We booked Comal River Cottages 403B and 403C on Zink street. The cabins were well maintained, comfortable beds, reasonable accommodations, and the softest towels and wash cloths I’ve ever used! The views of the river from the cabin are gorgeous! We saw fish swimming, different bird species and even deer while grilling on the patio. The cabin is conveniently located right next to Texas tubes (literally a one minute walk down hill), which made floating super easy not having to worry about parking and lugging the cooler very far. You can see the tubes from the driveway. I don’t think you could find a better location to stay when floating the river! Cathy was very quick to respond to any and all inquiries and had very open communication. Awesome place to stay!!

Hinman Island has a beautiful setup with the duplex sharing a small pool, patio, and grills. Five minute walk to Schlitterbahn’s main entrance. Clean, new furnishings inside. Good communication with the property manager. When we were there, side A had two king beds with a shared full bath on the first floor and two bedrooms with two double/queen beds in each and a shared full bathroom on the second floor. Side B had a king bedroom on the first floor and a king bedroom, a bedroom with two queens/ doubles, and a bedroom with a large bunk bed on the second floor. It was perfect for our assortment of 11 people and would have fit more people comfortably depending on the relationships.

Second time staying here with family (6 adults, 4 kids). We get two places (403c and b) with a connecting door, so we have more than enough space to spread out. Great location. Right on water and next door to Texas tubes. Deer visit daily. Rooms have soap, shampoo, etc. Charcoal on the grill outside. Kitchen decently equipped. Small but nice porches. You can walk right down to the water and get in. Some tubes are there if you want to dip in front of the house.

We celebrated my wife’s birthday floating the river! This property was fantastic and perfectly located walking distance from the start and end of the river. There were tons of tube rental places within walking distance as well. It was a wonderful experience and we had a blast! One thing I would suggest, is bringing an air pump in you plan to bring your own tube or taking your tube to one of the rental places!

Absolutely beautiful, spacious, well maintained. Right on the river! Great personable service, very helpful staff. We will definitely be back! Just went back 3 months later! ..Different house, not on the river but nearby with a pool. Very clean, roomy, well maintained. We love this place, lots of deer all around. Already recommended to family and friends! Will absolutely be back. I trust this company!

I want to thank you for such a quick response in responding to my inquiry about a potential cancellation. You truly made a difference. I grew up riding the Comal & Guadalupe river, however with reservations it’s hard to find accommodations unless you book well in advance. We had 279b it was gorgeous. I would love to stay at one on river….. thank you!

Our group of 25 thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Comal River Cottages. The location is the best on the river. Across from Landa Park and just upstream from the 'tube chute' The cabins are upscale, clean, and have easy river access. Cathy and her team are great!

We have stayed here several times throughout the years & always have a great time! Location is perfect walking distance to restaurants as well as river access & Schlitterbahn. Cathy is very easy to communicate with & houses are as described. Highly recommend staying here!

Amazing location! Very charming cottages right on the river next to Texas Tube rentals. We loved everything about this stay! And every morning and evening we were greeted by a family of deer. It was awesome! We will be back!

We just wrapped up our 2 night stay at the Comal River Cottages for a girls trip. It is the perfect place to stay!!! The cottage is adorable and very convenient. The tube rental is literally next door. You can’t beat this location. Highly recommend for your stay!

Booked for our family vacation. We love to float the river and this location was so conveniently located by the Comal river. Super cute house, large kitchen, comfy beds and linens, awesome rain shower, nice fire pit in the backyard. We enjoyed are stay very much. Will be returning.

The absolute best location possible! Lots of eateries in walking distance. We will definitely be back next year.

Perfecto location right on the river with your own (shared but not too shared if that makes any sense) access to river.

Hands down, this was the best place we have ever stayed at in NB. Clean, comfortable beds, stunning grounds, beautiful view. All around perfect.

We loved our stay at the cottages. It was nice a cozy with a full kitchen and all necessary cooking ware. The space was perfect for a family of 5 adults. The location was also great. Restaurants near by and just a few steps to the river. We were able to get right in and float to the first chute and walk back. We ended swimming across to get back to the cottage. They charge $2 during the weekend to get back in the river. No charge during the week.

Our family rented the comal cottage in July and it was everything we wanted ! Great location right on the river with steps leading down so you can easily swim. House was very comfortable with a well stocked kitchen and lots of living space. We will definitely rent there again

Cottage 415 was awesome. It is a perfect location on the river. The place was clean and exactly as described. It has its own entrance into the river and if you stay up past 10 pm you will see so much wildlife. We had a dozen deer come out of the woods and hang out with us. Wr also saw beavers and raccoons. We will definitely be back.

We had a great time at the CRCs! Such a beautiful place to stay in a beautiful setting. Our cottage was nicely appointed and felt very homey. Being located right next to the Comal River, we spent a lot of time outside and the outdoor sitting areas were comfortable and clean (which is not always the case with vacation rentals). Location is perfect because we were near the put-in for tubing and a short walk to downtown. We’re definitely staying there again!

We love comal river cottages and have made this our yearly family vacation! Tube rental right next door, close to the river and everything is so close! 5 star!!!

We absolutely loved our stay at our cottage. It's in the prime location! It's at the beginning of the river & either walking distance or a few miles away from EVERYTHING! In fact we loved it so much we've already reserved our cottage again for next year! The view is absolutely amazing!! You can't beat waking up & having coffee on the patio while watching dozens of deer & baby fawns walking around the the property. Our cottage was so nice we loved it. Although I over packed for our week stay, we wound up having everything we needed there on hand. Cathy was super sweet & an absolutely pleasure to work with, & she answered any questions or concerns we may have had immediately. Overall our stay there was a peaceful, beautiful & relaxing vacation getaway! We're already counting the days until our stay next year!

We couldn’t stop talking about how lucky we were to have found this spot! It was perfect for tubing, and it was close to town and to the Landa Park golf course. Everything was clean and working properly. The porch and yard were fantastic for relaxing by the river. Excellent place to stay!

Our stay at the Comal River Cottages was wonderful. The house was very clean and adequately stocked. Great location just steps from the river and only a few blocks to outstanding restaurants and coffee houses. We will definitely book again.

Loved this rental! We had a large group and rented both sides! The house was so nice and had beautiful decor. Pictures don’t do it any justice. The patio was fun to hang out as a group and grill out. It was a perfect location for the Comal river! Just walk across the street to 3 tube rental companies and then can walk to get right into the river. Cathy was prompt to respond with any question and maintenance was super fast too! Can’t wait to stay here again.
