Our first visit to this garden centre and very impressed, so much so that it is now going to be our 'go to' place for future purchases. We have 3 major garden centres nearer to us; Trowell garden centre, Bardills and Wheatcroft. This is now taking preference over them all.

Excellent place to visit, needed some top soil, fertiliser, and potting compost, all at very competitive prices. All of the staff are extremely helpful and friendly, will certainly shop there again, can't recommend them highly enough

Love this place! Great plants, friendly staff, good choice of gifts, ornaments and garden lights. Cafe is amazing. Food delicious, cooked meals as well as a vast array of fresh, yummy cakes. My personal favourite and plenty of others too, is the doggy cafe! Indoor, comfy, spacious, with free doggy treats or treat them yourself to delicacies such as peanut butter ice cream. A real treat for everybody.

Called in here today primarily for a coffee and a slice of cake as I have been past many times and never had time to call in. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, giving a warm appeal. The coffee shop had lots of tasty cakes on offer and a lovely log burner to keep you warm. On the way out I had a wonderful around the shop and found the prices very fair not over priced like some I have been to before Definitely worth popping if you’re passing, I know I will definitely be back.

Fabulous garden centre. Will be there tomorrow to buy as much as I can. If we do have lock down I can then be in my garden sorting lots of flowers for my bee's.

Love the garden centre. 4 /5 stars for garden centre , 2 stars for cafe. Unfortunately the cafe on this visit was poor. No appetising smells as normal. Hardly any customers which is strange. Girl behind counter all her hair hanging down . Fleece looked like she had just come in from the poly tunnels. No Sunday dinner or hot meat cobs now . "Just what's on the board" was snapped back when I asked about the dinners. Such a shame this cafe was a lovely, always busy and always happy smiling staff . If this is how it's been recently no wonder there wasn't any customers . Very disappointing visit on the cafe side. Garden center side still fabulous .

We called in for coffee and a scone, the restaurant/cafe is well presented and clean, the coffee and scone were below average compared to other garden centre restaurants. The dynamics of a family running a retail restaurant don't work well here, the young family members are great but the others see their task of clearing and cleaning more important than being happy and friendly to their customers. I would say they were quite unfriendly and grumpy. The garden centre is a little untidy but prices are keen, wouldn't take much to make this a really nice little garden centre but they need to sort out priorities and family dynamics first.

Only been once and it's a very good place, lots on offer and great prices, nice little restaurant, the coffee and walnut cake is amazing. It's funny because I'd been looking for a new wallet for a while, tried lots of places with no positive results, then come here and find an aluminium hardshell card case for £2....£2!! Of all the places I find one at a garden centre. It's not the best quality but for the money, it's works unbelievably well! Anyway I recommend a visit.

Visited the café today, 10 minutes before closing. Had a drink and piece of cake. There were other customers in there too and not even 1 minute after we sat down they turned off the lights and the radio. The staff then proceeded to stare at everyone while we finished. Felt very pressured to chug my drink down and the service was awful! Avoid avoid avoid!

What a lovely family run business. The staff are really friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. They have a bit of banter with some customers and are really easy to talk to. There is a wide range of plants, affordable gifts, lovely cards and accessories. The cafe is lovely too, the breakfasts are yummy and the cakes are delicious too. The hot chocolate is so nice last time I had two mugs. Would heartily recommend a visit, I can assure you there'll be something you didn't know you needed! 😉

I've been going to Moore's for years and years. Great selection of plants and good prices. Lovely selection of gifts and goods. The cafe does delicious fresh cooked food and they have an outdoor and separate indoor area which is dog friendly. The rest of the garden centre is dog friendly too.

Nice independent garden centre, has a very good selection of plants and lots of pots to choose from. The gift selection was also really diverse Would recommend a visit with no hesitation Only suggestion: Some of the pots outdoor were missing a price tag

Great traditional family run nursery, everything you need to make the garden look stunning all year round. Wonderful surroundings, hear birds singing and the occasional Buzzard call. Moored also has a great cafe to boot. Well worth a visit.

When we went last week they had no plants in and the massive greenhouse was empty. Also it looks like the plant prices are being inflated . However they did say they were expecting supplies in the near future
