Going downhill, vegetables didn’t seem fresh (lettuce browning)and there was a distinct lack of items that are not available, other supermarkets are fully stocked why not this one. Anyway, good luck getting back to normal, I may visit again in a few months and see how things are going.

We visited waitrose at lichfield today for a monthly shop. There was a reduced section very well stocked with goods. We looked at the items and saw steak that we use regularly for stir fry. There were about 10 packs. On each pack it had a 3 for £10 sticker, but also a yellow reduced sticker of £3.79 per item. So it would have cost £11.37 to buy 3 packs. This just doesn't make sense. So as a manager passed us by I asked about the pricing of the beef. He looked and looked again and didn't seem to understand what we were saying. He took the items to the till to check them. On returning he said, 'because they have yellow reduced tickets on them they can no longer be priced at £10 for 3. If you come back at 4o'clock I'll be able to do something.' Well we would have had to wait for an hour. We couldn't understand why 4 o'clock or why he didn't want to sell stuff with today's date on. We are on income support and would have been happy to buy them at a properly reduced price. Unfortunately he didn't see it this way. Will the items be thrown in a skip or will Waitrose Partners be the beneficiaries of reduced items? Waitrose you're not looking after your regular customers.

Closing down? 3 weeks now they've had pretty much nothing on the shelves. Freezers completely empty. Almost no premade food, so hardly any curries, pizzas, puddings, certain meats. They've had no sandwiches or coleslaw for weeks. Hardly any fresh bread, and haven't had any part baked bread in weeks. I asked a member of staff what's going on and they said they've had 'supply chain issues'. Load of BS. Wasn't this bad during Covid. They were giving everyone £5 vouchers due to having nothing in stock, but that wasn't redeemable for 3 weeks after the date of issue and requires a minimum spend - as useless as the Waitrose card. Not sure what's going on, but I've never been to a supermarket like this before. Personally I think they should save people wasting time and just close when they've not got anything.

Very good customer service, shop was clean and people were friendly. I would also like to thank Hannah, as she was very helpful in helping myself and my wife to find different products around the shop.

Mixed bag, but avoid 'fresh' food items. Not always that fresh. Most staff are helpful and some items you won't get elsewhere. However, the local over development has resulted in this small shop's custom increasing beyond its comfortable capacity resulting in an in-shop crowded feel and a very busy car park.

Good car parking with plenty of big spaces. However, staff seem disinterested and the store is looking very tired and old. Needs serious TLC, paint flaking off on the exterior, shelves broken and tatty and the floor is all stained. Not good enough for a ‘premium’ supermarket!

Clean store with ample parking and friendly staff. Also the shelves are always well stocked and there is toilets and a cafe on site.

Relaxed kind of management here. Aisles frequently blocked. Rarely a spare trolley in which to transfer your shopping as you use the self checkouts. And just the other day, loads of unpriced items sitting in special offer locations.

Huge queues as only I till open! Why?? Expensive despite the new campaign saying about lower prices. Heinz baked beans are cheaper in Tesco and they had 4 tills open !

Excellent service from the staff, I left my bag in the ladies, thankfully a very nice lady found it and handed it in, some of the staff took time out to look for me as they thought I might still be in the store. Thank you so much. Also, I bought the curry and some extra and it was the best I have ever tasted, it was for two but there is so much in the box. Sorry to say I do not shop here too often as a little more expensive but so very worth it, I will be back to shop.

Would normally have given 5 stars to this store but they are getting ready for a revamp and so e.g. half the freezers are empty as they will be fitting new ones. It's going to take a couple of months apparently. Good news that it's getting a refresh, but in the meantime there may be disruption and some items not in stock - as I found today. My local Waitrose was closed a couple of years ago and so I travelled to shop here. I hope their website will soon indicate these changes are happening.

Overall the place is clean, and nice. However doesn't have a variety in goods. The selection and the choices are very low. And bit expensive than other supermarkets. Staff is helpful.

Big, spacious, well stocked, the store has ample parking and a cafe. Note that it's built on a mobile network deadspot so it's like a massive Faraday cage. Use their free WiFi

Although a little pricey, the quality of products is always good. The staff are classy and polite. Always a pleasure to shop there. Pity about the coffee free newspapers have been removed.

Just found out that Waitrose have decided to stop supplying Duchy unhomogenised semi skimmed milk. Some notification other than the small print on the side of the label would have been in keeping with the “supposedly“ high standards of Waitrose. I know Waitrose will have worked out that most of the Sheeple Suckomers have the same “supposedly” high standards, & won’t notice, or care. Unfortunately for this former Suckomer, Wrong!

First visit to this fantastic supermarket, certainly worth the 35 min journey from Derby, hope to be going again in the not too distant future. The highlight was the excellent selection on the deli counter - something which is now missing from other supermarkets such as Sainsburys, Tesco etc,

Great stuff, reasonable prices. Much better now that all of the covid nonsense is over, this shop was a little OTT.

Today, I waited 15 mins in the queue, to be told, no cappuccinos. One girl serving and one man on the machines, with the queue getting longer. It would have been better if a sign had been displayed. One wet, tired customer

A nice shopping experience, been meaning to try this Waitrose for a long time and we finally got round to it today. A good size store and product range, it is similar to the Waitrose store they had in Wolverhampton but this one does feel newer. The cafe was good and staff were very polite and helpful. Definitely rank this Waitrose much better than the one in Newport near Telford.

First time I've shopped at Waitrose in a few years, store seemed smaller than last time. Nice choice of goods and friendly service, went back today and the experience was just as good as when I added my review. Nice choice of goods and the service was excellent

Popped in because Waitrose has a very good selection of cheese. I wasn't disappointed, I was spoilt for choice 10/10. Staff are friendly and extremely helpful.

Worth a visit but only for curiosity. We came out having spent £50 (gift card) and feeling disappointed. We sometimes use M&S Tamworth and usually feel quite happy about it.

Regularly shop here, always good experience. Food of an excellent quality. Only negative today was a lot of staff checking dates and so some areas of food difficult to look at and select.

Don't bother! You were not loyal to us during the hardest times when we had been loyal to you previously. We had always shopped at Waitrose pre pandemic. Then.........couldn't get a delivery or C and C when we needed it most!! Haven't shopped with you since and won't ever!
