Attended here for the first time during Dot To Dot Festival 2021, felt for the festival itself it is a little out of the way compared to the other venues but it is worth going if there is someone you want to see. Very impressed by the venue itself, it was well presented and modern. It has a cafe area outside the auditorium which serves cold and hot drinks with alcohol available too and some snacks which were all reasonably priced. The stage was a good size, when we went it was standing but I think they do seated events too. The acoustics were great which made for a good intimate event. I would definitely recommend this place for a gig. And I look forward to returning in the future. Having now returned to Metronome for a pre arranged gig, seeing John Smith on 1st April 2022. I can confirm that the venue is still as great, it was a seated event and when you arrive they assign seats at the door, where ever you sit you would have a good view. We were row "B" I think, they reserve the very front two rows for accessibility ("AA" & "BB"). The sound was amazing and the price of the drinks at the bar are some of the best around for a venue. Looking forward to the next event at Metronome.

Great venue in Nottingham City centre. Had the pleasure of attending BBC introducing. Very enjoyable evening. Nice bar area too.

This the the better of the comedy clubs in Nottingham (IMHO). Theatre style seating with a capacity of around 200 or so. A bar area with a reasonable selection of modern and craft draft, canned or bottled beers and spirits. Ticket prices are ridiculously reasonable for comedy night, with some cracking acts, known and upcoming acts.

Really nice venue, room is a good shape to have a decent view of the stage no matter where you are. Its been purpose built with spot on acoustics and sound-proofing, there's retractable seating if the event requests that type of layout too. Convenient parking nearby on Bath Street at good prices. Nice hot and cold drinks on offer at the bar with a little seating area for pre show drinks, or just somewhere to escape the crowd for 5 minutes. Only thing was the room was crazy hot, it was a sold out gig, but there was no air con or natural air flow, if it was on we couldn't feel it!

Wonderful venue. I was there for Five Leaves Bookshop selling Henry Normal's books for his event. Staff very welcoming, helpful and friendly, especially Jay. Also, toilets immaculately clean, an underrated quality all venues should aspire to. 5⭐️

Went to see Diiv on Tuesday evening, first time visiting the venue. The sound was excellent as were the lights. However the security ruined the experience of the gig. Two security guards came and stood in the middle of the crowd and told people who were dancing to calm down and put their hands on them. The band actually had to tell the security to get out of the crowd. In 15 years of going to thousands of gigs I've never seen anything like it and I won't be returning to the venue because of this. I hope metronome will address this and train security appropriately for working at events.

Absolutely world class live music venue. The sound and lighting quality here is always exceptional. If you get chance to see someone you're interested in here, take it.

Amazing venue, with great staff. More people should play here. The venue has a standing or seated setup. The tech is great too.

Went to see STONE in the venue downstairs. Excellent place, great facilities, top sound quality. Why have I only just discovered this place?

I've attended a comedy night and a music gig at this venue and really enjoyed both. The set-up lends itself very well to live events, either seated or standing. Friendly and helpful staff and a well-stocked bar...!

The event I went to see here was great and something I'd been looking forward to for a while. However, it became intensely too hot, which was acknowledged by performers but didn't seem to be something that could be improved. Alongside issues with the bar queue it meant the venue wasn't really appropriate for the event - it's a very nice modern building with great facilities though

Excellent guy tonight, Milton Jones was hilarious and support acts warmed everyone up perfectly. The venue is perfect for intimate shows with decent bar to boot.

Brill small venue, however the bar team did pay more attention to collecting glasses than serving the queuing public, this wouldn’t be too bad but in the interval the band did restart before we got served. A little annoying they either need more glasses or more staff
