Very self contained and clean. Helpful manager. Able to wash a load of clothes, which was nice.

Older type motel but has been updated. Comfortable rooms and ours had a view of the snow topped mountains. Very convenient to restaurants but also quiet at night. Very helpful staff and we were given fresh milk for our hot drinks and bottled water to use as the town water currently has to be boiled as a precaution. Guest laundry was convenient and economical to use. Restaurant recommendations and tourist info given at reception was spot on and very helpful.

Walking distance from grocery store, restaurants and Wildlife Centre! Lovely staff, clean and spacious and functional rooms. Even had a DVD player! Kitchenette small but fully equipped & perfect for preparing dinner for family or lunches for day out. Heard Kia calls outside window (never saw one). Staff lovely.

Wonderful experience. Much more than what I expect from a motel. All necessities in the room and high level of cleanliness. Mountain view was lovely! Close location, can walk to restaurants and supermarket. Not on the main road so no load road noise. Team were the highlight. Great from the last minute booking confirmation, check in and check out. Everyone polite, helpful and friendly!

The Franz Joseph Glacier Bella Vista is very handily situated and offers good off street parking . As a couple of retiree pensioners we felt that the rooms, like us , were showing their age and I certainly didn't enjoy the 2nd. floor location of our room and having to lug our cases up 2 flights of steps , especially with our arthritic joints ! it was also not pleasant climbing the steps each time we went out . I found the mattress too firm to get a good nights sleep . We had to make another special trip downstairs to ask for milk , it could have been in the room fridge or at least given to us on arrival .

Not a great room, stuck between laundry, the stairs, car parking and people talking loudly outside their room. Nethertheless warm, and cozy with semi view to the mountain. Avoid this room if you can, also beware additional $3.50 card transaction charges this vendor adds upon checkin (not cool at all considering we all use electronic transactions)

Excellent service from managers/owners - very happy to answer questions, provide town map and make suggestions for local activities and dining. Good size family room, very clean and neat. Highly recommend.

Arrived to be told our two rooms were cancelled by staff's mistake (did not receive an email about it). The manager was helpful to call other nearby properties and luckily one place had an apartment that just fit the whole group, but a shocking and unnecessary stress after a long drive. Call them before arrival to make sure your room is still available!
