I ordered the Sophie pizza and added mushrooms and hot honey! It was a wonderful choice and so delicious. We also had the cauliflower and ranch salad. Both of those were also amazing! The salad was so fresh and not too drenched in dressing. The bacon Old Scratch uses is so flavorful and adds that peak flavor to the items I had! The pizza slices have thin crust, so they recommend only adding a few extra toppings otherwise you might be eating it with a fork. I like folding my slices here and it works out perfectly fine ☺️ I definitely recommend this restaurant if you've never been. They have other options than just pizza (salad and pasta)!

I found a new favorite pizza spot to add to my list! We decided to try it based on the reviews and it didn’t disappoint. We weren’t really hungry but got a pizza and a salad. The Caesar Salad was literally the best Caesar I have ever tried. I am not really fan of salads but this salad has my heart. The fresh ingredient with the their croutons are the best combination. Craving the salad while writing my review. As for the pizza, we got the “Shroom”. It was delicious as well. Their crust is soft yet crispy. I can’t wait to be back to try new pizzas and the of course to get the Caesar salad. I highly recommend!!!!

The best gluten free pizza I have ever had!! The flour (I think) is from Italy and it’s puffy, not gritty and just amazing. You would be hard pressed to tell the difference with regular pizza.

Chicken 🐔 bacon 🥓 ranch pizza was awesome. So this is not your normal pizza place. You basically order one pizza per adult. They run about $13 apiece. Flavor is tasty. Service was great. Outdoor dining was excellent.

Awesome pizza, great environment, good beer selection on draft, and much more seating than you'd expect! My first time here and it was very good. A New York style pizza, but they still load up the toppings well! I got the angry beekeeper and it was very good! More sweet than spicy but still an awesome flavor. Plus a private room in the back for book clubs or other meets available. Chill place, just off of downtown, would recommend!

Our first time dining at Old Scratch Pizza. We were well satisfied with the service, and each of our pizzas was delicious. A Shorty with Pepperoni for our son, an Angry Beekeeper for my wife, and a Deluxe for myself. The pizzas were so good that even though we were filled, we continued eating our pizzas until a to go box was no longer needed. Each of us then topped our meals off with a vanilla soft serve cone. Stuffed! The ovens were viewable as we sat at our table, awaiting our pizzas to be baked. Our son enjoyed watching the staff bake our pizzas and with many questions regarding the flames. It was a very nice family dining experience. We did not partake in the huge selection of alcoholic beverages despite our desire to do so. There were plenty of beverages being served, and every customer had a smile on their face of complete satisfaction. I'm certain that we will return in the near future.

We’ve been twice and it’s the best pizza i e ever had. Thin crust, light sauce, but it’s SO flavorful. I got the angry beekeeper and it was SO good i just can’t even explain it. Husband loves their salads there and his chicken bacon ranch pizza was super good too. Highly recommend. Plus you can watch them make the pizza and the kids like that. Their kid pizza we got was shaped like Mickey mouse and they were so excited.

Old scratch Pizza is by far the best pizza quite possibly in the entire state of Ohio. I always love visiting this place when I come home to visit from Jacksonville Florida. The staff is always friendly and accommodating, beer is always ice cold and numerous choices to choose from. Authentic Pizza ovens and numerous choices on the menu for things other than pizza. The crust alone I could eat by itself! A warm crisp outer shell and bottom with a great inside dough! The meatballs are also fabulous! Don’t go without them, I promise you! Highly recommended to anyone passing through or just moving into town! Thank you #OldScratchPizzaAndBeer for setting the bar so high! Until next time! Cheers 🍻

We arrived with 10 people not realizing there was a UD game that had just ended. The restaurant was packed. The guy told us he would make it work. He had a table for 10 ready in 10 minutes. The restaurant stayed packed the entire time. We had the best service. The pizza and salad were amazing, staff was amazing. We felt relaxed and had a great time. Thanks for making our family night a great one, even while you were extremely busy!!! Kudos ❤️❤️

Interesting pizza options. Good beer selection on tap. Overall a great place to grab dinner on a Friday night! I highly recommend the Angry Bee Keeper!

Looove this place! I have dreams about the Angry Beekeeper - so good! Husband loved Mr. Scratch. We've tried a few different pies and haven't had a bad one yet! My kids loved their pizza with mouse ears, too. Highly recommend!

