Purchased a kitchen. Delivered and installation started 13th December. Parts that were missing i had to order. They charged me delivery charge which i got back. Still waiting for a bin. All going well until the electrician arrived and damaged units and left me with one plug socket, they also cut the plug off my washer/dryer so now the 10 year warranty is void. Not even had it a year 😡. Work tops i ordered have still not emerged. I have complained to ikea and the response so far has been appalling. Now nearly February and still the kitchen has not been finished. Nothing about work tops or electrics. Not happy with corner cupboards at all due to gaps. As i paid for installation from ikea to get the warranty i feel that it is their job to rectify these issues. This kitchen with installation and new electric box cost me £12600. Would you be happy.

Avoid Ikea Kitchens! So paid over £10,000 for my kitchen from ikea in Wednesbury, took me several years to save for and as I had always had great experience with IKEA thought they would be the best choice to purchase and install my kitchen, how wrong could I be! Work started a day after I was promised, and it was a basic part set up before the worktops were arriving from an outsourced company, when the worktop arrived they said the legs ikea supplied were not fit for purpose to hold the weight of the worktops overhang, so they left items underneath to make them temporarily safe and told me to contact Ikea. That was the second week in May. Since then I have phoned multiple times, emailed multiple times and no one returns calls, when they do I explain the situation they say they will look into it, and then all goes quiet. This has been the most stressful experience of my life and I have a half finished kitchen which I cannot use. I cannot afford to get someone else in to rectify the issue and complete the works and Ikea still do not contact me, and there is no end in sight. STAY CLEAR OF IKEA KITCHENS UNLESS YOU WANT TO PAY FOR A SERVICE THAT THEY WILL NOT DELIVER.

This is the saddest experience of visiting my favorite Ikea store. No one waters Live Flowers for at least a few weeks!!! They are dying. I feel like the flowers are suffering and asking for help, but everyone passes by, even the workers do not care the flowers need urgent help. I contacted the employee, she said that she was busy with other things. I called the manager, he smiled pleasantly, but said that the worker who should deal with flowers was on vacation. I suggested other workers water the flowers, he said they would do it when they had time, maybe in the evening, because everyone is busy now. I said, maybe we can put other things aside and just water the flowers? After all, these are not only living beings who need urgent help, but also the money of the Ikea company, and big work of many people who grew these flowers. I don't understand how they can be so heartless and so unprofessional? Good people who love flowers should work in plants departments!!! Or not to trade live plants at all. I have never seen such an attitude towards living plants before! At Ikea in other cities, I have always enjoyed the great selection and well-maintained plants. Not to mention the fact that the plants here are generally in the wrong place, without access to light on the lower shelves, the light is insufficient for plants! I said I took pictures and would send them to customer service, but that didn't help either, apparently the workers know that there are also people working there who don't care about the suffering of the plants and the profits of the company. They didn't even let me water those unfortunate flowers myself when I suggested it. I hope that my letter will be read by the company's managers and will save living plants and hire worthy, competent and simply kind people!

The peoples furniture store. Just off the M6 ( Jct 9 ) so ideal for anyone to get to if living in the greater West Midlands area. Nice huge car park that is free. Click and collect is to the far side on the right as you drive in with bays marked out for collection. You cant miss the store with its Swedish style colouring of yellow and blue. There is everything to suit all kinds of budgets and styles and fashions. Wether you live in a bedsit or a mansion there is something for everyone and the quality is second to none. Returns policy is straight forward and I have never had an issue. Get there early, enjoy a leisurely breakfast ( very cheap and lovely food ) and amble through the store at your own pace, there are always fab displays and ideas and things you weren't expecting so do look in all the nooks and crannies for ideas. The peoples furniture store is a 1 stop shop for all your needs you wont be disappointed.

Better than shopping online. Great displays, lots of ideas and yes the prices have risen like everywhere. However very pleased with our purchases. Every member of staff super helpful. And to top it off a part needed for a hi-lo desk bought several years ago was sent direct to me f.o.c. Thanks to excellent customer service team. And now the desk is back working⬆️⬇️ again. We also ate at the refurbished restaurant it was busy but clean, nice food and very good coffee with free fefills. All in all consistently good and very fair value.

