As a long time paranormal fan, this was a must see destination when we were on a family trip in the area. Both myself and my 14 year old were excited to visit - my husband was dragged along. With an £8 per person entrance fee, it was good value for money as there was lots to see and lots of information to read about the haunted items. The staff were brilliant and went out of their way to ensure we were OK and getting the most from our visit - even offering to let us hold a human skull. Small, but good selection of merchandise to buy. Would definitely recommend a visit if you're in the area. We did have a little trouble finding it initially as it's located in the basement of a mixed use building - just be aware. The rest of the floors in the building are also worth a look, if vintage and quirky items are up your street. The bar/cafe is a must too.

Spent about an hour here on a Saturday morning and loved it. Really interesting mix of artifacts and some very entertaining taxidermy as well! The building the museum is in has a really good cafe and vintage shop too so you can easily spend a couple of hours here. Highly recommended as some spooky fun and will be going back!

This is a lovely atmospheric museum and a real hidden gem in Nottingham, if you take your time and read every exhibit this is easily an experience that takes 1-2 hours and there's plenty to look at. If you're a fan of the paranormal or horror I would recommend a visit. The museum is also situated beneath a cafe and your ticket gets you 10% off cafe purchases which I thought was a really nice touch. I am however going to knock a star off because there wasn't a huge amount of space to move around meaning a lot of time was spent waiting to read the next exhibit. I was also told there would be staff in the actual museum so that we had the chance to hold a real human skull but sadly no one was there and so I missed out on that.

Fantastic haunted museum lots of stuff going on the ladies there are lovely we will definitely be coming back again but this time we will buy something from the shop. Actual props as well from movies like SAW which is awesome... 1 down side is you can't take photos which was quite disappointing but if you don't mind not taking photos then the museum itself is fantastic with great staff and lots of information I would reccomend definitely. We was aloud to take 1 photo in a certain area with staffs permission and this is here that I have uploaded which is myself holding a real skull from a female many many years ago

Absolutely loved my visit here! Small museum under a pub and curiosity shop, but it's filled to the brim with artifacts and exhibits! Lovingly curated and there's just so much to see. Make sure to keep your eyes open, there are a few hidden spaces you might miss otherwise. What a brilliant little gem, definitely worth your time!

A memorable experience, I went feeling sceptical about there actually being haunted items, but I did have 3 experiences here that made me question my scepticism. The dybbuk box really affected me before i even got to it, had me feeling dizzy and nauseous when I was around the corner looking at the rat display, once I moved away from it I felt better though. I would love doing a night time tour here, the creepy doll room made me and my friend hesitant to enter too, for the short amount of time that I spent there, I definitely won't forget my experience.

Enjoyed our experience here, luckily it wasn't very busy when we went as there isn't much space inside the rooms. Was interesting to hold a real skull and staff informative. Shame you aren't allowed to take photos as there was lots of interesting exhibits from Horror films that we would have liked to show friends and family. Would return if able to take photos.

Had a fantastic time here on 22/01/22! Myself, my partner and a friend visited the museum after finding it online. We are all paranormal enthusiasts and love this type of stuff so we thought we'd give it a try! After joining the Facebook group and reading reviews prior, we were very excited and lets just say, it did not disappoint. The staff are all friendly and absolutely lovely and willing to have a chat with you about the oddities it houses and any experiences. We spent well over an hour in the museum looking at the different displays and taking it all in, all of us having our own experiences. We thought we'd share our experience! What follows happened in the doll room. Upon our first walk through, we were in the doll room reading the exhibits and taking pictures when another visitor came into the room and locked the door behind her. We continued doing our own thing when the door flew open by itself... strange but no cause for questioning anything. A little while later whilst talking with a member of staff, he mentioned it is an occurrence that happens often and they have tried to debunk it but to no avail, we thought we'd try our own investigation. We went back into the doll room and closed both doors. I went over to the door that opens by itself and attempted to jump around on the floor around it, bang near the door to see if it would jump the lock and open, but nothing. It stayed where it was. I then attempted to balance the door on the lock to see if this was the case but the door has to either be closed with the lock in or open, there is no in between... so, do debunking there. Finally, we attempted to interact with the spirits in the room that may lurk within the dolls, inviting them to move the dolls and spin them which they did on various commands and finally, we asked them to open the door. Repeatedly we asked but nothing, the door stay closed. Finally, we friend says "if you do not open the door, I'll touch your doll"... nothing. He says it again... nothing. Then he says "if you open the door you can attach yourself to me" (silly!) and as soon as he finished that sentence, the door flew open with force! No one in the adjoining room, no breezes opening the door, no one moved... nothing. It flew open with force. One of us ran from the room whilst myself and my friend maintained our ground. We closed the door and attempted again but to no avail as people we viewing in the other room. An interesting experience to say the least! Will definitely be back in the future to experience this room again. But overall, amazing experience, amazing value for money and having your hand stamped so you can go back in at any point of the day is really nice. All the staff are amazing and cannot wait to visit again! Also, holding the human skull has an interesting experience... if you get the chance, go spend some time here! You won't regret it.

