This cafe emits a retro rock vibe. Personally, I liked the ambience. If you're into rock, this place is a go for you. Coming to food, I ordered Chicken Hawaiian(topped with pineapples)pizza, one latte and Chicken Alfredo. The paasta was very rich, I liked the texture of it. The pizza crust was a bit hard, this could be improved. The latte was just fine.

This a place where you can go to chitchat with your friends with some good food and also u can suggest to those who are planning for a small reunion with friends.. A nice place but their sitting arrangements failed to impress me.. and they took a little bit more time to serve the order, need to wait quite a long for the items to be served.. Now coming to the food they tastes nice.. Ordered -Kiwi Mojito, Brownie shake, Iced Coffee, Pulled apork loaded french fries & Barbeque chicken onion and cheese.. Drinks were refreshing but I found the shake and the iced coffee were too sweet.. The sandwich was yummy.. Overall an average experience had there.. looking forward for an outstanding one next time.. Keep up the good work 😊

Awesome place with awesome foods. As I'm a YouTuber I must said they provide quality food. And also there ambiance with full of retro theme with Hollywood style. One of the best resturent in Kolkata. They also a sitting area in underground and also they don't charge any GST. As we saw one small sitting place can charge GST but they don't it is one of the plus point. And I ordered the foods. Like Healthy platter which cost 250/-, Veg Fried Rice 180/- and Black Chilly Chicken which is there signature dish cost 280/-. All items are tasty and impressive. I must say that their food is absolutely amazing! Every dish I tried was bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. The presentation of the dishes was also impressive and added to the whole experience. The staff were friendly and attentive, making the entire dining experience a delight. This restaurant is definitely worth a visit for anyone who appreciates delicious food. Highly recommended!

Very good cafe near to Rabindra Sarovar. It serves very good quality of food in medium upper range of price. Quantity is adequate and sufficient. Taste according to me is close to perfect. We tried their very famous Chicken and Mushroom Lasagna Pasta which tasted very unique and came with garlic bread. We also tried their chicken stroganauff which was decent in taste. Their have a underground sitting and upper sitting.. both decorated meticulously accompanied by retro Hollywood music. Atmosphere was 10/10. Staff behaviour is very friendly and cordial. Service is almost fast. Liked and must recommend.

We visited on Navami of 2023 Durga puja. The cafe has two storied but small outlet. The ambience is nothing special with adequate light and few retro posters and photos. But the main problem is with food, the quality is not good as per their price. The burger bread was cheap one and tastes very ordinary. The fries with cheese was very ordinary. The fish was 'Bombay Vetki' but tasted like ordinary 'ruhi'. The gravy tasted very bland and had no flavour. The chicken was chewy. Overall bad experience when I considered the time and amount we spent there.

This is one of the best places in the city for pork dishes. Tried a lot of things from their menu, don't miss their hog lovers reloaded which is of 6 inches, it's expensive at around 530. But if you go for the 12 inch one, you get four times the quantity for double the price, which is a good deal. We also tried their platters like Pork Mixed Grill and Darjeeling Pork platter and steaks like the pork tenderloin steak and Salisbury steak. The place is expensive and wait times are long but you'll not regret it for the absolutely drop down gorgeous amazing food, beautiful music and ambience and overall quality of service.

Had tasted their hog lover's pizza and fish n chips. For the meat lovers the pizza would be heavenly. The Service was bit slow. Nice playlist though. Cozy ambience and loved the decor.

A two storey restaurant located on the Southern Avenue. You can sit above or go down the spiral staircase to the basement. The decor is made up of rock music and photography memorabilia. We had the pork platter, bacon wrapped fries and pork wrapped fries. The quantity is a lot and the price is moderate. Service is amicable and they were readily available whenever we needed them.

When you think of continental food, Macazzo is a very popular name. It has a very unique underground seating area. The place is filled with classic album arts from 80s and 90s. The food is amazing. I have visited this place 4 times and each time they have surprised me with something unique. A must visit place if you are in Kolkata.

We went there a few days ago, a nice soothing area with most probably rock/jazz music playing in the background. Good hospitality. We took roast pork in smokey bourbon BBQ and an Oreo cheescake. The food is of good quality and one thing I really liked is that they didn't charge any GST. Idk if it was by mistake or not but it was very attractive.

