We went on a Friday night. It was extremely packed (shoulder to shoulder). There were lots of games. My kids were very excited. However, several games were "out of order." Between the body heat and lots of people, it was VERY hot. My husband, myself, and my kids were sweating; it was uncomfortably hot. There was a bar and a restaurant area. We did not eat at the restaurant. We went for the arcade games. My kids played several games, and the games are fairly priced for a place like this. Games averaged about 10 coins per game. I spent 60.00 for 400 coins. That was enough for 2 kids to play for about 1.5 hours. When we went to spend our "tickets," the store was also packed. We had 660 tickets. It was extremely unorganized in the store. There were signs in the wrong places. We looked around for about 20 minutes. My son found a little toy that had a sign that said, "300 tokens- squishy ball." It was literally a little squishy dollar store ball in a tin. We got in line and waited 20 minutes. We finally got to the register. The woman working scanned it and said it was 4000 tickets. I explained there was a sign with it that said 300. She said, "Well, too bad, the sign was probably moved like everything else in here. You don't have enough." I told my son to take her over there and see the sign and where it was located. She said, "ok." She went with him and came back and said, "I see what you're saying. It does look like it would go with that. But, no, like I said, it's wrong." The lady behind me had the same item and said, "The sign definitely says 300-squishy ball." At this point, the worker had already taken the item from my son and returned it to the shelf. When she came back to the register, I was mad. We had waited in line 20 minutes because it was so busy. At this point, we don't have anything to check out with. So I stood there and told my son, "Go to the wall and get a small item. I'm not getting out of line and waiting 20 minutes again." It was honestly awful. The lady should have just given him the item; it was a dollar store toy. At this point, I asked if I could pay for the squishy ball so we could be done with it. But, she said, "No." She then started talking to someone else behind the counter and was basically ignoring me. (But it was extremely busy in the store.) My son came back with a little 10cent toy for 300 tickets. I showed it to her and asked if we were all set. She literally didn't respond and scanned the item. I was NOT impressed at all. It would have been different if the prize was for an adult. But, my son is 6. So that was a little disappointing.

There are two Dave and Buster locations in Michigan. The one in Livonia is newer so I went to check it out. It's tucked away on a little side road with an easy in and out and large parking lot with plenty of room. It's very safe and family friendly. The staff was extremely nice and the place was very clean. They separated the gaming area and the food area which is probably a good idea because it makes it easier for families to settle down the children if they have to eat before going to play games. They have a large wall behind the bar with multiple TVs stretching up to the ceiling showing various sports, games, and news. This place is so new that when I went, there were literally employees building the hippo game as I was there. The place isn't huge but it is absolutely packed with games. One thing I loved was that it had a lot of the games that the other location in Utica had gotten rid of. Over the years, the Utica location being wiping out any games that gave tickets or prizes and replacing them with video games that, well fun, you could just play at home and you cannot get any prizes or tickets from. This is usually how all arcades go. The Livonia location however, I noticed had all my old favorite games. They had the monster collector and the mad scientist lab and tons of others that I had nearly forgotten about since the Utica location got rid of them. They do have their virtual reality ride as well. One other thing though that I did notice was that even though this location has more games to play, their ticket give out is way lower because they set the games that way. Perhaps it is simply because they are new. For example, in Utica the zombie snatcher game you can when up to 500 tokens in one puck. There's one 500 piece, 2 pucks if 250 worth, 1 zombie (300 and help build the jackpot), probably about a dozen 100 pucks, and then more in the amount of 20 and 50. The Livonia one maybe had 10 pucks in total, none of which went above 50. So it's a trade-off to have more variety and more games for fun but less payout per attempt. Their Winner's Circle is small but had some okay items but since the company is still recovering from the pandemic I haven't seen any good Big ticket items in years so I can't much comment on their selection until recovery time comes around. All in all I give it five stars and I hope it continues to grow and get business and I look forward to coming down again.

