I
am
willing
to
pay
a
premium
for
perfection.
This
was
salon
was
far
from
perfect,
but
it
was
cheap.
I
was
only
charged
$75
for
a
gel
manicure
and
gel
pedicure
($90
after
tip).
I
have
been
getting
gel
nails
for
years.
I
LOVED
my
salon
in
Philly
-
but
I
recently
moved
to
the
area
and
I
need
to
find
a
new
nail
tech.
My
old
salon
was
$105
for
a
gel
manicure
and
gel
pedicure
($125
after
tip).
I
realize
Hanna’s
Nails
is
40%
cheaper
than
the
service
I
am
use
to,
so
I
don’t
expect
the
quality
to
be
the
same.
Hanna’s
Nails
has
a
very
strong
smell.
My
old
salon
did
not
do
acrylics
or
dip
gel,
so
I
was
taken
aback
by
the
smell
of
this
salon.
I
can’t
help
but
think
the
fumes
were
unhealthy.
On
top
of
the
smell,
everything
from
the
fake
plants
to
the
chairs
were
covered
in
powder
/
dust
from
filing.
-0.5
star.
They
did
not
keep
my
appointment
time.
I
arrived
before
my
scheduled
appointment
but
was
not
actually
seen
until
a
half
hour
after
my
appointment
time.
Again,
I
am
willing
to
pay
a
premium
for
promptness.
I
don’t
have
the
free
time
to
wait
around.
-1
star.
I
asked
the
tech
to
please
soak
my
gel
polish
off
and
to
not
use
the
electric
nail
drill
as
I
didn’t
want
to
damage
my
natural
nails.
She
said
she
would
only
file
the
surface
and
then
soak
the
gel
off.
The
drill
filed
more
than
just
the
gel
and
removed
some
of
my
natural
nail.
She
actually
used
the
drill
again
after
she
let
the
gel
soak
in
the
acetone.
She
didn’t
use
the
triangle
gel
scraper
tool
to
remove
the
gel
polish
without
damaging
my
nails.
I
was
very
disappointed
in
the
service
and
upset
that
she
did
not
respect
my
wishes.
-1
star.
The
actual
service
itself
was
rushed,
so
I
was
finished
exactly
1
hour
after
she
started.
I
understand
that
the
salon
likely
uses
the
electric
drill
files
to
save
time
and
schedule
more
appointments,
but
this
technique
damages
the
natural
nail
bed.
On
top
of
that,
the
“massage”
was
quick
and
too
rough.
Then
the
nail
tech
painted
the
gel
polish
on
my
actual
skin
the
entire
time.
The
used
the
cuticle
pusher
to
scrape
the
polish
off
my
skin.
Any
remaining
polish
that
was
left
on
my
skin
after
curing
under
the
lamp
was
then
*cut
off*
with
the
cuticle
cutters.
On
top
of
that,
the
final
product
is
also
flawed
as
my
nail
lengths
&
shapes
are
inconsistent.
The
nail
tech
filed
my
nails
after
the
gel
was
fully
cured,
which
makes
me
concerned
that
the
gel
will
lift
/
peel
off
now.
-1
star.
I
cannot
comment
on
the
hygiene
of
the
salon
as
I
did
not
see
any
sterilization
stations,
nor
did
I
see
where
my
nail
tech
got
my
tools
from.
The
whole
salon
looks
like
it
was
furnished
in
2017
-
lots
of
“live,
laugh,
love”
&
“be
kind”
&
“hello
gorgeous
signs.”
The
salon
had
the
Today
Show
playing
on
the
TV
by
the
manicure
tables,
and
music
playing
in
the
back
by
the
pedicure
chairs.
The
competing
sounds
was
both
distracting
and
overwhelming.
Pros
-
There
are
parking
spaces
in
front
of
the
salon.
There
is
a
lot
behind
the
salon.
You
can
book
your
appointment
through
their
website.
The
actual
service
was
fast
despite
waiting
for
a
half
an
hour
to
be
seen.
The
techs
didn’t
make
any
attempt
to
speak
to
me
while
I
was
there,
which
I
like.
If
you
are
looking
for
small
talk
during
your
service,
you
may
be
disappointed.
This
salon’s
quality
likely
matches
the
discounted
prices.
I
will
be
looking
elsewhere
for
a
more
relaxing
and
detail
oriented
option.
