some games are old, missing pieces and falling apart found several hairs in different items of food- food was fairly cheap and tasted good, except from the pizza. garlic bread was tasteless. employees were kind and friendly, however not great customer service- took them literally 4 hours to clear up our plates from our table and took 30 mins for a latte. atmosphere is great, a great selection of games but missing some great ones like articulate, logo board game, linkee etc. good entry price.

THE BEST VEGAN PLACE IN NOTTINGHAM. Staff are so thoughtful and sweet, food is absolutely delicious snack and chilling food. Stocked full of boardgames which are so affordable to rent and play with. We got to do a painting session today whilst enjoying a vegan panini and coffee and even at 1030 it was lively and full of people having fun. If you like geeky stuff and love vegan food and happy energy this is the place to go.

Nice place and friendly staff! Somewhere to go to play board games, but you do have to pay to access them. The café has a wide variety of good vegan options (Dice Cup rightly advertise themselves as vegan exclusive). This is also a shop to buy card games, collectables, etc. I was a little disappointed not to see a wider range in this element of the store; for example, there were very few 'Yu-Gi-Oh!' products. Would recommend :)

Nice gaming board cafe, unfortunately the food isn’t good as they taste quite bland. However on their discord. Not very friendly as some aren’t quite unpleasant. And spamming to promote their content needs to be on enable. With selling TGC is expensive now Edit: got a reply, unfortunately they didn’t see the matter of the issue. How disappointing

stumbled across this place during my time in nottingham last year and i got myself a vegan chicken burger (cant remember the name exactly now!) but to this day i keep thinking about that burger. the food options were so varied and decently price! such a nice atmosphere as well and friendly staff, i only wish i knew about it sooner and got to go with a group to fully experience it.

Oh, so much more than a cafe! This place will change your mind about board games. Bring your mates or your family and be prepared to spend a couple of hours in air-conditioned comfort with superb game tables and loads of space. The cafe only offers vegan fare, but the cakes are excellent! It is also a shop with a vast range of modern board games and knowledgeable, friendly staff who will guide you through the maze of delights on offer. Try before you buy, or just hang out with friends. This is an experience like no other!

This was a beautiful experience. The vegan cakes, amazing games and new found friendships. If you happen to be a word game fan then I would suggest you choose Letter Jam! Ps: The owners are wonderful people.

Calling all geeks, especially vegan geeks! This place was such a great find! We had a great time playing games (£5 per person for unlimited access to games for a day) and even better that all their food and drinks are vegan friendly and delicious!

Very very friendly staff and the atmosphere is lovely. Just a great place to meet up with your friends and play whatever games you want. Staff are helpful and accommodating and they have a lot of activities on offer if you don't bring your own games. Prices are very reasonable and food and drink is nice too.

Spent the day here for only £6 each! Thoroughly enjoyed trying out new games that I hadn't played before. Some games were damaged or had pieces missing however I guess that happens when so many people are coming in and out playing different games. Food was average but wasn't expecting anything amazing as you go for the games not the food. It was good enough for a snack while you're playing some games. Staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming on our first visit. Looking forward to going again!

Absolutely delightful space with fantastic staff. Been here a few times with friends to play boardgames. They have a good selection and the price per person to play is very reasonable at £6pp without a time limit. They are also fully vegan with a good selection of snack and hot food. The Nachos are excellent.

Love this place, we came on Saturday for a gaming meetup and enjoyed our stay in the store. We stayed for a few hours and the coffee was amazing. I recommend the latte with coconut milk. Cheap single pokemon cards at 10p each and giving away free energy cards this is a kids paradise

Great place, one of a kind. Nice, chill, laid back atmosphere. Decent food, especially for primary vegan options. Customer service can often fluctuate from pretty good by someone who's passionate about their job alongside the games, to pretty poor by, I'm not too sure ok how else to say it, but corporate vibes, emotionless, tired, just wants to get paid, do the bare minimum, gets treated poorly. I can get it in a fitting scenario but to see such a contrast between the employees is interesting to say the least/for lack of a better term. It's great it every aspect but is slightly let down by the customer service, i guess is a simple way to put it. Although, this shouldn't demotivate you from trying this place out for yourselves as it is still pretty subjective, as some people may prefer the corporate, chill, minimalistic service.

Great staff, helpful and friendly. A nice selection of boardgames and trading cards available to suit all ages and abilities. The café and facilities is a nice touch, as you might end up spending a whole afternoon hunting for cards or playing games with the available tables.

We've now moved all our games to The Dice Cup. The staff are just fantastic, it's got a terrific vibe even when it's busy, amazing selection of games but it can get very expensive if you have a large group so bring your own games. The coffee is first rate, and the food... omg the food is to die for. All vegan too. Fantastic place, can not recommend highly enough.

I absolutely adore the Dice Cup, such a lovely atmosphere just friendly and fun the food served there is great and love the choice to go all vegan. Every interaction I've had with staff has been memorable and it's a great place to chill and enjoy a good game and a drink. I thoroughly enjoy a visit to the Dice Cup and would encourage anyone and everyone to give it a try, great for experienced gamers and newbies alike. Thank you for some great times Dice Cup! 😊👍🏻

An all-vegan, dog friendly, board game cafe? These are my people! Honestly, only been here once, and only to eat before a gig, but the place had an amazing vibe. It was packed with people playing all kinds of games, including a card game tournament and loads of D&D groups. Lots of board games on offer to play, and well stocked shop too. The food isn't fancy, but it's tasty, well prepared and cheap. I only wish I lived closer so I could go more regularly!

We had such an amazing time. The customer service was great, suggesting games based on what he have played previously and helping to explain new games as well. Food was delicious and really good prices! So nice to have so many choices as a vegan. Looking forward to going back very soon - I would definitely recommend!

The staff are all very friendly, and go out of their way to be helpful - if you’re visiting for the board games, they have a great selection, will help you in picking a new game by finding out what kinds of games you already like, and then take the time to help you to understand how the game works, to save you time going through the instructions. The weekly quiz is excellent, and is very welcoming to newcomers - we have been coming to this every week for a few years now, and keep coming even though we’ve moved further away. The food is also really nice and have a good variety of things on the menu to choose from. Would very much recommend.

Amazing place! Lovely and friendly staff that help out boardgame newbies like me! There's a great variety of games and all clearly labelled by difficulty and player count, food was amazing too and really well priced!

Board game cafe (£5 cover charge per person) with vegan snacks, cakes and small meals available. I recommend the milkshakes and sausage roll! The board games are well organised and staff are happy to chat and make recommendations. You can stay as long as you like too. Great way to test drive a game before buying! It's worth noting that the tables are quite close together. For larger people like myself it can be a squeeze getting to and from your table. I recommend asking for a table at the front if needed. It is also quite noisy because of all the activity so you might want to bear that in mind too if this affects you.

This is a kind of library of over a 1000 boards games. You pay £5 and you can stay for ages playing any games you choose. Family games to more specialist games. It's a vegan cafe too and their coffee is lovely. You can also get help on rules etc. Great place, open every day I think. Busy in the evening with students. Good vibe.

Consistantly just the most friendly staff. Some game shops can be quite intimidating but I always bring my friends here because I know how great it is. Ability to rent a table to play your own games is great but their collection of board games is substantial. Also a great range of food for alternative diets.
