My first experience was traumatic. I was suffering from depression and I visited this GP I’ve told the doctor something didn’t felt right with me she said maybe I should try to lose weight and tried prescribing me some pills I said no I don’t think that’s the solution, I broke down and start crying this human being told me I had to leave because she had another patient to see. Till this day when I tell this story everyone asks me why I didn’t file a complaint. My second bad experience, I suffer from severe eczema sometimes I scratch myself until I bleed, the sun , stress can trigger my eczema really bad, and when it happened I rang the GP again but this time because of the pandemic we weren’t allowed to physically go to the gp so I asked for video call so I could show how bad it was, I was told just to put some steroid cream it will go again, just got worse. I had to call again and when they finally decided to video call the doctor said I was really bad and I told him this is what I’ve been trying to explain. My third and final moment I was booked to get a smear test and after the lady was extremely ruff I came home and realised I was bleeding. They send me a form and I explaining that was left bleeding. NO ONE REACHED OUT to me. This should open an investigation regarding this place because the amount of people complaining about this place is alarming.

I wish I could give it zero star. A very unhygienic practice. Very unprofessional. I went to have my newborn baby vaccination done. The nurse Susan gave me a used tissue with someones's dried blood spot to clean my babys mouth. I didn't realise it until I wiped my baby's mouth. This is an absolute unhygienic act. Being a nurse she must know to discard any used tissues and also use gloves. But she didnt use gloves either. I then spoke to Dr Loo but she did not seem bothered, however said someone from management will call u and look into it but NO ONE ever contacted me. If you want to get more infected then welcome to this surgery. Pathetic.

It is an absolute shame how someone can be extremely rude ( receptionist ) and still have a job in a public environment with such importance, this job should only be done by someone that truly has the experience and willingness to help people as they are in need, pain, and don’t know what to do. As a receptionist you should be the first step to their answers and open their way to the doctor. People life’s are no joke. I have read all the reviews and they all seem to be the same and nothing changes. This is ridiculous and someone should do something.

I just had to leave a review and sing Dr.Iqbal's praises at Sherwood Rise Medical centre! I have dealt with him 3 times the past few months face to face and via phone appointment. He was just brilliant every time. The best service I've received for as long as I can remember from a GP and absolutely amazing with my 3 year old son. I must stress that the receptionist is always so warm and friendly when I call.. I believe one I spoke with is Shelly and another is Maxine. Thank you!!

Nobody’s answering the phone waiting for 20 min after 10min tried again and 25min no answer. But when you come to practice they won’t let you in the lady said you have to call first to arrange. How I can do that???

Reception staff were actually rather pleasant and helpful when I made an inquiry. The nurse that I saw was pleasent aswell but couldn't give me what I needed as she needed training. Because of that 4 stars otherwise fairly nice staff.

I've been with Sherwood Rise medical centre for over 10 years and although I've been fortunate to never need urgent medical attention when I visit for my routine checks they are always helpful and attentive. I recently visited for a routine smear test which I know many people put off doing but it was absoluetly fine, painless and very quick. Today I visited for a pill check but I got the date wrong and turned up a week early. It was towards the end of the day and although it is always quick appointment, I did have to leave work early to get to the appointment on time. Without any quibbles the receptionist kindly squeezed me and I am very grateful. Thank you.

Disgusting doctor’s and reception. I have been diagnosed from spinal tuberculosis and I was seen the doctor’s many times and not help just telling me to eat medication painkillers and my sickness getting much worse. Finally I went private doctor and paid £1200 for MRI scan and found spine tuberculosis. I had to sleep for 2 months in hospital and take medication for 1year. Still now not recovered fully. It will take me up to 2years to fully recovered because I didn’t have soon treatment from those useless and disgusting doctor’s.

A few roads down from the centre I found a very distressed elderly lady lying on the street with dried blood on her face, who couldn't tell me her name. After being told it might take 2 hours to get an ambulance I went round several care homes and finally this medical center in case they could help. After explaining what happened one of the receptionist dropped everything and rushed out to help because she thought she might be one of her patients. This is not my doctor so I can't comment on that, but the people manning reception really care and get stuff done.

I’m shocked about bad reviews about this medical centre. Since few years iv been looked after in here. 10/10 customer service 10/10 medical knowledge and ultra quick response. Strongly recommend

Worst experience. Trying to call them from 3 days but not connecting, now the surgery is closed. Doctors are always in hurry. I am pregnant and last time they prescribed me cyclizine for vomiting and nausea. I am still very ill. I contacted them for a midwife Referral but alas it's 3 weeks but no one contacted me till now. This is so shameful, they are playing with people lives.

The receptionist it's just the worst person for the job I had to call for a 2nd day to get an telephone consultation with a doctor 1st day the haven any appointments they told me call tomorrow morning 8am I did they told me no appointments we are open from 7 am Web page says 9am opening when I said to the Receptionist that I've been told yesterday they open at 8 she replied we have a new receptionist she doesn't know also she told me your matter is not urgent while it stopped me to go to work for nearly a week

Hello. I am a patient here at sherwood medical centre from last 1 year but I must say the doctors there apart from Dr safdar are so unprofessional and has no empathy. I believe you can prescribe medicine according to the symptoms but I genuinely believe that a doctor should look at a bigger picture rather just treating symptoms. Listen to your patients what they say!!! Nobody if they are feeling well wants come to hospital so you guys should pay attention to what a person is saying! My doctor i don’t wanna name him/her was on call while the consultation! that is disappointing ! I wish i will see some professionalism here soon!

Talked to a receptionist recently - unbelievably rude - wouldn't let me talk kept interrupting throughout conversation - problem is in my catchment GP surgeries are all woeful - just have to put up with it - awful indictment of general medical care in poorer communities

DISAPOITING!! you just can not get threw to make a appointment morning or evening. 45 min on the phone still no answer I have given up on this surgery. TERBLE SERVICE

After spending 2 day's on hold, trying to speak to a receptionist,only to be met with an un cooperative member of staff who's adice was to download the NHS app ,and still no prescription in sight, good job I've not got a life threatening illness, extremely poor.

9:00 Called to make an appointment. I was told to expect a call back at 12:30. 13:30 Called them again to make sure that I hadn't been forgotten. 15:55 Reception finally called me back and ....wait for it; told me to make an appointment. Do yourself a favour and just go to the walk in centre. This clown-show is a waste of time.
