Restaurant

👍👍 Fantastic food, quality service. First off the corn dog was brilliant, great batter and texture. Cheese was lovely. Fried chicken wasn't what we were expecting, a bit spicier like Korea fried chicken, was still really good. Ramen was top notch, for the UK at least. It's not what you'd get in Japa... People often mention ramen, nice, good, great, amazing, friendly, menu,

Fantastic food, quality service. First off the corn dog was brilliant, great batter and texture. Cheese was lovely. Fried chicken wasn't what we were expecting, a bit spicier like Korea fried chicken, was still really good. Ramen was top notch, for the UK at least. It's not what you'd get in Japan as the taste is different due to the source of the ingredients, really good. Will definitely be returning again, especially in Winter!

Firstly I would like to say the staff are amazing very nice and helpful. The food was very nice as well and reasonably priced. We had the prawn toast as starters which was tastey. Then for our mains we all tried different ramen. Everyone loved it and the miso ramen with pork was my favourite. The only thing I would suggest if they had some additional chilli sauce or spice on the side to add to the ramen. I will definitely be coming back again.

My favourite corn dog I’ve ever had - genuinely a lot better than any in London! The vibes are really nice in there and the place is friendly and clean. I prefer the starters, sides and specials a LOT more than the ramen. Will always come back for the corn dog :)

Food is nice but sadly slightly pricey. I shall visit again and depending if the food quality is constant I might increase it to 5 stars. The staff are polite and attentive. The atmosphere is nice and relaxed. A more unique selection of non-alcoholic beverages would be deeply welcomed too.

A wonderful place for ramen or noodles. The dishes are on rotation so you can always be positively surprised. Food is always above my expectations, portions are quite large and prices are very reasonable and affordable.

Super tasty food and great atmosphere. Loved the attitude of the servers; friendly and slightly sassy. We ordered lots of items and all were splendid. Our favorite was the prawn toast. Highly recommended.

The ramen here is exceptional, surpassing many I’ve tried in London. I went for the ‘New Wave’ Garlic Tonkotsu, and it didn’t disappoint. The soup was velvety and rich. The pork belly’s slight char added a nice touch. I particularly enjoyed the homemade pickles, which balanced and cleansed the palate against the soup’s rich flavor. The pickled shiitake mushrooms were my favorite. An option to select the noodle’s cooking level would make it even more amazing.”

Absolutely lovely food. Loved the ramen and the broths are just full of flavour. Had the lovely radish cake extra and that was so unique in texture and taste. Everyone who went loved the food and would definitely come back to try more. Couldn’t manage a dessert as the portions are massive. Loved the range of beers that you don’t get anywhere else. Rice lager on draught was particularly nice. Staff were very polite and attentive and happy to help explain the menu.

Came to Shottingham for the day and me mate told me about this little joint with rave reviews. Pulled up and didn't know what to expect, walked in and was greeted by the cast of The Bear. Got the history on the place & it had a decent lil' hipster vibe. The waiter was extremely confident (in a good way) had a lot of reassurance about the place from that. Kept coming back to the table to check on us & would make casual banter. The food itself is MOSTLY ramen and it was very good but me and the two other people in the party all came to the conclusion there was a bit too much salt aftertaste with the dishes. Outside of that it was all very good, if you're a big boy/girl/gender neutral one dish might not be big enough for you but was worth the money from the quality and the craftsmanship.

Great Ramen. Good selection of Japanese drinks including non-alcoholic beer. We booked a table for 8 for a work group meal and all left saying that we’d be coming back with our partners!

Excellent food and service! We were 4 people and this is what we ordered: - prawn crackers - loved it! Strong prawn flavour unlike other places, spicier sauce which i liked - seaweed and pickle salad - small portion, extremely fresh. I think this is a bit of an acquired taste but I personally liked it. They didn’t do too much which made the seaweed the star of the show - cured salmon - if you’re going to order 1 small plate, get this!! Incredible quality and flavours! - prawn toast - probably the best ive had. A but non traditional in the shape and thickness but so so good! Loved the mint added on top - miso ramen - I love mushroom so really enjoyed this. - soupless duck noodles - great portion and really nice sauce added - semifreddo dessert - wow!! A really incredible combination of flavours. Would highly recommend - spiced apple ice tea - really didnt like this. Tasted like bbq smoke. However, lemongrass ice tea!!!! Wow!!! Ramen took a very long time as restaurant was busy but the waiter was so friendly and got me another ice tea on the house. Overall, really enjoyable dining setting and experience. Great for friends or date night.

Absolutely great dishes to choose from without having an overwhelming menu. The menu is also changed frequently so you won’t return having to repeat your last meal (even though I would gladly have what I chose before). Can’t wait to go again!

Great staff, nice atmosphere, drinks were delicious and of course the food was amazing. One or two dishes weren't particularly our thing however thats just personal taste and we did practically order everything from the menu! The clay pot was a must have, the pork belly was the best I've ever had!

Such a fantastic meal! We came straight from doing an escape room so we were very hungry - Everyday People was the perfect spot to refuel and relax afterwards. Lovely atmosphere (especially for a Saturday night - it was busy but didn't feel hectic) and the server who looked after us was so attentive and friendly. We really liked the relaxed décor and simple menu too. We both had the Corn Dog and the Tan Tan noodle bowl. Both were delicious, but the broth in the noodle bowl in particular was amazing! I also had two of the lime leaf margaritas - so good.

Best ramen I've ever eaten, hands down. Very generous portions, fresh ingredients, and perfectly balanced flavours. The pork croquettes were also delicious, and I highly recommend trying their white peach sake to go with your food. The menu is limited but everything on it is well thought-out and cooked to a very high standard, so you can order with your eyes closed. Have to give credit to their staff, who are very friendly and efficient although the place is always packed. Looking forward to trying out the cocktails and their vegetarian options on our next visit!
