Don’t order online and expect to do curbside pickup. They do not answer the phone. When I went inside the man told me computers were down, I showed him what I had ordered and he said he wasn’t sure where to find it. I sat in my car and had this lovely lady who went to customer service to return something and came out - go in and ask where my stuff was. She came back and said I canceled stuff and he didn’t know where it was - I didn’t cancel anything I picked the first batch of the order up the day it arrived. Anyway she had to go in 2 more times - before he could figure out where my moving boxes were. This took in total over a half hour. I’m disabled so getting something curbside is highly important especially when it’s giant moving boxes. I think they need to train their staff better.

My wife picked up an order we made online with our baby on her way home. Picked up the paid for order, showed the receipt, went and loaded the baby and tools into the car. An employee ran out and accused her of stealing the tools we had purchased and picked up from the customer service desk and paid for in advance. Made her pull our now sleeping baby back out of the car and come inside until they could verify she wasn't stealing. It is one of the most ridiculous things to push pickup ordering and it's convenience and then accuse your customers of stealing after getting their order handed to them by an employee who verified it was paid for.

absolutely livid. Ordered a dishwasher and paid for instillation. Dishwasher was delivered on 2/11, and when we ran for the first time on 2/12, the dishwasher was leaking out into our basement through our light fixture. The ceiling is soaked, electrical is wet, incredibly unsafe. When we went to Home Depot about this issue- they did help us file a claim but basically said there’s nothing that can be done to ensure safety and help control damage until tomorrow evening…. How is there no emergency number for if thing like this happen? There’s no way we are the first to experience something like this. Now, the damage is just continuing to get worse.

No organization. Carts across lot. Carts under contractor end so no parking. Associates were scarse and the ones I saw never spoke. Lumber aisles were a mess!!

I’m in the process of doing some upgrades to my house and property. I needed a new porch post and a couple of young men Kyle and Manny helped me when I couldn’t find the post I needed. They found my post that I needed was right in front of me but was incorrectly labeled. So they took the time and measured the post using the dimensions I gave them and it was just what I needed. Awesome customer service and now I’m back to having Home Depot my first choice when I need anything from a hardware store. Thank you both for doing your job and helping me with what I needed and made sure that I had the right product. Next I had to go to Home Depot Thursday to complete the details on ordering my new fence and assign a contractor. It didn’t go well but a young woman named Sabrina did everything and took the time to make sure that everything was done correctly. She took the time to resolve all the issues and get my order done. Today I had to go back to Home Depot because the online ordering didn’t put my Veterans discount on my order. I went to the customer service desk and Amber redid my order and made sure that I received my Veterans discount. I was so impressed by her tendency and her sense of urgency to correct the issue and made sure that I was not delayed any longer than necessary. Amber great job 👍🏾

Awesome place if you are looking for home products. They have affordable plant and planting product too. People are nice and very prompt if you need any help.

Every few years I give Home Depot a chance to do better and they always fail. Rude customer service, though it's hard to call it customer service when they ignore you, high prices, minimal inventory. Their estimates for work are wildly inflated from what they post online (very bait and switch feeling). I don't know how they haven't been beat out by Lowes. The only reason I'm grateful to Home Depot is so that their competitors keep prices competitive.

Jamie is the best Home Depot employee!!! We had been to multiple locations and she was the only one that really helped us find what we needed. She is so sweet and funny and was just a huge help :))

Friendly staff, knowledgeable, accommodating. Love the door greeter my( late husband helped get his job through a voc rehab program with JCPS so many years ago.) Have made a few female friends here, through another person or on my own. Helps to be friendly, nice to others. Been shopping here off and on for 25 plus years. Will return.

This has been a great place for shopping. . . but it is sad to see how crime has influenced many things to be locked up. . . home depot do not be so considerate and I hope you catch the thieves. . No Stealing signs may also be helpful. . I like Louisville but we must take care of it. .God bless USA

I used to work in a Home Depot paint department. Apparently the training or something isn’t the same across the board because custom color matching does exist, I didn’t want my sample to be “matched” to a behr color. The worker I spoke with was named Mohamed I believe. I asked for a flat color sample in whatever brand they had which he said they didn’t have any in stock, but RIGHT next to him I saw the correct base and sheen. I just wanted to hop behind the counter and do the job for him because I know it could have been done in less than half the time with much better quality service. I feel bad for the customers that waited so much longer than they had to. Home Depot, please train your employees better and maybe have higher expectations.

We reserved a rental truck, but we were not able to take it from the store because of the condition it was in. The fact that the truck was available despite it needing repairs is concerning. They were still going to let me take it, but we didn't feel comfortable taking this on the expressway and endangering others. We ended up having to reschedule our plans, and we were charged for the rental despite not taking it.

Easy to get in and out of. Lots of parking. Westport road is busy during Rush hour. They typically stock the store once a week.

Home Depot is a DIY haven! Wide selection, helpful staff, and quality products. The go-to store for all your home improvement needs.

