I donā€™t know what has happened here, this has been my family doctors for nearly 20 yearsā€¦ The last year it has become a joke, you canā€™t get through on the phone at all, you are lucky if you get out in a queue at all! I have suffered many health issues this year, some very severe to be told no appointments and I need to go to a walk in centre. (I dread to think what needs to be wrong with you to make you eligible for these magical emergency appointments)ā€¦. I have been for tests to be given medication but canā€™t get an appointment to find out what it is that the medication is for or what is wrong with me. Promises for call backs that never happen, even had a telephone appointment and they just didnā€™t call! The strange thing is this surgery used to be busy, getting a parking space was an issue yet you could always be seen within a week, now itā€™s like a ghost town, empty car park, no one in waiting room, receptionists chatting amongst themselves but you canā€™t get in to see someone for at least three weeks I donā€™t know what has happened here but please can we have our old surgery back????

So hard to get an appointment, I wish we could change surgeries. The online booking is OK, but you can only fill the form in during office hours which kind of defies the point, surely? The reception team can be rude and dismissive. Also talk loud enough that anyone in the waiting area can hear everything. Not great for anyone with personal issues. Dr Kate Roy is great *if* you can get to see her. I really appreciate the time she has spent with me.

It seems they are bad in purpose as this can be the only reason its like this. Receptionist staff are notoriously rude. Drs are on a huge wage but are reluctant to see patients and give out face to face appointments. DR kate Roy should be ashamed of how shes allowed this place to go so downhill. They know how to apppear to tick the right boxs to officials but in reality they are shocking how they operate when officals arent there. Lost samples. Drs dont ring your back ....ive even sat in the waiting room and rang the place it says 4th on the line...ive sat and watched nobody on the phones and you call comes though and answered when they decide its your turn. You can hear the receptionist talk about peoples medical history. Also there was hardly any visitors to the surgery...so most appointments must be on the phone as thats why its hard to get a face to face appointment; as they definatley arent coming in to the surgury. They use outside drs from other surgeries so the days have gone where you get your own family dr. Honestly somethings fishy is going of here. They have just passed a cqc check aswell. This in itself is a joke. The drs get the receptionist to look at your medical file and give results and advice.

I had my first appointment with this surgery 6 months ago. On that day I saw 2 doctors and had a blood test on the same day. They were extremely helpful and were very worried for my health at that point. The first doctor even tried to get to be put on medication that day, but I had to wait for my blood test to come back. Soon after, about 4 days later I was put on medication. They contacted the hospital and helped get me an appointment. I'm sorry for anyone that's had a bad experience with this surgery. Hopefully you will get a better service next time.

THIS IS THE WORST DOCTORS SURGERY ON NOTTINGHAM. They lost my sample so I did another one which they also lost. The doctors never call back and the girls on reception have no customer service skills. There is no discretion or patient confidentiality as the receptionist talks so loud and the reception is in the waiting area. Imagine 10-15 people staring at you and a receptionist thatā€™s saying talking extra loud, itā€™s just embarrassing. They have you sat on hold for 20-30 for them to end the call as it connects. There receptionists donā€™t communicate so I had 2 voicemails asking me to call back and when I didnā€™t I was met with ā€œI donā€™t know who called youā€ and ā€œdidnā€™t they leave a name and what itā€™s regardingā€. Then I was told that no one had called me so I had to physically go down and play the voicemails. Then they told me that it was a mistake. 3 weeks after my samples were sent of I went down again to see if my results were back and they couldnā€™t find it on the system so at that point I gave up. No one knows what theyā€™re doing and it resulted in me not getting the correct treatment and spending 2weeks in hospital on a drip. Iā€™ve had a word with my local MP and I advise other patient to do the same or nothing will be done.

Churchfields service has fallen off a cliff. I've been with this practice all of my life. Since Dr Harrison has left, it has gone to pot. The reception customer service is abysmal. I was fobbed off by the receptionist when I called to arrange an appointment with a doctor to assess me in order to get a repeat prescription. I was told I needed to speak to the hospital, who told me I needed the GP to authorise it. Back and forth for weeks, and it took my scheduled hospital appointment months later for the Surgeon to write explicitly to my GP requesting I get the medication I asked for months prior. (They wouldn't even let me speak with a Dr, these 'experts' at reception). Recently, I wanted another appointment with a Dr for a separate issue, which requires face to face assessment. I'm told I can only get a telephone call. I decided to give them a chance and requested not to call me between 5pm and 6pm as I will be commuting to work. Reception state it will be between 1pm and 5pm. -OK- .Half past 5, they call and then have the nerve to leave me a voicemail to say they can't call me back today, and that I'd need to arrange another appointment. It seems the day will come when the NHS is privatised and we will have to start paying private to be able to actually see someone. I try and be polite but the service here, if you can even call it that, is disgracefully bad. I'm looking at leaving but the same could be said about my Mrs' doctors who are nearly as bad. Our NHS is done for. I wonder why.

