It's a fantastic restaurant. Wonderful food, really friendly staff and always a great atmosphere with very competitive prices. Thoroughly recommended.

My son requested Italian for his birthday meal and, oh my word, what a treat it was! The food was out of this world! Beautifully presented and so delicious I wanted to savour it for the rest of the night. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, we didn't feel rushed and allowed plenty time to choose our food and enjoy our night. The prices are very reasonable too! Thank you for making my son's birthday so special, he was telling all his friends how amazing it was. We will definitely be coming back, as he said "to try everything that's on the menu." I'd give 20 stars if I could! Edit: I have been back since for Mother's Day and my birthday to try different dishes. It didn't disappoint! Fabulous food and very fastive atmosphere, I can't wait to go back. Massimo and Alex always make it an amazing experience!

A fab local restaurant with excellent and attentive service. Had a New Year's lunch with my mum and sister here on 3rd Jan. Lunchtime menu is excellent value. Decent sized portions for 2 course options. Massimo and Alesandro are welcoming and funny. Lots of Italian banter across the dining room and it's a lovely welcoming atmosphere and GREAT for families with children too. Parking at rear and the bus stop is literally right outside the restaurant to Notts, Derby, Long Eaton/Sawley, Ilkeston etc so easily accessible if you want to make the most of the wine list too ;-) Definitely be back again soon with my family. Came here last night for my brothers birthday, one of the best ‘eating out’ experiences i’ve had in a long time. Food was fantastic and the staff we’re so friendly and even sang happy birthday to my brother 😂 got everyone singing, the two guys who own/run? the place made a real effort to make us feel welcome…..I cannot fault this place, will definitely be returning for future meals out 🙌 highly recommend….p.s. try the Calzone 👌 it’s spot on!

These guys are good as gold. Very welcoming and always remember their customers as every business should. I travel to the area frequently for work and always rotate into here for an evening meal once in a while. The food for the price and location is consistently good and as a lone diner I always feel in good company. I regularly bring new starters to the business here so they know a consistent place to dine with a warm welcoming atmosphere.

The staff were all so friendly and the service was phenomenonal and the food was delivered quickly. The menu was kind if limited, only 2 veggie pasta options. Good dessert selection though. I did enjoy my experience here ! And the prices were very reasonable too for the food, but the drinks were very spenny, a glass of wine being around £7.

A first class experience from beginning to end. We were greeted with a smile and taken to our table, which was clean and nicely set out, in a modern setting. Everyone who served us was pleasant and attentive, but not overpowering. The food was well presented and just the right potions. Our meal, including drinks, was very reasonably priced. We will definitely be visiting this restaurant again soon.

Vivo is the best Italian restaurant in the area and always one of the best restaurants in town. Always a warm welcome from Massimo and Alessandro. Amazing food and an especially good value Early Diner menu. It's so good you'll want dessert and coffee too.

I took my fiancé and children here for a birthday meal. The food was absolutely amazing and the staff very friendly. We were made very welcome. My fiancé recieved a complimentary dessert for her birthday. Definitely will recommend this restaurant and will be returning soon.

Good value set menu at lunch time, with lots of choices. Very tasty food and friendly and attentive staff. Very large space, so great for groups and events, but might seem a bit odd if sat in the main area with not many people present. We were on the single table to the left of the entrance, though, which is very cozy and almost like being in a separate private dining room! 🙂

Returned here last month after visiting a few years back. Excellent value for money, very tasty, fresh food and good service. Nice, clean, modern and 'authentic feel' Italian restaurant.

Great service and the food was cooked to perfection. Also had a good wine selection and beers on tap. We all gasped as we saw Calzones going to another table so I know what I'm having next time.

6 week visit to Orlando and all the theme parks. This was easily the best food we tried. Fantastic flavour, service and decor. Would visit every week if it weren't for the Atlantic ocean!

This Italian restaurant is a rare find. The quality of the food, the service and the experience is consistently good. The food is prepared and cooked fresh, always served on hot plates. It tastes great and the menu has some old favourites as well as some interesting other dishes. The service is excellent, Simone, is an attentive and welcoming member of staff. From the moment you walk in you are acknowledged, welcomed and for the remainder of your time there you are well attended to. Finally I have eaten here a number of times now and each time I can confirm the above is not a one off but consistently good. I frequently get food envy of what other people are having and I look forward to many more great meals at Vivo! Thank you to all the staff who work there. You should all be very proud of what you do.
