We
visited
waitrose
at
lichfield
today
for
a
monthly
shop.
There
was
a
reduced
section
very
well
stocked
with
goods.
We
looked
at
the
items
and
saw
steak
that
we
use
regularly
for
stir
fry.
There
were
about
10
packs.
On
each
pack
it
had
a
3
for
£10
sticker,
but
also
a
yellow
reduced
sticker
of
£3.79
per
item.
So
it
would
have
cost
£11.37
to
buy
3
packs.
This
just
doesn't
make
sense.
So
as
a
manager
passed
us
by
I
asked
about
the
pricing
of
the
beef.
He
looked
and
looked
again
and
didn't
seem
to
understand
what
we
were
saying.
He
took
the
items
to
the
till
to
check
them.
On
returning
he
said,
'because
they
have
yellow
reduced
tickets
on
them
they
can
no
longer
be
priced
at
£10
for
3.
If
you
come
back
at
4o'clock
I'll
be
able
to
do
something.'
Well
we
would
have
had
to
wait
for
an
hour.
We
couldn't
understand
why
4
o'clock
or
why
he
didn't
want
to
sell
stuff
with
today's
date
on.
We
are
on
income
support
and
would
have
been
happy
to
buy
them
at
a
properly
reduced
price.
Unfortunately
he
didn't
see
it
this
way.
Will
the
items
be
thrown
in
a
skip
or
will
