Welcome to the Neighbourhood Elio! Gorgeous interior, went there twice so far to just hangout, sip coffee and read a book. It is that comfortable. Great quality coffee, I haven't tried any food yet but will do soon. Super friendly staff. Can recommend:)

The dessert here was the nicest dessert I’ve ever tried in my entire life. The drinks were equally as impressive with the coffee shake being so so good. Highlights: lovely atmosphere, a chill playlist to study to, without the background music being too loud. Very friendly staff who are willing to help. Plugs for charging electrics were available for where I was sitting (around the corner). Could be better: the matcha didn't taste quite like my expectations. But I will come again to try another drink :)

Went for some coffee as a friend recommended this place. I just loved the ambience of this place. Gingerbread latte and cappuccino were both good. Staff is very friendly. We went for a take away as i had sleepy toddler with me but I will definitely go back to sit and have some desserts.

Table service, the best croissant I've ever had and some wonderful art on the flat white I ordered. Will definitely be returning!

Allow me to share my experience with this place. It's truly exceptional! The cuisine is outstanding, and the coffee is top-notch. Taking a day off here transported me to an exotic getaway. The ambiance, particularly the atomosphere, is incredibly soothing and tidy. The staff welcomed me with warm smiles. I wholeheartedly recommend this place!

The cafe looks really nice and the matcha and cappuccino taste great. You order at the counter and after 2 minutes the drinks are brought to your table. The drinks are reasonably priced. I really enjoyed my stay and highly recommend this cafe!

Was walking past and saw this lovely coffee and cake shop. We really however went on for smoothies but when we saw the selection of cakes we couldnt resist. The staff were really friendly and polite and the service was great. Not only did you get the cake but they decorated the plate making it feel extra special. The smoothie I picked was Sunset. And was really refreshing. I will definitely go back here time and time again when I'm in Birmingham. Highly recommended. The menu had lots of other things on I wanted to try... The decor was very cool a dusky pink and tan brown vibe which felt really relaxing.

Great friendly coffee cake shop, you can almost miss it walking past, the hot chocolates are amazing all made with real chocolate Few gluten-free cake options as well, staff friendly not rushed and the drinks where brought out to my table Will have to try the smoothies next time

Excellent cafe. Probably the best Americanos I have had - it really woke me up! Delicious freshly made food. Very friendly and efficient service too. Overall, you cannot go wrong.

I came here for a quick Eid brunch and i was not disappointed! The atmosphere is calm and elegant, not too busy either. The staff are super friendly and really helped us choose what to order. Food and coffee was delicious, only thing is I wish there was more to the food menu! But doesn’t take away how amazing the place is. Will be returning

Elio Cafe is one of my favorite cafes in Birmingham, they have a lot of delicious hot and cold drinks. I had a vegan matcha milkshake, it was absolutely amazing. All the cafes are such a work of art. The service is lovely, every single staff is very friendly and attentive. Sara was so sweet and very helpful, I asked for a vegan snack and she knew how to guide me, recommending a granola bowl. It that was fantastic.

Had the most wonderful morning study session here. Lots of seating, gorgeous decor and the staff really are rays of sunshine. Everyone was delightfully kind and the energy was so friendly. Will definitely be frequenting, and my first matcha latte was sublime!

Amazing cafe with the friendliest staff going. They reallyknow Thier regulars and always make me, my wife and baby feel welcome. Flat breads are the perfect brunch, and are great value. Cakes and pastries are wonderful too. Definitely worth a visit if you want a quick lunch and coffee!

This cafe in the heart of the Mailbox is beautiful. Very friendly and inviting and I received a wonderful welcome when I entered. The hot chocolate was simply delicious and the cafe has a warm atmosphere. The staff are lovely and really welcoming. I would highly recommend giving it a visit and I'm definitely going back again very soon.

nice cafe in the mailbox. I ordered the valentines’ special - Rose Latte, which is pretty good! I love the smell of rose and it’s not too sweet. I would not say the cakes are the best but it’s still good. The place is really beautiful and there are some big mirrors which are nice for photos. I love the decorations and pretty plates. If you come during the busy period it can be little noisy, but still available for coffee talks or self working. Very recommended.

Elio is fast becoming my favourite independent coffee shop in Birmingham. When I walk in there I'm greeted like I'm an old friend which is such a lovely feeling. The manager (Tom - inside joke) is always smiling, in fact all the staff create such a positive atmosphere even when I'm being extremely indecisive or I've forgotten to order my coffee dairy free! I'm slowly working my way through the menu and so far I'm impressed! The salted caramel iced coffee is my current fave 😋
