DELICIOUS! I had the Mediterranean chicken salad, very delicious & fresh. We also had the steak schwarma, so good! The hummus is super good. I do love hummus. Anyway can't wait to come back & try everything. The guy in front of us said everything on the menu is amazing. Super great service as well.

The owner is amazing. The food is amazing - everything is amazing! So authentic. All homemade. Everything is good. Shawarma. Gyro. Chicken pita. Hummus. Especially the cilantro jalapeno hummus. I've had it all & it's so good. So reasonably priced too! I've been going for 6 years now.

After a long day & week they treated me to a wonderful meal tonight even though they were already closed!! Totally made my day I will definitely be back!! Thank you so much!! #faithrestored

I love this little place. Fresh food, good taste, good prices. It's a busy take out place. You can dine in for a quick lunch. It's right next to the BP gas station.

This is a nice little hidden restaurant that is deceiving at first glance since it's located in a section of a gas station but this is definitely not gas station food. I had the kifka kabob that came with rice and it was very good, I have never had that specific dish before. I can't wait to try the beef shawarma, the lady behind the counter was helpful in explaining some of the dishes to me and I look forward to going again. I forgot to take a picture of the food before I ate it so I'll have to do that next time.

What a gem of a place! I was looking for some Mediterranean food nearby and found Larsa's kitchen! I've had Mediterranean food from the city and I have to say, this is my favorite! Everything is so fresh and tasty! I wound up going back 3 times within a week! Highly recommend it! Like another person said, don't let the gas station fool you, this place is clean and 100% worth it! Their lentil soup is uh-mazing!

First visit. I think I may have found the best gyros in the Fox Valley. The gyros are sliced in long narrow strips, ensuring a generous amount of "crust". Delicious! My wife had the vegetarian platter. Looked beautiful, I'll try that in a future visit. I'm just sorry it took me so long to find this place!

They have the BEST gyro salad in the local area. Large portion and fairly priced.

We had to go to Elgin, IL and we got lunch hungry. Monday, not good. There was a Mexican restaurant in front of us but it was closed. We googled the next closest place and it was described as "Mediterranean food" and we like Mediterranean. It was hard to find because it was inside of a gas station in repairs. The food is so delicious, we ordered our dinner to go also. We will go back, no doubt, and we recommending Larsa's to everybody. She told us she'll be moving down the street in a month. You really need to experience her food. Outstanding!!

Gyros and kifta we great! Chicken shawarma and beef shawarma were ok. Not the best shawarma I've ever had but it's slim pickings in the area. Props to the ladies working hard back there. If you come, make sure you go with the gyros!

What a great hidden gem! Best Gyro’s around and in a very unsuspecting place hence the lost star to atmosphere. Super nice lady and hope she finds help soon!

Very disappointed in the service I received today. The lady at the service desk was very rude and upset that I put in an Uber eats order for pickup between 7:15-7:45. When I arrive at 7:40 I am told “putting in the big of an order this late is wrong because we are actually already closed”. Update your timings if you don’t want to accept orders but don’t be rude to customers. May not be returning.

They were annoyed I ordered near their closing time and let me know that. I ordered at 7pm and restaurant closes at 8pm. I came to pick it up at 7:45 and it was not ready. The lady proceeds to be short and rude, making our food as fast as possible and leaving out my extra side of sauce which I have already paid $3 for. When I asked about it I was told "I dont have any more sauce sorry". Dont accept orders after 7pm if you dont want to or can't make it. But dont take it out on the person who is paying. Very disappointing for someone who comes here often I will reconsider coming back.

Maybe it's us, but we were disappointed. We eat Middle Eastern food at least once a week, and we travel up to 20 miles for it. We didn't feel like going to Mundelein today so we tried Larsa's for the second time. Maybe we hit an off day. The soup had good flavor, but was very thinned with water - could taste the water. The dolmades filling was pasty. The tsatsiki and garlic sauces were very, very watery and so had no taste at all. No one on the staff spoke at all except to call out our order. The first time we were here, we also noted smaller than usual portions and lunch for 2, served in take out styrofoam, was $40. The restaurant is in a gas station. We saw one other customer come in, and it was 12:30 in the afternoon. Everyone is entitled to an off day, but we won't be back. So weird to see all the glowing reviews.

Best Gyro I've ever had. Meat is super juicy, homemade tzakziki is fire. Pleased to find all ingredients were placed on the bottom instead of on top. Will be returning.

Great traditional Mediterranean style food! We tried the chicken with hummus and the beef shawarma salad. Both were freshly made with fresh ingredients! We really appreciate the excellent food and friendly staff. If you've never tried it, or are a fan, stop on for some great food!

Stopped in winging it because there aren't many good middle eastern restaurants in the suburbs but to my surprise this place was GREAT!!! The women who helped me were the sweetest ladies ever I got big portions at an awesome price and the food was fresh, really flavorful and cooked right!!! This is definitely my new go to I highly recommend anyone to go you won't be disappointed!!!

If it tasted like it what you ate,is the best food...and it was absolutely delicious...I ordered a steak plate and my brother ordered chicken...when we couldn't eat all of it ...we brought it to the hotel.. just imagine!!😊

This is a really good Mediterranean menu and the food is delicious and the prices are very fair. It is located in half of a gas station just like a lot 9f subway restaurants but don't let that fool you. The service was quick and the people are very nice. Great value and taste!

Surprised that the food is THIS good, being located in half of a BP. The tzatziki is amazing, veggies and pita were fresh, will continue to go back even at a 30min drive!

I would rate this place with 6 if would be possible. The best Mediterranean restaurant that I’ve tried. Tasty, great service, quick and good prices, i highly recommend this restaurant hands down.

Hummus is not great. Falafel patties weren’t either. Falafel sandwich’s pita wasn’t very good. Baba ganoush is very good though. Ordered for pickup. Was told 20 minutes it’ll be ready. Showed up in 30 minutes and it wasn’t ready yet

I've had several of the items on the menu. Everything has been delicious. The shawarma, gyros, salads, wraps, all are great. They have a small dining area which isn't a problem since most people seem to get it to go. I've gotten it to go and eaten there.

Fantastic shawarma and rice. Good salads and gyros. Good portions. Reasonable prices. Sometimes the service is slower, but it's worth the wait. Try and enjoy.

I discovered this place by accident, I have tried so many different things on their menu, never got disappointed, their baba ghanouj is delicious, their dolma is also amazing, ckn shawarma plate was also delicious and their prices are very cheap comparing to other places and the quality of food is very high, I highly recommend this place and by the way the lady who takes orders I forgot her name she is very sweet. Love this place.