Have been to this Dave and busters a few times and a ton of other cool arcades. My experiences here have normally been pretty good, every once in awhile a lot of machines may be down which sucks but it is such a high volume place it’s expected that it happens here and there. They also have food here and although during this visit we didn’t get any I have ate before here and everything I personally had was really good. They have alcoholic drinks to for the adults hanging out if you want to grab a couple which are pretty good as well.

Dave and Busters is a money pit no matter what location you visit. But my kids needed a place to run around after being cooped up in the car for a road trip. We needed an indoor-out of the cold- place to visit. We got the 4 for $40 cards. Each with 300 points. It lasted an hour or so. I priced some of the prizes on Amazon: i could have saved myself a lot of money.... We got food at the restaurant. Idk why northern states like to drown their wings in sauce, but ok. It was fine. We got the Nashville hot and added Tabasco sauce because they weren't hot. Like, not at all. Just drowning in sauce. The waitress was nice but swamped with tables. Over all it was fine. The kids got some energy out and that's all that matters. If you want the 42 inch stuffed pickle- its $39.99 on Amazon.

Like everywhere else, this place is not immune to the current staffing shortages. The inadequate amount of staff made this a less than ideal visit for us. There was a very long line for cocktails, and although there were plenty of open tables, they closed the sections because no waitstaff was available to service them. We were very much looking forward to eating dinner and having a few cocktails, but it just wasn't happening this past Friday night. Despite the circumstances, the staff we did interact with were great.

We ordered food here and I got a side of asparagus. I literally got 5 pieces of asparagus. The portions are small for the price you pay. The games are fun. It looks like they are undergoing a large renovation right now January 2024.

I want to give them props. Not too busy on a Tuesday night in April. Came for my brother’s birthday during happy hour. Drinks were good. Food came out slow but was good and nothing was too long of a wait games wise. Some games were down, but they were working on them so that was good. No hate for them. Very good atmosphere. My brother was a very happy 19 year old.

Alot of the games are down the tech on the floor said he can't figure out why what a waste of time and money. Kids and adults come to play games that are down and techs are rude and not working on the units that are down over 20 gamed down and no hurry to be fixed.

Setting up company parties and private events are always enjoyable when we do them at Dave and Busters. Birthdays, weddings, or graduation parties are common. Friendly staff and numerous activities.

Came here Saturday night for my nephew's 25th birthday. I normally attend the one in Utica so this was my first time at this location. The games were awesome and the food amazing! There we numerous children of all ages enjoying themselves. One concern I immediately had after about 10 minutes was the fact that a "shot cart" was being wheeled around as if we were in a night club with all adults. I have never experienced an establishment openly selling alcohol that close to children(except liquor stores). The employees were pleasant and the service was swift. We played the VR game several times, it was so fun. I would probably visit the Utica location again before this one only because I don't expose nor consume alcohol in front of my children nor anyone else's.

Fun, family friendly place. Has a bar, plethora of games and a full menu. Place gets pretty packed on the weekends. The wait to be seated is long most of the time and the one time we had a reservation for a birthday party, we weren't provided with the seating we had requested and had to have our party split up. Servers weren't great the 3 times we went either. Had to wait over 15 minutes for silverware after our food was brought over the last visit. So, had to give them a 3 for the poor dining experiences. Okay place overall if you come during a special though. The chips can be expensive and the cost to play the games vary.

Didn't eat, but we played a bunch of games! This location has lots of fun games we've never seen or played at some other locations. Wasn't crowded or busy for a Thursday night either. Great prizes and great fun as always at Dave n Buster's!

Update: we went again for food and games. Menu was pretty good and we all had a good meal. Game selection was about the same, but it seems like more were available. Had a lot of fun here. The only thing that was a bummer is there were a decent amount of games that were out of order, but I think that's common in most game/arcade places. You could order food and pay right from your phone which is a covid friendly option. We had nachos and burgers which were both good. As an adult the beer selection was okay but they were out of a lot of items. Our waitress was very kind and knowledgeable and made it an easy process/experience. Would definitely go again!