We needed a morning activity and I had heard good things about this museum. The first thing I noticed was the staff. They were lovely. My daughter had started coughing a lot and they were very kind and made her a cup of water and checked up on her later. They were all very chatty and friendly and I could have spent the day just talking with them. The attractions in my opinion are well worth the money, it's a mixture of Paranormal and Haunted items, Movie props, taxidermy and skeletal remains including a chance to hold a human skull. It's over 3 levels and the stairs are very steep so keep that in mind if you struggle on steps. I would visit again tomorrow if I could it was a fantastic experience and at £8 each very good value for money.

Thought overall it was good value for money with some interesting displays and facts. The main downside because of the eerie atmosphere the notices accompanying the displays were difficult to read, so probably need to be in different colour or thicker font. Found the offer to "hold a human skull" quite disturbing and very disrespectful to the person it belonged to, no matter how old they were.

Had a great time here last weekend, £8 per person which I thought was very reasonable given the amount of stuff there was to see! Probably spent a good hour and a half having a look around, I was very glad to see it was reasonably busy and people are enjoying it. Definitely recommend if you're into creepy stuff

Great small museum with great contents and educational side. Loved the pop culture props and figures as well as the caves with the dress of Jess. Definitely felt watched in that bit though. Also enjoyed learning about the history of the two skulls in the crypt especially Elizabeth's and a great opportunity to hold a real life skull. Amazing little shop too, had to stop myself from spending all my money

I would go back to this place in a heartbeat. The detail, the effort, and the environment was just amazing. There are 3 levels, with rooms leading into other small rooms. The content they had was incredible! So much to look at, and learn about. It even had that creepy side to it, where you were certainly checking behind you every once in a while. For £8, it is great value for money. In fact, I would have quite happily paid a bit more. The service provided was brilliant, and very informative. And the gift shop is very cute, and very well priced. Will definitely go back again, and take some of my friends. It was brilliant. Wasnt able to get any pictures, except me holding a real human skull. Absolutely worth the visit. Would 100% recommend.

Home to thousands of haunted artefacts and oddities, The Haunted Museum in Nottingham is a paranormal paradise for anyone interested in the supernatural. From possessed dolls to scary movie props, there's so much to see across three floors. The owners have put so much effort not only into collecting all these objects but sharing their knowledge of each and every one. The building is also haunted (no surprise there), and you'll often find spooky footage of unexplained going-ons shared across the museum's socials media. Whilst there, you can even hold a human skull! Whether you’re a fan of the paranormal or not, Nottingham’s Haunted Museum is a total hidden gem worth visiting. 💵 £8 🚻 Toilets 🚗 Parking out front

A truly must visit for anyone on the scared scale. Whether you’re petrified of all things spirits, ghosts and ghouls (like me) or whether you’re a pro ready to hit the Ouija Boards this venue is fantastic for everyone. The staff Andy, Cat and Michaela were very welcoming and reassuring, with endless knowledge of the museum and the displays inside. An incredibly reasonable price, really entertaining and leave you wanting to visit again. To top it off, your ticket/ receipt of the museum gives you 10% off a brilliant pub directly across the road. 10/10 experience

We visited on a rainy Wednesday morning, and what a fantastic little place. Friendly, welcoming staff and they've managed to pack so much into what is a relatively small space. Plenty to see and read about, with lots of information about the many fascinating items on display. A special mention to Andrew, who was very knowledgeable. Whether you are a believer or a sceptic, this place is great fun, really interesting and well worth your time and money.

If you are into the supernatural, or not, like to be scared or a true sceptic, this place is a must to visit. The staff are great to chat to about the happenings in the the store and as you make your way through it, you can't help but let your imagination (and hairs on your arms) run wild! A brilliant little place if a little out of the way but don't let that deter you, oh, and the rats are fab!
