We had a great afternoon. The staff was amiable, and the food was lovely. We did not stay in the hotel but had afternoon tea, which was very nice. However, we were not keen on the new decor in the room where the afternoon tea was served. It was far too modern for the property type, and the ambiance could have been more cousy if it were in a more manor house style decor. Some of the older rooms had a much more welcoming and pleasant atmosphere.

We had afternoon tea at the Manor House. The service was great and food to a high standard. The grounds are beautiful and there is a good car park to avoid the busy town centre. The grounds are stunning and well worth a look around and to take photos. We did not stay in the hotel but might have to come back one day!

Outstanding stay here! Accommodation, food, the grounds…all such an incredible experience. Only critique is the dour music played relentlessly in the public areas. 😅

OMG!! The Manor House is simply quite stunning, the history of this place is second to none as is the food and service. We recently attended a function there and quite simply the service was superb. The food is Michelin star quality and just out of this world. The staff were extremely helpful and attentive and we couldn't have asked for better.

It is a gorgeous hotel that I keep coming back for taking pictures. It gives you different feelings in different seasons and weather conditions. The staff are very helpful and we have a lovely lunch in the lounge. The food is very good.

Beautiful! We booked at the Castle Inn but were moved to their sister property at the Manor House because of a booking glitch. What a treat! It is a lovely old quiet estate with gorgeous grounds. We didn't have time to look around as it was a very quick stay. All the personnel were friendly and helpful. Castle Combe is a beautiful little village that is a must see!

Evening Meal was outstanding and would highly recommend. The Hotel is lovely, nice grounds and spaces to sit. Room was a bit tired and not worth what I paid. Also the grounds are open to the public which is fine but when you’ve paid a lot to stay there, I believe it should be made more private for guests.

Have stayed at the hotel periodically over last 40 years and I'm glad to say that the maintenance of the property and standard of service have remained impeccable. Always a pleasure to spend time here.

Had the entire place booked out for my Great Uncles Wedding in August/July 2021. The Grounds are incredible with beautiful outside areas and stunning inside rooms. The Staff are one of the best part of this place. They are all so kind, helpful and welcoming attending to any problem or need you have. The food is also absolutely incredible with Michelin Star Quality and rather affordable prices, especially for a 5 star hotel. It was a very relaxing stay, well, it would’ve been if we weren’t stressing out about our trip to Cyprus For the whole time 😂 anyways, that’s absolutely nothing to do with the hotel or staff. Which, did I mention, were incredible? Oh yeah, I did! Anyways this is an awesome hotel and I felt like royalty there. Would recommend as much as possible.

Swanky 5 star hotel in picturesque grounds. Unfortunately the service was too inattentive to be called 5 star when we went for afternoon tea. 5 star hotel, 4 star service that day.

If Noel Coward and PG Wodehouse were getting together to swap ideas over a drink, this is where they would be...a beautiful place with superb gardens and lovely staff.

We treated ourselves to an afternoon tea at the Manor House for our 20th wedding anniversary and we were not disappointed. The food was fantastic and the scones were divine. The staff were also fantastic - very friendly, attentive and incredibly professional. Afterwards, we had a walk around the Italian gardens, which while not at their best in late October were still attractive.

We had dinner at the Manor House's restaurant, the Bybrook. The food was incredible but the service was what really put the experience over the top. All of the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. They answered questions, walked us through each course, and chatted. It felt like they truly cared. They arranged for a cab to be waiting outside as soon as we were done with dinner! The grounds were immaculate and the building is truly one of a kind. We will definitely be coming back, to the Manor House and the Bybrook.

Stayed for our wedding anniversary. Our room was upgraded for this reason which is a nice touch, plus some chilled fizz in the room on arrival. Staff very friendly and efficient. Highly recommended.

Had afternoon tea here. It's the most perfect location, the Manor House is fantastic with its old rustic charm and fantastic kept grounds. Having experienced it is December we'll definitely go back in the summer months as it will look even better with the flowers and trees in full bloom.

Just such a great place. Wounderful buildings. Rooms excellently furnished with some quirky items. Food both breakfast and dinner so good. Really enjoyed our stay. Great for chilling out and good HQ for countryside walks really can't fault it.

This will be a stay we remember for our lives! We celebrated my partners 30th birthday in one of the cottages on the grounds in The Manor House. We also got engaged! We dined at the Bybrook which was good and had breakfast in the morning. The room was very good with the biggest bathroom I’ve ever seen. The shower had 4 jets on the wall and a big shower head above. The bathroom even had a TV. We were given Champagne and Chocolates as well! Thank you to all the staff for our memorable stay and we may see you again for the wedding!