Food was good, pricey for burgers and chicken nuggets for kids, and adults burgers. Was hard to have a conversation, it was very loud from games and music, we were celebrating our Grandsons birthday and he is autistic, so noise can result in him but having the best time. We did have a good time while we were there even with a couple hiccups for our family.

I came here with a big group of people and it was my first Dave and Buster’s experience. I haven’t played arcade games in a long time, but this was an absolute blast. The games were super fun and the service was pretty good. The only complaints I have is that some of the games were down and the food could’ve been a little better. Other than this, I had a very enjoyable time and would definitely come back.

We used to come here every Wednesday and last week was not as exciting. They got rid of their good coin pushers, which were huge here for people and it's made it less fun with the pushers that pour cards out. Change is good when it's fun and benefits everyone! But it wasn't good change. Unfortunately we will be driving 2 hours to another location versus 15 mins to see if they are better and if not, we will no longer attend Wednesdays. Bring back coin pushers and maybe we will come back.

It’s REALLY hard to enjoy a night out with the family when you’re met with negative and toxic attitudes and stares from the staff. ETHAN needs to get therapy because I think he gets off on making people confused, upset and frustrated. After many times trying to check out and pick prizes we were ignored and shut up with excuses of why he cant get the prizes off the shelf. He was so rude and smirked/stared us down any time he’d pass by in the winners circle area. He needs to get a life and fix his attitude or find a different place to work. So that MAYBE people who are coming to spend $200 for an hour of fun can actually do that, and HAVE FUN.

Their food is way too expensive for a gaming place and sports bar. I paid $53 for a salad, kids pizza an fries and strawberry shortcake. An the cooking was so slow every time we go.

The $20 promotion for the all you can eat wings and unlimited games is a scam... Once you pay maybe 1 out of every 10 games is included. I tried talking to a manager and she was just very rude to me about it and told me straight out "You will pay the $20!"Kristy was the 1st mangers name who said that then I asked for a different manager and a guy named Doug came by and was just as rude and wouldnt budge on working with me on the problem. I will never be back

They denied service to my friend because his ID was 2 days expired and we were going to celebrate his 21st here. The governor even said we cant just walk in and get an updated ID. I would completely understand if he wasnt 21 but how is that a good for business to deny and ruin someones night when they just wanted to have a few drinks to celebrate turning 21. I would love if corporate reached out to me. Because I was able to walk in and buy alcohol with an expired ID so why are they discriminating???

There was a very strong smell of sewage in the building. They clearly have a plumbing problem they need to fix. There were also many broken machines. It sad they don't take advantage of this big nice facility. It is not managed correctly. It could be really great if some simple things are done.

They were every rude especially the manager. It took forever for someone to come serve us we tried to get the managers attention and he kept going. I bought a groupon not to long ago and I tried to use it they told me the don’t do those anymore he claimed they stopped a year ago. When I showed him the groupon and he said that’s not our website I said yes I know he said yes but we been stopped doing those. Very unprofessional and rude.

Visiting with friends after an event at ford field. Waited two hours for a table and it was so worth it. We ordered the salmon and didn’t know what to expect and let me tell you it was 10/10 like WOW! Absolutely amazing one of the best & flavorful dishes I’ve ever had. Highly recommend coming here to try the salmon! Our waitress Phoenix was a total vibe and we had a great time!

Great place to have some fun! The arcade has a lot of game choices. The atmosphere is fun for both kinds and adults. The food is hit or miss, the mushroom stout burger was awesome (a little over cooked but good). The Nachos, on the other hand, were not as appetizing. They didn't taste great and lacked toppings. You were mostly eating chips. The places gets crowded fast after school hours, so I would recommend an early afternoon weekday if possible.