If I could give zero stars I would. Poor service everytime. You never get any help Just pushed to go walk in centre. Doctor calls back and then ask you what you want from them!! They avoid booking in any appointments, instead itā€™s a photo and a call!! Iā€™m not sure why I would go to a&e when my doctors are open and should be helping.

Absolute joke. Please do not go here. There's something iffy going of. Reception staff as you walk in can be rude. It's hard to get an appointment they use Dr's from other surgeries to ring you back. It's almost like they can't cope. cost cutting putting patients at risk with their decisions. This used to he a great Dr's, but it has sharply dropped.

Phoned up today for my mum was told to ring the stroke team as they have more details. I asked for a number they said we donā€™t have one I said I need help here which they said we cannot help. Then said thank you and put the phone down. I did ring the stroke team after finding a number and said itā€™s a medical issue and if the surgery will not help call 999. Ambulance arrived and 2 of the nicest crew you could meet. Thanks for the support churchfields. I have since had a call off Dr Roy who apologised for the treatment I received and as my mum is bed bound Dr Roy came out to the house and diagnosed a few issues. Thank you. I have had another experience with churchfields. My mum received a text inviting her to get a flu jab. Upon clicking the link this does not include patients who are bed bound so visited the surgery and ask the question about the flu jab and was told they are doing all the walk in patients first then we will then start to look at people who cannot leave the house so no need to worry we have this in hand. 5 weeks later called back asking about the flu jab and they said they donā€™t do home visits. I said that is not what I was told she apologised but said try the pharmacy or the district nurse. The pharmacy do not do home visits and the district nurse does not cover this. called back to the surgery and they said try different pharmacies. Thank you again churchfields.

Currently on hold. I have severe morning sickness and for around 6 weeks I kept being refused medication. One receptionist even told me, ā€œitā€™s just a bit of morning sicknessā€! Morning sickness thatā€™s affecting my liver. I needed to get a blood test done ASAP. I was told thereā€™s no available appointments and took book through the hospital. This surgery is a joke. Can never get through and then get questioned by the receptionist. Looking for a new GP.

Not happy. Was advised to see doctor for a referral, won't give me one. Was telling her about another problem and was told ( only dealing with one problem) what a total waste of time Never seen this doctor before and won't again.

I know how booked up the doctors can be and struggled to get through on the phone on Monday morning - probably their busiest day of the week. I needed to see the asthma nurse asap as was having chest problems. I decided to call down and spoke to the receptionist who said that the nurse was fully booked up for the next two weeks. She was extremely sympathetic, but physically couldn't fit me in. She tried the out of hours service but they had no asthma nurse. I asked if they could give me a call for any cancellations and early the next morning they rang! The receptionist had remembered me and knew I needed to be seen. Cate Gillibrand, my wonderful asthma nurse, saw me, took the time to really listen to what had been happening, examined me and then got Dr Glasgow in to listen to my chest. I had a chest infection and was prescribed antibiotics. Cate then talked me through a new regime for my inhalers. I felt so reassured and made sure I thanked the reception team for helping me before I left. I know how frustrating it is to call and not be able to get an appointment, but I know the practice is really doing its best and I can't fault the care I've had from the doctors and nursing team there over the years. The NHS is overwhelmed and completely underfunded. Get angry at the government, not the reception staff. It's so frustrating to see the display in the waiting room with the number of doctor and nurse appointments patients have missed. Thank you to all at Churchfields who continue to work so hard for the community.

After my visit to the practice today I wanted to write a review - Firstly DR Kate Roy is brilliant sheā€™s so thorough and really friendly, I always feel I can talk to her about anything she never rushes your appointment and always makes the time for you. The Nurse Cate is equally as good and always explains everything, again nothing is too much trouble. Although sometimes itā€™s difficult to get through sometimes, when I do I always get booked in and looked after. Thank you šŸ˜Š

The reception staff are ok, but the doctors here are absolutely terrible. They do not care about the patients and have asked me to pay money for fit note. It is absolutely abhorrent. The doctors here do not care about their pateints getting a appointment is impossible and if you do get one it is just a waste of time. Absolutely terrible. Awful

This place is an absolute joke, I now have a case on going with NHS England against these, if it carries on i will be seeking legal advice and going to court for neglect. These doctors are only here for there pockets and not our health, these have no care for there patients. DO NOT REGISTER HERE FOR A DOCTOR! I had to give a star to put up a review, otherwise it would be zero!

I joined a few months ago, have had a few appointments with two doctors and the pharmacist, who have all been kind, professional and empathic. Also the receptionists have been polite and forthcoming. I am glad to be with this practice.
