Rowells Drinking Emporium image

Rowells Drinking Emporium

Bar

👍👍 Newly opened pub, in the old Rowell's haberdashery shop. Not really a micro-pub, as it's quite large. Good choice of Cask ales and Ciders. Very similar to the nearby York Chambers or Stapleford's Horse and Jockey. A useful addition to Long Eaton's renaissance of decent real ale pubs, at good prices.... People often mention good, shop, great, Long, beers, Eaton, beer,

Lovely welcoming pub with a relaxed atmosphere. I love the memorabilia from the former store, it’s refreshing to have no tv screens or music playing so it’s a great place to chat with friends. Real ales and ciders and a good range of gins too. This place is well worth a visit and we’ll be back when we’re visiting the area again.

Excellent new use of a famous Long Eaton landmark, with trinkets, price tickets and items from Rowells shop. Friendly welcome from staff, good selection of beer, cider and gin. Lovely relaxed atmosphere.

Brill little drinkery om the main high street, with a good coffee machine. The beer and cider selections are fab :) The decore is a knod to the old shop it once was with ties to the local area.

Lovely to see the atmosphere of the old Rowells shop captured in this micropub. The shop had been a focal point of Long Eaton for so many years. Not as pokey as many micropubs either

Love the beer selection and the staff are friendly and helpful. Lots of character about the place as set in former local shop (which was legendary). Love all the old objects. Very good.

Awesome place. Every time I come in (which is alot) a lovely warm welcome and a brilliant beer is what I receive. So glad they're doing well and people are enjoying it. Keep it up guys.

Such a cool place to go for a drink in Long Eaton. The interior is great and still has the infamous "Rowells" vibe, minus the dead flies in the window 😉 I have been back a few times now and ordered a variety of beers, all of which have been served ice-cold and perfect. Definitely a place you need to visit if you haven't done yet 🍻

Nice place, huge inside. Good variety of beers on tap. Staff friendly. Prices are very good for the area, a much better pint for only a little bit more than most other pubs. Probably could do with a bit of a clean though.

Nice and relaxed vibe to the place. It still has some of the original features from the previous business there aswell, so there's a bit of history dotted around. Decent prices aswell and served by friendly staff at the bar.

Great public venue, it has captured the history of the classic shop in Long Eaton, with some of its fittings and decorations. Including the original counter for the bar. Update, the staff are fantastic, very helpful and the regular changing of the beers is something that keeps you going back 👏

A great pub, with a great vibe and great beer at good prices. The owners have gone to great lengths to preserve the look and feel of this long-established former shop. There are six gravity dispensed cask ales and four keg beers (two craft, two lager) as well as ciders. Well worth a visit!

It doesn't get any better. Quirky no frills and great owners. Nigel and his partner really got it right! Just keep doing it and enjoy your success. Richard

Best micropub in Long Eaton. Good to nip in for the second time. Excellent beers which are well sourced from near and far. Quirky furniture too.

A very nice bar/café situated in an old Long Eaton shop building. Good selection of craft beers and also serving other beverages. Really great seating area. Loved sitting in the window seating watching the world go by with a beer 🍻

Haven't eaten other than crisps. Range of beers are fairly good and changes regularly so new beers to try. Always good when they have live bands on. It's the best place in Long Eaton to drink.

Didn't know this place was on the high St as I only visit long eaton when I'm at my daughters house, but found it on Friday night, it's got a good selection of craft and ales ,I love the way they've turned a old haberdashery shop into a bar keeping memorabilia from the original shop, the atmosphere was good bar staff friendly and efficient. Definitely be returning when I'm next in long eaton.

I love this independent bar, that takes in ales from all over the country and changes them every week. Its definitely the best bar in town
