nice restaurant to have food from. The people here are very helpful and courteous. The place is over the road and easily visible. There is roadside parking available in front of the restaurant. The only drawback of this restaurant is that it is very congested and has significantly less space with no windows and no view. The food quality is delicious, and they also give chopsticks to the table to have food, i.e. authentic Chinese cuisine. It is on the costlier side, but the food served quantity and quality can be justified with that.

Their service is awesome, and the caring nature for kids is too good, the atmosphere is not so attractive but simple. But they serve which is most important in a restaurant is Food, unlike others who invest in ambience but their food quality is not good.

We generally ordered many times through Zomato. But today we decided to do light dinner in Resturent. Now sea food festival is going on. We took Chowman's soecial soup, Pan friend Momos and Prawn Mix Fish Momos. All the food items were soo tasty! Me and my wife both really loved it.

I had a wonderful experience at Chowman Restaurant in Newtown, Kolkata. The food was excellent, and I was particularly impressed by the flavorful dishes I tried, including the Baby Corn Chilli, Veg Manchow Soup, Chilly Garlic Noodles, and Veg Coin Manchurian. The combination of flavors and textures was truly delightful, and the service was top-notch. I highly recommend Chowman to anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience in Kolkata

Chowman is my all time favourite, I have visited many times. This was my first visit to the New Town outlet. . The food and the service was awesome as always. However, this outlet a bit small and has very less seating capacity. Hence, feels a bit congested. . Over all, its nice.

The experience was great, food as usual very good, we celebrated a birthday for that they gave complimentary desert and a 10% off voucher for next visit, great service as well.

Was an excellent atmosphere , Staff behaviour was excellent the best i have experienced till now. Coming to the main thing food. It was the best chilli wine fish , fried rice and Konjee crispy chicken ( fresh lime soda also) I have had till now. We came here without any plans but god that you for bringing us here. Chowman is great in town.