I love this store. They have good quality products and prices are reasonable. The selection is great. We always find something new to try for our house. The employees are friendly and helpful. The store is kept very clean. The Managers are active and present all times.

OMG. Many things are locked in cages to prevent theft. Understandable, but it means you must always have staff available to open the cages for customers. No one was in the area, and people i found elsewhere said staff in a big meeting and they could not leave their area. Had to get cashier to call manager. Took 15 min to buy something that should have taken a few minutes.

Ordered this Magic Chef 5 cubic deep freezer online and it was ready for pick up in an hour. My husband gets there picks it up and brings it home and there is a dent in the front. I had him take it right back and they gave me one that didn't have any dents. I would recommend you open the box before you leave the store to check for dents or damage. Anyway, so far so good. Been plugged up now about 7 hours and it's getting really cold, it's quiet and I like the LED light, it's also very lightweight. So far I think I made a good purchase.

The associates at this HD are some of the most friendly, and most knowledgeable, that I have encountered. They have gone above, and beyond, to make sure their customers are satisfied.

Went here to purchase a few simple things for our shop. One of them included a DeWalt drill set. For anti-theft purposes, it was certainly locked up. Which I don't have an issue with. In fact I completely understand. Frustration was the 10 minutes that I spent trying to find somebody to help me unlock it only to get it put in my cart and then have a different store employee stop me because I'm not supposed to have that yet. The other employee shouldn't have put it in my cart. After a training session between the two employees in front of the customer, while I waited longer, I decided to leave and take my business elsewhere. Not to mention the prices were higher than other places and, the selection was low. I believe management should take a long look about how they present their tools, how they get help in the places that they are going to lock their tools, and put some signage up about the correct way to shop there.

I went online to check on the availability of a particular item I needed. It wasn’t available at the closest HD, but it was at another not too far away so I jumped in the car. After checking for myself and not finding the item I asked an associate. The associate was friendly and told me they were in the store. After 30 minutes of looking around the store, we engaged a more senior associate who looked in the same places and achieved the same result. I was invested. The 2nd associate called another store that also showed availability, and told us to go there. I asked if the other store actually could see/touch the item because I didn’t want to continue the wild goose chase. He said they did, though I was right next to him when he made the call and they hung up on him while he was asking that question. He told me I should be happy because he called the other store, turned and left. The other associate 🤷‍♂️. Said a couple of people took two shopping carts of power tools out (stole them) earlier that day with no consequences and that perhaps that that is what happened. And they left us in the middle of the store. And then we left too.

Manager and staff said they don’t price match Amazon. I showed them where as long as it’s sold and shipped for the same item they do. They said no. Manager said no. Called Customer service who agreed with me. I had already left but they are calling the store to make management aware. Sad when associates don’t know their own policy. Cashier was very nice, retired lady who was encouraging.

Bought a freezer chest, great deal!! Read online before I went to this store, seen it said FREE delivery. Told at store, delivery is 80 dollars or rent THEIR truck for 22 dollars. Drove literally round trip 9 miles, and was told to pay gas on a 4 cylinder truck, which we didn't even use because the needle didn't even move, they wanted to charge us 33 dollars. NO JOKE. DO NOT BUY UNLESS YOU CAN CARRY YOUR STUFF HOME YOURSELF. ...

We got a box truck to move from Home Depot. You can rent them on a first come first serve. The process was easy and the service desk personnel were wonderful. Great price too. I recommend there trucks for small moves.

Long confusing line to do a internet pickup. Also, lady seemed a bit confused as to where thing are so I guess that's not well organized. Very disappointed that they gave something similar to what I ordered but it was a cheaper option. I returned it immediately and will order elsewhere. Pretty disappointing.

If you have been to one home depot you have been to them all. This one was clean and well staffed. Everything I needed was in stock and the checkout was fast.

My friend and I enjoyed looking at the flowers & plants and getting the things we needed. It was disturbing to witness some guy just snatch and dash a DeWalt power tool as we were checking out. The staff weren't quick enough to stop him. It's really sad that people think that this kind of behavior is alright.

Came for Velcro and a plant for my kiddo. She wanted a plant with pink flowers. We ended up getting a mandevilla (tropical perennial plant). We will try our best to keep it alive and bring it in during its dormant period and see if it’ll regrow next year.

Tony is the man. Helped me find exactly what I needed for a lawn mower blade replacement, which included a very specific hex bolt I was having trouble finding. Knowledgeable and helpful, exactly the kind of help you want in a hardware store. Was a lane open when I was ready to check out, which is remarkable on a Saturday morning hardware run. In and out with exactly what I needed and Tony put a smile on my face. Couldn't ask for a better experience.

Definitely the best Home Depot in the city!! Everyone's always so nice and willing to help. Even had an employee tell me not to buy something and to buy the cheaper version because he'd tried both and the cheaper one was better. I appreciate that they were willing to help me save money! Most places would just encourage buying the most expensive thing even if it's not as good! -- I've gone to most other Home Depot's in the city and this is DEFINITELY THE BEST LOCATION!!!
