Can't recall the last time I'd been but they have changed the lay out a little, you now enter the shop on the left, where the exit was. They flow of the shopping experience is much nicer, still don't understand why there is such a long entrance to the cafe, feels like the entrance to a theme park ride. Nice food and drink in the cafe. Great selection of products for home and garden. Plant selection is great.

Its been many years since I visited last but was very surprised how 'up market Brookfield's has become... nice selection of mothers day items that had its own area. So many plants, trees, sheds and other ideas like patios or conservatories. This garden center has a large food area and an area for kids with a custom play area.

Visited for the first time in a decade, a long time but really worth the journey. Have just about everything you could need for the garden. New restaurant which was lovely, food was a reasonable price and very tasty. Thoroughly enjoyed the trip and would recommend this garden centre to anyone.

Great garden centre. Expensive nowadays. However, their plants are usually very good quality. Staff very helpful too. Cafe popular too with good food and excellent selection of meals.

This was a lovely garden centre and would happily come back here. Came to meet a friend for breakfast and a look round. The cafe was decent, the oat milk cappuccino was really frothy and creamy tasting. The amount of variation in hampers was great too, great for the whole family. Outside there was reindeers and in general a lovely Christmas theme throughout the shop. We looked at the bunnies too, the young assistant was so helpful in answering all our questions.

I still think the garden centre but what was really good about this was the food here. However visiting today they have changed the layout and acquisition of buying. You are now required to sit down at a table choose from the menu then come back to place your order at a till. I like to see what I'm buying especially food and found this process too much friction to make me and my family walk out. They may have been a que at times before but this could have been solved with more staff.

The best Santa's grotto we've ever been to. Only a little grotto but really nice and Santa and his elf were fantastic. Our boy said it was the only time in his life he's been to see the real Santa. Well done Brookfield garden centre, you were fantastic.

Went today for the Santa's grotto, at first when I booked it online I was shocked by the cost. But wow we were not disappointed, well worth the money! All the staff working were absolutely wonderful and worked hard to make it a magical experience for the kids...and parents! Can imagine they're doing/saying the same thing day after day over the Christmas period you think they'd lose a bit of sparkle but we attended on the 23rd and their upbeat, amazing energy you'd think you were the first ones through the door. A big thank you to everyone working today, you were amazing and really made the Christmas magic come alive. Merry Christmas!

Bookfields Garden Centre. This is a fantastic garden centre - the quality and selection of plants is excellent. Just few minutes drove from my home. Staff are friendly and helpful.

I recently visited Brook fields garden centre looking for a last-minute birthday present for my wife. I was very pleased I decided to visit because Brookfields is packed with full potential gifts and other interesting items. It is also very good for people who are keen on their garden, there is a large variety of plants, gardening tools, outdoor furniture and general garden products. The garden centre is very child friendly. It has its own dedicated children restaurant with soft play and a decent selection of child based products. It also has tea rooms for adults. It was nice to walk around the pet shop, which has a wide variety of aquatic products and a good selection of cold and warm water tropical fish. Parking is very good here also, there are plentys of spaces which are set out at an angle to make them easy to get in and out of.

Not only do we get the privilege of coming into this store to purchase things. But we also get the chance to work along with their professional team to get their customers things to site. Thank you.

Have been a regular here for many years. Disappointed with the new layout. You used to be able to look at the food. Now you stand in line and order something that you haven't seen. 25 mins is too long to wait for 2 drinks and 2 scones.

Lovely garden centre, can easily spend hours looking at the rabbits and outside with the kids. Coffee and cakes are lovely and the play area is a nice size. The only reason I have 4 and not 5 stars is because the seating area near the play area was really unclean. There were only 3 tables that didn’t have old plates on and the floor was pretty gross. When I asked if someone could clean the table, it took a while and they still didn’t clear any other table. They could also do with a soft Mat on the outs wide of the play area as it’s a high step to get over and many smaller children have fallen forwards onto hard floor

Great place for Christmas decorations, unfortunately we wanted to take our 6 month old around the grotto, but the young chap on the till said we would need to pay £15 for him, to experience everything and get the toy We explained we just wanted to take him around for the sensory experience with the lights. Unfortunately this wasn't able to accommodate. I would have happily paid the £3 the same as the adult price just so he could experience the lights

I met a friend today for lunch at Brookfields Garden Centre, Mapperley Plains, Nottingham and aside from the fact that we were told it was a 20 minute wait for a bowl of soup the attached images are some examples of what surrounded us the entire time we were there. I feel sure there will be an explanation for this but even so its not a place that I would ever revisit ...

Premier garden centre is what it states when you enter all the way to a modern restaurant suitable for professionals. The garden centre is average with products mixed in together and no areas specifically for products. The restaurant is far from modern. The toilets are the most modern area. To order food you have to select a table first, bit hard if your on your own then to order food and pay after oh and the cutlery is in a dated stainless steel thing along with napkins in another area. The seating is grubby and stained and all professionals require WiFi which there was non available. Be an idea for the owners to visit truly premier centres to experience a positive experience. Not even bottles of juice and snacks at the tills to purchase. Not a place I’d recommend. Average to below.

Popped in for 2 coffees and 2 scones on a Saturday afternoon. It was busy-ish but took a good half hour before it came as for the family next to us. Felt sorry for the staff wandering around with coffees and food as there is clearly no training or system in place. Was very nice when it came but really need some decent management.

I love a garden centre and this is one of the good ones although since changing the way you order at the cafe it’s confusing You gave to get a table then order. So in some circumstances you have to leave the table. We had to leave items at the table so people knew it was occupied as we were ordering separately The food is nice and the cakes are delicious!!!

Came here today for lunch, the soft play (which is really good) and a look around. Can't say much on the centre today as I have spent so long waiting for my order it's sapped any sort of energy I had. The food itself is nice and the cake selection was impressive and tasty, but as with previous visits, dear god service was slower than a snail in treacle