Great place for wood fired Pizza and a beer. Plenty of specialty pizzas you won’t find many places. Flavors go really well with each other. Great selection of beer and nice atmosphere. Never tried roasted olives before, but they were a pleasant surprise. At least three wood ovens and clean kitchen open for customers to see

Great pizza, cool atmosphere. But the service was wonderful. The waitress went above and beyond. Highly recommend. Will definitely go back again.

We order 4 different pizzas and couldn't decide which one was the best! The crust was great and the toppings were high quality. The draft selection was also solid and my buddy was able to pick out an NA froma decent selection.

Some of the best food in general. Cauliflower is to die for. I’m actually dead after eating it, it was so good. Every pizza will not disappoint. Thanks for bringing the stracciatella back and thanks for doing the silverware at the table thing. There are absolutely 0 problems with this place. Quick, hot foot, medium amount of options, clean beer lines and good alcohol choices. Come here… even if there is a line…

Old Scratch Pizza. Elliot, (cheese pizza), Birdie, and stracciatella, (not pictured). I didn't realize that the Birdie was a white sauce pizza, so that's on me. I'm not a fan of white sauce. The toppings were lacking on both pizzas. Lots of crust, and the crust was not my favorite. It wasn't terrible, but I wouldn't go out of my way to go back. Overall I was not a fan.

Great pizza and salad. Had one with hot honey and a red sauce and a second with a white sauce, prosciutto and arugula. Both were great. Also had the Italian salad, very good but could have skipped the large croutons. Large picnic tables inside and an outside patio. Would definitely recommend.

Good pizza, roomy dining area. The food arrives quickly and the staff is nice. It is a thin crust, personal size pizza with “different” toppings. Not a hearty pizza place. Good flavor though!

Ordered 2 pizzas and a salad to share and the food here is pretty good. On the weekends they are pretty packed so we grabbed two seats at the bar which you can do at any restaurant without having to wait in line to be seated. From there our food came out pretty fast despite 100 people being in the restaurant. Like I said before it is rowdy on the weekends so be prepared to either wait in line or be in a noisier environment for a while. Nothing a cold beer and good company can’t drown out, though. I love the vegan options on the menu so I we come here every once in a while given its on the expensive side.

Truly excellent pizza! Its neapolitan style (brick oven, so there will be blackened bits of crust), which is by far the closest to what I had in Rome that I have found here in the US. The flavor combinations include some that you will rarely encounter, too, such as the wonderful prosciutto arugula pizza. Don't forget a soft serve ice cream cone for dessert, as proceeds go to local charities! There are regular special dishes that feature local ingredients, such as the mushroom bowl pictured from Guided By Mushrooms. The cocktails are pretty good, and the beer list is solid (20 taps), and reasonably priced, with beers from both local breweries and a few select imports. Friendly staff, no table service means that you can linger for a few minutes with friends without getting glares from the servers. Parking can be a bit of an issue at all their locations, so be prepared to park in an adjacent lot and walk over.

Love the open kitchen concept so you can watch all the pizzas be made and fired off in the brick ovens, it adds to the experience. Appetizers were delicious, we had two salads and hummus. They have some nice vegan/ vegetarian options (I got the v. Margherita). Staff was friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend!

Ummm..these are supposed to be personal pizzas but they're big..average $14 per pizza. Kind of a warehouse feel with some outside seating. You order, then sit, and they bring it to your table. They were pretty quick. The music sucked..but I'm old, so there's that.

This place is solid! Great service, it was slammed when my family and I went and they got us a table quick! I had the bee keeper pizza, definitely unique and delicious but I prefer to just have a pep and cheese. Love the kids pizzas, the whole experience is great, but I just expected more. We would probably come back!

Good pizza, we had the Brooklyn with mushrooms added. I felt it could have had more sauce and cheese added. Loved the thin crust. Nice seating outside, large tables inside and small parking lot. Good selection of beers and other drinks. I would go again if I were in town.

Customer service was awesome. They helped us make great choices. We got roasted cauliflower appetizer. The Dayton pizza (pepperoni) and the prosciutto arugula. The pepperoni was so incredible i will have to come back for that again for sure.

We love a pizza place with some great vegan options! The roasted cauliflower is my favorite. I’d rate them 5 stars if they had gluten free, vegan pizza options! This place is also on the pricier, splurge side.
