One of the best schools in West Bengal. Great Education System and Culture. It was established in 1957 by Swami Hiranmayananda. It's a fully residential school with one main Temple, two school buildings (Sarada Mandir for Seniors and Vivek Mandir for juniors), six hostels, one central hospital, one swimming pool, one auditorium, one gymkhana, more than 20 play grounds and so on. The campus is soo beautiful and peaceful with total campus size is 88 acres. It is such a school where "True Education" is given. I've spent the two most memorable years in my life here.

The Ramakrishna Mission Vidyapith, Purulia, an oasis in the heart of the dry rugged land of Purulia, is an educational institute par excellence, a completely residential school imparting man-making and character building education as envisaged by Swami Vivekananda. Vidyapith stands on the Barakar Road in the village Bongabari covering an area of approx 75 acres. RKMV Purulia is the school where rank is not the overall factor. In this school character is built and man making education is given. But in current situation result says the last word in which also this school is not a step backward almost every year the average percentage of the board examinees ranges from 80 to 90%. In the year 2017 it was 91.67% in madhyamik examination and record the highest average percentage in state board. Also it often give ranks.

Undoubtedly the best school in terms of everything in entire district. Love the cleanliness, natural beauty of this place.

I am not an alumni of RKMV Purulia. It used to be the best school in Purulia in the 80s and 90s. The Institute offers higher secondary education under West Bengal board, in both Bengali and English medium. It is spread across a vast area which is near the Purulia Medical College.The compound comprises of the Maa Sarada- Sri Ramakrishna prayer hall, school building, library, teacher's accommodation and administrative buildings. Please do visit if you are in purulia.

In the year 2018 it got "Best School Award 2018" in state and received prize from chief minister Mamata banerjee and Partha chatterjee

It was a nice place. There was so much peace and plenty of trees. If someone wants peace they can definitely go to this place. But there are some restrictions, you can't go everywhere in this place. The temple is open to all. Prayer time - 6:45 PM

Ramakrishna Mission Vidyapith, Purulia is a residential school for boys runs under the Gurukula system and is a branch of the Ramakrishna Mission. It was established in the year 1957 with the object of giving a practical and concrete shape to some of the educational ideas of Swami Vivekananda. School is affiliated to the West Bengal State Board and admits students from grade V through XII.

This place is beautiful and has a silent view. RKM Puruliya has 22 football grounds and some basketball ground . The main thing that I noticed was discipline and cleanliness. The staff are very good and helpful.

A reputable Institution where one can take lesson through gurukul system

It is situated beside Purulia-Barakar Road. Everyone can connect easily by local vehicles such as local buses,toto etc. There are so many food shops available.

The institution is itself an educational hub.

Huge space. Very neat and clean with calm envoirment. Houses 2 museums also inside.