This was my 1st time here. I came to hang out and celebrate with family and friends for my Granddaughter 12th birthday! I went and ate well they enjoyed the games! The young lady at the bar that waited on my was pleasant and, did and excellent job attending to all the people that was there! I had the Fire Grilled Salmon, Center-cut Atlantic salmon grilled with Louisiana spices and peppercorn garlic butter. Served with garlic green bean medley and jasmine rice. Excellent! I will oder it again!

Having been to several Dave and Buster locations throughout the US, I was a little taken aback by the size of this location. The restaurant has no separation from the play area which leads to a very loud dinner (we could barely hear the people at the table with us). The games were a bit disappointing, and seemed a bit more kid oriented than I'm used to. The music was entirely too loud, I felt like I was at a club. Overall, the food was delicious and our waitress was amazing but I was just not comfortable with the music quite so loud.

We have visited this location several times. We usually go there first thing when they open. That way we are not waiting to play on a game that we want to play. Everytime we have gone the employees have always been so kind and courteous. We have not tried the food there. It's just fun being there and spending time with my son and to make him smile.

My son and I drove two hours to get here. We had heard a lot about this place so we decided to check it out and I am so glad we did! What a fun place! They have very video game you could imagine. It was fun and the food was good too. The meal prices were reasonable, much like you would pay at Applebee's. Every kid will want to order the glowing slushy drink. Never fear mom and dad, they have drinks for you too with a full bar and a wide variety to choose from.

This is such a fun place for a date night or even just a family night out with the kids. We've done both and have had so much fun. The food is good, their sliders are my absolute favorite. They have fun cocktails too. It is a little pricier but we expected that going in.

  • 5/5 Deangela W. 1 year ago on Google
It was a whole vibe.. the line be long so I suggest using the self serve machine.. Be mindful after you buy your tickets, get a table reserved before playing.. it took us 30 min til our table was ready so we played games til it was... my favorite game was the basketball ones but they offer a wide varieties of games..

Came tonight to celebrate my son's birthday and got a couple of the "Eat and Play" specials which were very good and allowed the kids to play a bunch. (Good value) My daughter also met up with us and ordered a steak which came out rather undercooked. The management got wind of the situation and immediately replaced her meal AND removed it from our bill to make up for the hassle!! Most places would have just got her a new one but D & B's went over and above! Great time was had by all!! Looking forward to coming back again soon!

When I got here and went inside I played ski ball, which was good, but in reality I came here because I thought it was a public park - which as you can imagine, was a total shock to my system. I just feel like this space could be much better utilized as a park, you know, a place for dogs and kids. 😞

Nice place to break up the winter routine. Overall the clerk and waitress were friendly. The food was decent at the restaurant. Need to keep up on cleanliness and the bussing of the tables . I would recommend a weekday as opposed to a Saturday night.

Terrible customer service.. rude staff in dining area I don't understand for the life of me why do people work in customer service and they don't like people or have a bad attitude you know what you signed up for smh

  • 1/5 Still H. 3 years ago on Google
Upon enter it smelled horrible. Can't even to describe the overwhelming stench throughout the building. Management more concerned about yelling over PA at customers who left dinner table to use restroom and forgot mask at table, 3 times, or used vape to try to cover smell. I don't like vapes but smelled way better than restaurant. Half of games were unavailable. Sat at table for 30 minutes before approaching manager to get a waitress to greet us and take order. Waitress Amber was great. Better off to buy $200 worth of steaks, fire up grill and put to xbox up on 2 big screens and stay home.

I've visited this Dave & Busters a few times. The food is always solid. Good portion sizes and kind staff. The games are plentiful, though there's always a few classics that are out of order. As always: a good time.

First time there. It was nice and big, game area was bigger and better than expected, although lots of games were down to social distance. The food was good and the prices are average. I had a chicken alfredo dinner for 13.99.. And u can actually win good prices for the amount of tickets u win unlike, say chuckie cheese lol will go back, on occasion.