I don't know why but I really like IKEA, it's well cool and this store just off junction 9 of the M6, is a big store with loads of parking space. But it can get very busy at times... A wide variety of products, selling everything from cushions to wardrobes and 60p 🌭 hotdogs to beds, plus most things in-between. There is some really good quality stuff, that give good value for money among the items for sale - all you have to do is sort it out and pick your own taste

Love this place and love their hot dog stand and meal options. I mean getting a vegetarian hot dog, with onions and pickled cabbage for 60p!! And it tastes great. They also have vegan ice cream. Think they have got it right in terms of accommodating families on a budget. It was actually a lovely afternoon with the family and everyone's needs catered for

PLAN what you're going for before you come here! Or you WILL be leaving with a LOT of what you think you need and overspending. Then because IKEA stores are widespread apart, you can end up with IKEA furniture still packed thats never used and you just never got round to taking it back. IF this does happen to you and you want to return anything, as long as its still in it's original packaging you can get a refund within 12 months of the purchase. Yep, no quibble refund. If you buy a bed and bedding from IKEA, it seems that you can only use their mattresses and their duvet sets as regular mattresses will not fit. I think its based on European measurements which are not the same as the UK. The restaurant is a nice place to have small meetings or just have a quick catch up with a friend and if you have children, its is also child friendly with free fruit for kids. The food is nice, with a changing choice every day. Popular choices are always on the menu and you can fill up with food that's kind to you finances. Staff can seem a little flustered at times as in unhelpful, what IS good though is that if you need extra or spare parts, you can go to customer services, tell them the part you need and they will give it to you, for free. So if you need a new front for a drawer, they can give you a replacement. IKEA all round is what it has always been, nice looking, budget friendly furniture which a few family friendly extras!!

Everything you could possibly need to furnish a home from cutlery to beds. Inside the home and outside the home. There isn’t anything missing here to furnish a complete home There is a restaurant on site as well so that you can have a rest and a bite to eat half way through. If you even want they can deliver for you and even put things together if you are not that handy. Well worth a visit for everything for the home or even just a spot of lunch.

The mecca of flat pack furniture and meatballs. Oh what joy, 16 succulent Swedish meatballs accompanied with perfectly cooked chips, let's be honest it's the main reason to go to IKEA. Felt obliged to buy a £5 table whilst there, friendly staff at the self service check out. Watch out for the snakes in the toy department, they can be a little feisty.

I love This Place 👍 And the kids love it too It's like an alternative family day out when it's raining and we just love the food here. So yeah, it's an alternative place to eat as well. Teenagers are so fussy about food but, no issues here. It's not as cheap as it used to be and the cheese cake wasn't as good as I remember but overall we had a great time.

I hadn't been to IKEA for about 6 years but found it hasn't changed. Brilliantly and efficiently laid out to make the most of the space. Lots of example rooms on display which realistically represent the small spaces so many of us now have to reside in. Couldn't visit IKEA without experiencing the "mandatory" meatballs and jelly. No change there either....lovely!

It's good, very big but very far from Birmingham, if you have car then it's fine but if you go via bus then you need to walk for 1mile up in the end and you can't carry heavy stuff. Wide variety available, its so big that you may lost inside.

Staff were really helpful and polite. We went on the spure of the moment at 8 o'clock on a saturday night. Place wasnt to busy at this time, you could do with a few hours to have a good look around. Be prepared to spend more than you planed as theirs lots of choice.

Vegetarian wellington! Not something I thought I would enjoy but it was delicious, nutty and slightly sweet. With Seasonal vegetables it made a decent christmasy meal in November. As always the IKEA cheesecake is lovely.

This is a great place for anyone! They have brilliant foods, a hell of a lot of storage and items, nothing takes too long and clearly a lot of effort has been put to this place, there's decor everywhere and all the little examples of mini homes are brilliant for ideas and just to look around. Also the prices are very good, I got one of the best ice creams ever for only 75p! 5 stars!

An excellent one stop store that has a wide range of furnishing options for home and business. Probably best not to visit on a weekend as it's heaving with customers which meant waiting for a space to park and lengthy checkouts. . Store assistants are helpful and its it's easy to navigate the store. Although it would be helpful to have quick exit routes signs to the cashiers rather than having to walk the entire journey of the store . This I found time consuming because I made my choices and just wanted to go straight to the checkout. Although this isn't a major issue if customers are happy to browse as they make their way to the checkout.
