I appreciate the pressures GP surgeries are under at the moment but other surgeries seem to cope a lot better than this one. This used to be a good practice but not anymore. The worst thing I find is the reception team, they are often cold, unwelcoming and rude. It is virtually impossible to get an appointment, no matter how poorly you are. I rang regarding a very sick toddler and the receptionist said there were no appointments left and that they were closed this afternoon. I do not understand how they can make that decision on whether someone gets seen and certain things should take priority. Therefore, I find their priorities wrong and they just say ring back tomorrow even though a concerned mother with a sick child could be very serious. The pressures front line staff are under are only being made worse by the fact you can't get a 10 minute phonecall with a GP as patients resort to other services to get seen and they always seem to at least acknowledge and try and sort your problem no matter what pressures they are under. I would not recommend this practice.

Many thanks to all the staff at the surgery. My experience was above and beyond. After being referred to the practice for urgent attention. I called at reception with a letter from Boots opticians. I was told that they would act as soon as possible. Within the hour I received a call with an appointment for the next morning. After attending the most efficient practice nurse, I was given a prescription for medication and follow up information. All this in less than 18 hrs after my initial routine opticians visit. Well done our NHS.

I was really impressed with the surgery when I joined them, about 6 years ago, they was really helpful and considerate to their patients... now it seems they don't want patients, it's made to be as difficult as possible, whether it be, make an appointment or ordering a repeat prescription! My mum and dad are also registered here and the amount of times they don't get their reviews or can't get an appointment when they need it, they both suffer with asthma and have COPD and have both have been affected negatively after Covid, but can't get appointments for love nor money. Then they give up because it's too difficult, would not recommend as it is.

Shame 0/5 isn't a rating, the receptionists are rude, snobby and cleary forget, they are NOT dr's, Absolutely useless, I've never had to make a 2nd appointment with a Dr to get them to resend an email ( they've clearly forgotten to send) I was suppose to receive after my first appointment , how is making a note to pass onto the Dr to remind them not a thing ? This place is stuck in the stone ages, the appointment booking system is beyond a joke and such a waste of everyone's time. I honesty can't believe this place is still around, AVOID.

Can someone explain to me how you are suppose to book a doctors appointment at rivergreen doctors? Because you can’t book in advance as they are all taken, they tell you to call at 8am, when you do they don’t even put you in a queue, they say the number of spaces in the queue is full and cut you off?. It’s a ridiculous system.

The worse doctor surgery in nottingham. You have to queue outside from 7.30am and they only give the first four people in the queue an face to face appointment. I would recommend you do not to use this surgery.

Only giving 1 star because I can’t give zero. Turned up this morning for bloods with the nurse at 9:15, the self check in screen wouldn’t work so had to wait for receptionists to come off the phone to tell me I cannot be seen and will have to rebook. I hate this drs and this is my last straw with them. The drs are lovely but the surgery itself, the receptionists and the way it is ran is TERRIBLE.

I made an appointment today on telephone but it was cut off (my own fault). The receptionist Debbie only had my first name and the end of my mobile number and she went out of her way to try and find me on the system even though she only had very little information. This is above and beyond, I work as a practice nurse myself and I know how tough it can be to be a receptionist. She was so lovely and she should be recognised for going that extra mile! Thank you.

Arrange cover at school so can queue at 7.30am for an appt to be told no it will be a phone call told them I teach so can't just step out to take a call told tough should be zero

Do not register at all at this doctors, and do not give this surgery the time of day! Because there all a bunch of plonkers. You can’t even get a call back from the doctor even though your registered there. It’s absolutely disgusting. They just like the job title and the money these doctors do…they don’t give a monkeys about human beings. it’s just about the job title they want to think they are something special! And the receptionist don’t know what the hell they are doing they are too full of themselves.

They make everything difficult, from medication prescriptions to speaking to a doctor. The receptionists seem to think they know more than the doctors and the manager is useless.

Physically went in last Thursday to request a repeat prescription as I was running out of tablets before the date that I could request more due to a dosage increase by my consultant at qmc. Tried to call twice this morning just to get next in the call queue and an automated message saying my call cannot be connected. Ended up walking round to find out my original request was never put through. I’ve now had to re-request, being told it should be sorted by this evening. Absolutely not good enough
