The university has some lovely grounds to walk through and iconic buildings. Highfields Park and the Lakeside Art Centre are open to the public. It is a nice place to visit to relax and unwind. Can't review or comment on the actual university and services provided as not used.

Visited University Park (Highfields) with 2 of our grandchildren. We had a great time. Adventure Golf, Football Golf, Boating on the lake, nice Car Park, Toilets and a great children play ground. Plenty of wildlife and trees.

it's a beautiful university, and one of the top ones in all of UK. The campuses are extremely pretty with lush green parks, tress everywhere, and lakes. You'll see so many birds and animals around you, ducks, pigeons, geese, and deer, it's crazy. To be here is to be in the midst of nature while still living a modern day life!

I am a victim of this evil management at this campus, we have been treated unlawfully, even after they were knowing of their wrong decision they didn't back down, this was an assault on an innocent group of people pregnant women little kids and babies. There is no forgiveness for this kind of behaviour

I couldn't see the staff last week bullying a group of religion people, just because they are religious, a place full of hate, UK citizens recommended to stay away from here. If there would have been an option of putting a zero I would have left that!!

I am writing to express my deep disappointment with the misleading communication and lack of transparency I experienced during the application process. Prior to submitting my application, I reached out to the admissions team to inquire about my eligibility and chances of admission. The response I received indicated that I had a promising profile and encouraged me to proceed with the application. Based on this positive feedback, I decided to apply and paid the non-refundable application fee. However, shortly after submitting my application and paying the fee, I received a disheartening notification stating that my application did not meet the requirements for admission. This sudden change in assessment left me feeling misled and unfairly treated. I understand that admission decisions are based on a thorough evaluation of each applicant's credentials. However, the conflicting messages I received from the admissions team raise concerns about the transparency and consistency of the evaluation process. The initial encouragement to apply, followed by a prompt rejection, creates an impression that the application fee was the primary focus, rather than a genuine assessment of my qualifications. This experience has tarnished my perception of the University of Nottingham's admissions process. I urge the admissions team to review their communication practices and ensure that prospective students receive accurate and consistent information throughout the application process. This will help maintain the university's reputation for fairness and transparency.

The University of Nottingham has become my biggest life regret. The university ruined my student experience during the covid years (particularly what concerns my degree programme). The subsequent implications of those disruptions where never remedied by the Univesity. Further to this, as a former business student, I can confirm there's more lecturers in the business school than not that aren't passionate about the subjects they teach and make learning dull, outdated and not engaging. I graduated with the highest classfication, yet despite being constantly told employers value the institution and despite applying for more than 30 roles this year, I was unsuccessful in all. As a graduate, I'm drowned in over Β£80,000 student debt and unemployed so I can thank the university and the BSc Accountancy staff for rightly preparing me to excell myself and paving a prosperous (not) career journey for me. I hope that I never have to contact or have anything to do with this institution again.

Waste of money and I regret my decision of going to this University. It's all a marketing gimmick, I don't care how many awards or accreditation this university has, If it cannot even delivery the basic functions of an academic establishment. The student services is always late to answer and when they do, the issue you report is never resolved and completely forgotten about. Every single start of my course had issues with my registration. When it came to examinations, they did not even register my name. Generally speaking, the lecturers and module convenors are good at answering queries. But I had a few instances where the lecturers were outright rude and unhelpful and should reconsider their career. There are frequent mistakes in the content delivered and is also evident in some of the course books that they recommend for the course. If I wanted to learn from a decade old lecture slides and generic feedback or none at all, then I would have taken a free online course. I would have given one-star if it was not for the facilities on campus and the David Ross sports village

Did my BA, MA and PhD here. At every stage I looked at other place but nothing matched the warmth and welcome I got from the staff at Nottingham. The campus is beautiful and sports facilities are incredible!

Terrible institution. One star is too generous. All they want is your money. Couldn't care less about the welfare of students. When my son was thinking about going there, he was reassured that it would be easy to transfer to a different course if his chosen course didn't work out for him. When it came to it, the uni showed absolutely no interest in supporting him, the Head of Transition did not even have the courtesy to attend a meeting with him - zilch help, disgusting attitude!! So glad my son has left this place, hopefully he will go somewhere that treats young people with nurturing and allows them to thrive. If you are thinking about Nottingham, please think twice - it's just a factory!!

As a retired member of staff living locally, I am fortunate enough to have access to the wonderful Hallward library. It is an excellent resource set in beautiful grounds.

Me and my mother got lost in this university on the 31st of August. Mr. Jason (a lecturer) from the Ambulance Pramedics department was being sooo nice and helpful for us in this situation. He’s such a kind gentleman. Thank you so much.

One of the best places and memorable for me, I graduated 2020 from the prestigious university. Everything there is so natural, the bushes, the environment and the animals including squirrels are welcoming.

having attended this university for years, i cannot reccomend enough that you avoid it, there are numerous issues with it such as an unclean campus with goose poo never cleaned up. There is very little to no help for students struggling mentally or academically. Also i was allowed to enrol in a course i did not meet the prerequisites for and was only made aware of this halfway through the year and i was not allowed to take the exam. This university lacks responsibility, transparency and is ultimately a bloated, money wasting useless beurocracy that will give you a piece of paper for paying loads of money and teaching yourself the subject
