They need to find a new receptionist because whosever on the phone shouldn't be working with people or in surgeries at all. Why an unqualified person decides if I need an appointment or not? Very hard to get thru as well, you can keep calling them, sometimes takes at least 10-15 calls for them to pick it up. Yesterday finally got an appointment, really needed some antibiotics because of really bad tonsillitis and the doctor denied to prescribe me with them and I quote "It's just gonna be couple of days and you should start getting better, hopefully. I don't want to prescribe you with antibiotics, because overtime bacteria gets resistance against them" Well I don't know her name, but if I'm asking for something, please be polite and listen to your patients, because atm I'm in Queens medical center with really swollen glands, can't even eat or drink and been throwing up. Definitely don't recommend this practice and I will be looking for a new one myself.

Once again left totally frustrated by this awful place. My elderly mother is without pain relief because they don't have time to produce a prescription. Doctors all busy, though there wasn't a patient in the place. She'll probably end up in A & E like she did last time they couldn't get her medication sorted. Tried to explain to the receptionist who just sounds like a recording quoting the obvious, covid, blah blah blah. Absolutely shocking surgery in my view.

The worst GP practice. Itā€™s extremely deflating seeing how much we pay in NI tax yet the service Wellspring Surgery offers to patients is below average. The receptionist need to cut their attitude and acknowledge they are dealing with patients suffering from all types of illnesses and they should consider being more empathetic than arrogant. St Annā€™s needs a better representation of GP practice.

Oh my God!!! I saw yesterday in this medical clinic how they did not help a man who asked for a blood pressure measurement because he felt very bad and he had pain in the chest, they wanted to throw him outside. Not humans work there, but monsters !!!!!!!

I have read some very negative comments about the Wellspring surgery. I can't believe they are writing about the same practice that I attend. I have been with Wellspring for many years and have nothing but praise and respect for all the staff. I have always been treated kindly and professionally. The NHS is really under pressure at the moment and I think that Wellspring is trying so hard to maintain excellent clinical standards and service. It is frustrating for all to have to wait for appointments but

I have been with this practice at since it first opened which is some time ago. I am alive today thanks to the staffs knowledge and dedication.Around six years ago my G.P. told me that he routinely sent patients of my age, (seventy) for a prostate cancer test. This was not the standard medical practice at the time. I was feeling 100% fit. That's the thing about prostate cancer, there are virtually no symptoms. My results on the Gleason test were rated nine out of ten, aggressive. After thirty-eight sessions of radiotherapy I am now in good health. I now always tell my male friends of that age to take the test. One didn't.and sadly died. Thank you Wellspring Surgery staff,

I have been diagnosed with fibromyalgia for a long while now, I tried multiple years telling them I need more support and help and they passed it off as ā€œfemale issuesā€! Half the doctors are rude and donā€™t listen when you try and tell them you want something done and help with your issues. Waiting times are disgusting and they are terrible and keeping you with one doctors. Receptionist are lovely though, only good part about the whole experience.

The NHS service here is very nice. I was shocked by the reviews. However the receptionists that I consulted today and the day when I booked the appointment are both very nice and patient and they called me the second day for further explanation that I needed. I wonder are they the same receptionists that mentioned in the reviews lol. The doctor today was very friendly and easy-going. Very pleasant practice šŸ‘šŸ»

I had a positive experience with my GP. I booked my appointment through the phone, the wait times were very short and I got booked in quickly. When I arrived at the surgery I was greeted and made a priority by the pleasant staff member at reception. I had an appointment with Dr Thomas who was fantastic. He listened to my concerns and explained concisely the issues I was experiencing. In the 10 minute appointment he built a lot of trust, and I would recommend the surgery as a result.

Iā€™ve been with this surgery for over 30 years. Never had an issues with the service. Receptionist have a tough job to do and policies and procedures to follow so can see why they get a bad name. My personal experience Iā€™ve always had a positive outcome when speaking. With any receptionist, they offer help, advice and have always help me solve my issue re seeing a doctor, medication ect. Iā€™d like to mention most of the GPā€™s Iā€™ve spoken with have always been great especially Dr Ghandi. He is caring, compassion ate and professional. Thank you

In the limited experiences I've had at this GP I have been very impressed with all service received. The reception team managed to work with me to get me in when I had an urgent issue referred, and were helpful on arrival. The Doctor I saw, Dr J.Wijesuriya was incredibly helpful - assuaged my concerns and gave health advice in a open and frank manner, without being patronising or dismissive in any aspect of our interactions.

Not good enough. If outside of NHS services requires more then 30 days the patient should be told of it and should not be charged for it in advance if they fail the timeline given for a working capability assessment at DWP by not have the paid report in time. And things like this are just the tip of the iceberg. Nurses and reception are absolutely amazing but we don't feel supported or cared about from the GP's at all. Sometimes crucial details that been said are missing from the notes on the system which is not the best for any parties. We only can hope some changes will be done to avoid situation that has a very serious and bad impact on the patient's life due to delays or miss communication.

šŸ«¤ Very quick and easy to get an appointment. Incredibly expensive....much cheaper to go to the travel clinic at the university. Also push you to have vaccines you don't necessarily need.