I had the pleasure of visiting this cafe cum restaurant recently and it surpassed all my expectations. The ambiance is simply lovely - cozy lighting, comfortable seating, and tasteful decor which makes it a perfect place to unwind and enjoy a delicious meal. The food here is exceptional and fresh - from the salads to the desserts, everything is well-crafted and flavorsome. The dishes are not only tasty but also presented beautifully, which makes the whole dining experience even more delightful. The staff here are incredibly polite, attentive, and make you feel right at home. They are knowledgeable about the menu and go the extra mile to ensure that each guest is satisfied with their meal. The hygiene and cleanliness of the place are also commendable, and it is evident that the management takes great pride in maintaining high standards. All in all, this is a wonderful cafe cum restaurant that I highly recommend to anyone who enjoys good food and great service in a beautiful setting. Well done to the staff and management for exceeding my expectations - I cannot wait to return again soon!

A really nice place to catch up with friends over a continental palette. Food tastes really nice and price is reasonable. Desserts are just impeccable with Brownie over irish cream being a must-have for those who love to daringly explore.

I get the impression that this restaurant has seen better days. They have an excellent menu that would not be out of place in any American diner. Sadly, the food and service staff don't quite deliver up to expectations. Though they could turn it around with a little attention to detail.

When we arrived, it was totally empty. I liked the ambience as the theme is old Hollywood n old tape recorders cassettes. Such nostalgia all around! The staff was good n polite. The underground space is much more quiet n well decorated. The food was good specially the coolers. You can obviously spend a quality amount of time here.

Easy to locate. Well air conditioned. Has no parking lot or wheelchair accessible entrance. Has a dine area in basement too. Food was not very good but not bad either. Stuffs were friendly and helpful. When we were there, there wasn't much rush but the stuff came with bill even when we didn't complete our dining, they even forgot to serve the beverage we ordered and came with the bill. Overall, not a place I'd like to visit again.

Cozy cafe in a very good location. Great for sudden hangouts. Service is a bit slower but the quality of food is top-notch.

A bit on the costlier side, but the vibe and the atmosphere of American rock from the 70s won't disappoint... 1. Darjeeling pork platter 600/- 2. Salisbury steak (chicken) - a steak of minced meat...the peri peri sauce was quite spicy 3. Chicken au gratin The quantity of steak and au gratin was sufficient but I felt the platter was a bit on the lesser end. Overall a good experience..

A hidden gem of a cafe with a cinephile atmosphere! Chanced upon it during my Puja hopping and was blown away by their retro feel. You have to navigate a rather steep spiral staircase to reach the basement dining area but for me, that was part of the charm. Coming to the food, it's good. We had some Chinese fare and a Stroganoff. The preparation is good and portion size is acceptable. It won't blow you away but you'll probably come away satisfied. Recommend a visit!

Chicken & Bacon Lasagne is amazing, Ambience is pretty chill. There are two seating areas, the underground one is much better and cozy. Also, pocket friendly for the quantity you receive. Paradise for meat & pork lover ☺

Food tastes great, service was also good, but I didn’t like the ambience much. Would opt for home delivery next time.

// Macazzo // Located at one of the prime location in south Kolkata , the restaurant itself has set such a big brand for itself that on a good occasion we paid a visit there. The place did have some pretty good vibes. The theme was of the American pop music or the 80s and the 90s. So in terms of ambiance it was pretty good. But what dissapointed us the most was the food options. We went there during the Durga Puja and they do not shave any mutton or lamb dishes in their menu which might cause major dissapointment as many people consume mutton as the red meat and don't like pork. So be informed about this fact before you visit. Now if I have to talk about the food they were pretty decent. Specially the pork items were very tasty. But again in the drinks section they brought dissapointment as the Mojito that was ordered was so full of sugar that it killed our taste . So overall a pretty bad experience from such a big brand.

I tried Fiery Mystic Fish platter, Xacuti chicken with rice, sweet corn soup, Darjeeling chicken platter and Pina Colada. The food quality was overall good but could have been better. Some salad with Xacuti chicken would have been better and the quality of rice given should have been thinner than that provided. With the Darjeeling chicken platter some dips or sauce would have been better too. Overall good experience but could have been better.

very nice ambiance. ordered a bunch of food. tastes were very good especially the wings. a must try. tried the pulled pork burger. it was scrumptious and sloppy. don’t order if you don’t like messy food but it was perfect for me. the prices are on the expensive side. highly recommend to a pork lover.

All over good. The menu is quite fascinating. Foods were lip-smacking. 1.Cappuccino was not that great. 2. Chicken Manchow Soup was okayish. 3. Gondhoraj Pork tasted the best. 4. Chicken steak was enough for 1 person. The ambience downstairs was great.

The interior decoration of the restaurant is really amazing. It has a vintage/old music vibe all over the place. There's an underground dining place too. The restroom was clean. We ordered chicken lasagna and two drinks which were blue lagoon and kiwi refresher. All the items were bomb. We enjoyed the food and the ambiance very much. And the cost is reasonable as well. Staff behaviour was good too. Overall a 5 star from me.
